Del Frisco's Grille - NYC
Locally-Farmed, Hand-Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, Pan Jus
Goat Cheese Polenta, Tomato Chermoula, Pine Nut Gremolata
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The outdoor set up is lovely: spacious and nicely landscaped with plenty of room between tables. The wedge salad was was perfectly prepared and generous. The steak was properly cooked albeit a little too much pepper for me (next time I will know) and the frites were yummy. I would definitely go back.
Average experience probably won’t return
Great experience for our outdoor dining dinner. The staff went above and beyond expectations!
It was an amazing experience the food was really good and it was a very intimate moment.
The food was amazing as usual.
loved the food!!!! great service!!!!!! And scenery!!!!
Our experience is possibly resulting from the restaurant being newly reopened following the lockdown, but it was worse than we’ve ever experienced there (we have both dined there separately for business). The server was very nice but had too many tables, and although he reminded us every time he passed, that he was getting to something, it took him very long to deliver. Both the salmon and burger on our respective dishes smelled and tasted “off” (less than fresh) and there was debris in two separate glasses of beer from the tap (it seemed that the tap was not clean), so we just decided to switch to bottled soda. Overall, a choppy experience and not good value for the cost.
good outdoor seating option with shade/umbrellas.
Great to be out again and safely social distanced! Celebrated my daughter's birthday in 90 degree weather outside but all tables were shaded with umbrellas so lunch was very pleasant, and staff were attentive bringing cold drinks regularly. Restaurant also did a great job with one-way aisles to restrooms, all wore masks, and readily available sanitizer.
chairs were dirty- the last diners food was on 2/4 of them. table was dirty. they made you walk way inside to get seated outside. the hand sanitizer they requested you used was made of tequila and was hard to get the smell off your hands. if you don’t drink alcohol putting almost pure tequila on your hands is not cool. food was mediocre but we were so grossed out by how dirty it all was knowing nothing was sanitized in between down to dirty silverware and pepper shakers bc it was visable to the naked eye. gross. we try to support the restaurants around but they have to support us in return with basic cleanliness standards during this time. this was the first we’ve been to that didn’t even come close.
Very disappointing. Premium prices and mediocre delivery. No cloths on the tables---really? Even the little cafes on Columbus have them. Corks and chewed gum in the flower pots next to the table. No bread available. Food was okay but not amazing considering the prices. Nice glass of wine. I would not return even in better times.
Great to see you back open and managing the difficult situation so well. Great service and food the usual good standard.
Amazing appetizers. Ambiance was pretty nice, great seating right by Rockefeller Center. I’m from Houston, so I’m EXTREMELY picky about my steak. It was maybe a 3/5 for me (the steak). Great crust around the outside, decent flavor. However, wasn’t cooked to how I like it and too much fat on the steak. I know some people like that, I’m not the biggest fan. I’d recommend it to someone.
This is a great establishment and we were happy to be back. Food was fantastic as always and service was attentive.
With Covid - only outdoor seating available. But well spaced, prompt service, adequate shade. Access to restroom permitted inside if wearing mask. Food was on point as typical with DFG. Service by our waiter Lex was great.
This was the second visit since the re-opening. The first was terrible but the ambiance is so nice (in Rock Plaza) and the choices are few if you dont want to sit in the middle of the street, so I gave them another chance.
This time the food was very good. Kale and Brussels sprouts salad was great (especially considering the fact that it was kale and Brussels sprouts :-)) and the filet mignon and NY strip were excellent.
You DO pay for it, however. Annoyingly, they do not put the streak prices on the menu but they were $54 and $61 and, like all steak houses, sides are a la carte. There are some good, reasonable wines by the glass.
The service was friendly but very inefficient. Sat there for over half an hour before the waiter came by. There are only about 14 tables for goodness sake! Dropped the check off while we were still eating not asking if we wanted dessert or an after dinner drink.
Oh yeah, and no bread. I like a little bread with my salad.
Brian our waiter was nothing but spectacular!
Great food and atmosphere
Very cautious and careful about social distancing which made is feel comfortable.
Outdoor seating with limited capacity.
First diner out after quarantine
Had to go "last" duning out day. Another great experience. Sadly bone in rib was "okay"
Good service...good food...even gave us a free dessert cuz we were celebrating a birthday...no complaints!
Location so convenient to enjoying the area surrounding Rockefeller Center.
The artichoke beignets were a delicious lead-in to our salmon entrees. Service was excellent! Would definitely return.
Service was exceptional and quick, food was delicious, ambiance was perfect. Would definitely return.
Food was good- everything is ala carte so it is expensive. There was nothing special about this place that would make me want to come back.
Sub Par. Went conservative and ordered shaved steak sandwich. Was disgusting. Lukewarm and mushy. Wife’s salad was good but not for $30. Kids burger was huge and he enjoyed it. Apps were hit and miss. My son ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls. Way too salty and very greasy. No one finished them. Deviled eggs were good.
Maybe I ordered the wrong things but at this price point, there should be no wrong things.
It was good, we had a little of everything from a filet to the ribs and some scallops. Highlights were the brussel sprouts, ribs and shrimp cocktail. I guess I was just expecting to be truly wowed. The bill came to $450, and I was the only one in our party that had alcohol. I know NYC is expensive
, but for that I want to leave raving and it was just good....
Crab cake very disappointing, not too fresh.
Hot tea with lemon, forgeting the lemon, needed to remind waiter.
Steak sandwich excellent, soup was good.
This place was great. Our server was fantastic and the food was amazing.
Probably would not conduct a business meal here again. Just too loud.
Birthday celebration. All had a good time
We went early so it was loud but not as loud as it can be. Service was good and pleasant staff.
The meal was good and lived up to the expectation of a good steakhouse.
The overall experience was not enjoyable at all! Restaurant is VERY noisy, service was attentive at times and nonexistent the rest of the time.
Sat down on time, had requested seating not to be by bathrooms or Kitchen, we were sat by kitchen, asked the girl who was sitting us to move, she advised no open tables, take it or wait an Hr
We had an artichoke app that was SO salty we had to send it back. Also had a crap cake, which you could not share this was actually good
My wife had a bone off rib eye that was so over seasoned it was hard to eat, my NY strip was okay, heavy on the seasoning but okay. At least my dog enjoyed it the next day
Server and Manager did the right thing with the bill, and were very apologetic
All in all we will not go back
Everyone was so nice! Our server was accommodating and gave nice recommendations. I wish I would've gotten his name but thank you!!
Good spot for low-key business lunch. Moderately priced with fun vibe.
This is a beautiful spot to go to with friends and/or date night. My husband and I both love the service we receive along with the great food and drinks.
Sadly not a great dinner had at this restaurant. The waiter didn’t really explain the menu and so we didn’t really end up with the dishes we were expecting.
The fries were waaay too salty and cold that came with the burgers and steak
The salad was ok.
The restaurant tried to resolve our dissatisfaction but really should have been better.
Our food was not warm and the fries were cold!
And rhe deviled eggs were definitely last week‘s!!!
Food was delicious .
Service was pretty slow
