My wife and I were going to the Theater and didn't want to eat in one of the Theater district restaurants. Del Frisco was great. Nice atmosphere, lovely waitress and the food was excellent. A little pricey but worth it as it made the whole evening great.
Terrible service. Food was served cold. Several menu items were unavailable.
Late Dinner spot
Burger was delicious. Fries could have been warm, if not hot.
We thought this was the double eagle restaurant and it wasn't. Service was great but steak and food was just ok. Have had better.
Steak had way too much salt and pepper on it. Also order your steak without butter.
All was wonderful minus our seat which was right by the door, so it was a little cold every time the door opened.
I have dined at this restaurant many times before and I have never experienced not only the poor quality of the food but the awful service.
We were a party of five My sister and her daughter my mom and my daughter and I and I’m not sure if the fact that we were all women we were never greeted by the waitress never offered drinks (other than tap water) or appetizers
The waitress was extremely annoyed and all she wanted was to rush to take our order Therefore I started from the beginningI asked for the drink menu I ordered a bottle of water -well that took over half an hour to arrive- aside from the fact that the waitress disappeared I had to ask the hostess in front to find her or bring us our drinks
We ordered food - and then without asking -she proceeded to removed the wine glasses from the table therefore I said: can I have the wine list pls - again annoyed and very rudely she sat back the glasses on the table.
Food was brought by a service from the kitchen- waitress never came to ask how was our food until it was time to bring me the check She never came to refill one glass of wine - again I had to ask the hostess to please bring us our side food that was missing - and a cup of coffee for my mom.
When she finally arrived I asked her to Pls take a picture of us by what she responded : sure I will be right back ... 10 minutes later she sent a hostess to do so because she was too busy to come back.
Again I’m not sure what was the issue or her problems with us but I have to say that if she thought that because we were women we wouldn’t order drinks or wine she was wrong. My husband was absent because he was at an office event and without him we spend $425 dollars - that was our bill I’m sue that if my husband would have been there her attention and service to us would have been totally different. Very sad to do this type of review to this restaurant
Food was awful steaks were dried Filet minon was cold etc etc etc
Great for a business dinner. We arrived very early and were accommodated without a problem. Solid vegetarian selection, big portions, and nice ambiance. Only downside was that one of the items we ordered never arrived. The main course was plenty big though! I'll be back!
Excellent food and service
Excellent food and service on a busy Friday evening. Steaks were prepared perfectly, and we received our food in a timely manner.
Great steak! Yummy Brussels sprouts! Perfect meal!
I’ve been here before and it’s been great - yesterday was a bit of a let down though. We had a group of 8, an absent waitress and drinks that were consistently not coming out at the same time. The food was good. Not amazing. Overall, it was a meh for me.
We had 5:00 reservations and just made it by 5:15. Had a great booth, there were 6 of us 4 adults and 2 children. We have all been here before and always enjoyed it. We ordered steaks, burgers and shaved steak sandwich. All were very good but the burger was a slight disappointment. Ordered very rare and it was medium. I didn't mention to waiter I am sure he would have corrected it, my husband ordered soda and when the fountain soda was flat they replaced with a bottle soda, perfect. The shaved steak was good but is usually spectacular. This is a great place when you want a bite by Rockefeller Center. Wait staff are the best. Cocktail s are very good too.
Service a bit rushed. Ordered Rare filet on bone was more medium rare and a bit oversalted.
Very salty food and fair not a good value for the experience but good location.
Waiter was very patient and professional. Food was outstanding.
Very good food. I had the roasted chicken. Yummy. My friend has the Ceassr salad. Very good lunch spot
Great service. Super friendly and excellent food!
Very prompt service,all needs anticipated
Varied choices at our table of four and all great
Fabulous as always
Great food, great vibes you will definitely enjoy time here
Everything about our experience at Del Frisco's was amazing. From the moment we walked in and was greeted by the friendly hostess until we left. We arrived a half hour early for our reservation and the hostess was more than accommodating in seating us early. Our server Patrice was amazing! She was so helpful when ordering, very pleasant, and even acknowledged our anniversary which we were celebrating that evening. The drinks were great which is no easy task when ordering a chocolate martini. When we were leaving we asked for directions for the correct subway to take. Not only did the hostess give us the correct train but walked us through the restaurant to use a door closer to the subway entrance. To me this is above and beyond great customer service. Thank you Del Frisco's staff for a wonderful and memorable evening.
Very wonderful food! I taste tested the filet burger, fries, ahi tuna salad, and wild mushroom flatbread. The filet burger had a perfectly balanced flavor profile. The fries were delicious! The ahi tuna was seared perfectly and the accompanying salad had great nutty Asian flavors and a great heat to it! My grandmother had the fish and chips, and although I didn’t taste that one, she herself said it was fantastic! I used to hate mushrooms, and was unable to digest them, but I tried those wild mushrooms and loved them! I don’t know everything they were seasoned with, but they were good. My only issue with the flatbread was that white truffle oil, because it doesn’t actually have truffles in there. It overpowered the arugula and the mushrooms a bit. But everything was excellent! My compliments to the chefs!
Our server Drew was fantastic. The bottle of wine we ordered was not available. Drew had other suggestions for us and he recommended a very good wine. (its on my phone but I'm having trouble )
We were served in a timely fashion as we had mentioned to Drew that we were seeing a matinee.
We had a window seat and we were just loving our experience.
Of course we'll be back and hopefully Drew will be our server.
Great place to eat. Service was superb. We ate there 2 nights.
Excellent food and very friendly service. Everything was perfect
Great food and service!
Devil eggs seem like days old. Scallop is so so.
The food and service was excellent!
Perfect New Year’s Eve menu
Went on New Year’s Eve and the food was amazing. Really appreciated the 3 course meal
Very good food and experience!
Very limited menu on new years eve
The food and drinks were all made to perfection. The Cheesesteak Eggrolls are a MUST. Both the Filet Mignon and New York Strip we ordered were extremely tasty and were cooked exactly to our liking. Although we found the ambience somewhat noisy and the tables a little too close for comfort, we will definitely go back when we visit NYC again.
Night out in the city. Food was great. Waitress was very nice.
It was fantabulous!
Our server Brian was terrific, and was very concerned that we were happy. It was loud, they played terrible music for an expensive restaurant. No white table cloths, no basket of bread. But prices of a high end restaurant! We ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg roll appetizer and it was tasty. We shared a rare New York strip and a side of crispy brussel sprouts and a side of fries. The food took FOREVER. And when it arrived, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the brussel sprouts were definitely NOT crispy and the fries were cold and mushy. Brian had them remade for us, but it was obvious that the cook just dropped the same exact fries again and served us the same nasty $9 order of fries. Brian was so apologetic and sweet. He wanted to make it right, but we were so over it. Our $95 vacation dinner was pretty meh, and with so many other fantastic steak houses in NY, we definitely will not return.
