They brought out food and never brought the appetizer. Never refilled our drinks. Caesar salad with chicken was bland.
Great! Joshua was an amazing waiter. All of the wait staff were great.
Food was mediocre, nothing special.
Service was not good at all.
Nobody seemed to care either way.
Bad service, impatient staff, slow food, tasted good though
An incredibly poorly run restaurant!! We had a reservation for 9 people that had been made over 6 weeks prior to date. We had to wait 25 minutes to be seated and food took forever to get there. They were completely understaffed and not up to the task of serving a large party. Stay away.
Worst steak I’ve had in a LONG time.
The appetizers and salad were fine. I could barely saw into my steak, much less chew it, plus it was salted so much it was practically inedible.
The mashed potatoes started a conversation at our table called “Are they instant/boxed potatoes?” There were some potato skins and a couple lumps, so we ultimately decided they weren’t, but when your table is trying to figure out why the meal is so bad, that’s not good.
Fantastic dining experience, two thumbs up.
The waiter was awesome paid attention to all our little. He made my birthday really special.
Waitress was very forgetful and unhelpful.
My family was very disappointed by the menu and quality of food during our visit to this location. It’s normally good but this time the food was disappointing, the wait for our food was long, the drinks were not very good and the restaurant seemed more than chaotic. My fathers food was obviously burned but still sent out and my sisters side of Brussel sprouts were over cooked and burned. We aren’t a difficult family and noticed that they were severely understaffed so we ate our food, stayed quiet and decided we probably won’t be back. Our waitress was sweet as pie and I felt bad that she had to deal with the stressors around her. Good luck to this location.
I was excited and expecting a much high level of service and food. Drinks were not offered so the one glass of water we got didn't last the meal. I ordered a salad however they tried to deliver 3 additional salads (drinks would have been better). Having eaten at the New York location, this was a neighborhood bar.
I have frequented Del Frisco on numerous occasions in different cities; more so for work meetings and have always been pleased with the food and overall experience. Thus my reason for suggesting to my husband that we have brunch at the Nashville establishment for Mother's Day. The overall experience was less than stellar. We waited 5 minutes to be greeted, the music was loud and not what I would have chosen, we waited 10 minutes for our waiter AND the women's bathroom was filthy (note: our reservation was at 11:30 and the restaurant opened at 11:00). I spoke to the manager about the condition of the restaurant and while the garbage on the bathroom stall was collected, the bathroom remained dirty. I had hoped for a nice quiet and enjoyable brunch and instead felt like I was at Applebee's except the prices were higher. If this is the 'new' Del Frisco Grille, I will pass on future visits. Final Rating: C- (the food was very good but my husband's entrée was brought to him 20 minutes before mine and my son; we typically like to eat when we've all been served). I really expected more from DFG.
A "go to" for us in Nashville. Mother's Day Brunch so was very busy. Food always outstanding.
I’ve eaten here several times and each time the food has been delicious and the service great. I definitely recommend Del Frisco’s!
No host on duty the entire time I was there. Food took over an hour and all of it was way over cooked. Despite nominally have 2 servers, we were rarely checked on and received no refills. Manager gave us a small discount for how terrible everything was. I will never go back.
It took a very long time to get our cocktails, then never received our appetizer. I ordered salmon medium rare and it was well done - when had been there for over an hour so I just ate it- not that our waiter came by often to check. Most of us had empty glasses. Finally after we ate we got the deviled eggs (which none of us liked). Then we waited for 30-45 minutes just to get our check to leave. Needless to say a disappointing experience for $165. So many options Nashville I don’t think I’ll be going back here. The best part of the meal was the 1 cocktail and the waiter never came back so I could get another.
Great place to eat, good service, and the Salmon was excellent
Very disappointing in so many ways. This was formerly one of my favorite restaurants but sadly I can no longer say that.
The food was excellent and the server was great!
Great first experience with restaurant! Really enjoyed
Everything about Del Frisco’s is top notch. The restaurant, staff (young & hip, quite knowledgeable). Drinks were well presented. One bad element. My ribeye was very gristly. It was perfectly cooked and looked great but the gristle was very disappoint. It really took the shine off an otherwise terrific experience.
I ordered a medium well steak and received a well done & charred one. It was replaced with another well done one. The response, "I'm sorry, it may not be the chef's night because someone else had the same issue." I wasn't offered compensation or anything else but a thank you. I have a reservation for this weekend & I'm truly considering moving it. This was the 1st time having this type of issue here or anywhere.
We sat down at 7:30 pm. We finally received our food at 9:30. The Resy was about half full, just poorly staffed and the kitchen was pathetically inept.
Even though a bit pricey, on every previous visit, Del Frisco's was always good value and a good time for me and my three adult children, good food, varied menu for everyone's tastes, good service, lively room while not being too loud for conversation.
This time, same good service, but the food was mixed with some WAY off the mark. GREAT: lobster mac but it ruins my daughter's good time even more to deal with having her food sent back to the kitchen.
I don't mind at all dropping $75-100 per person all-in (wine tax tip) when we have a good time, which, all of now being vaccinated, is why Del Frisco's was our first post-pandemic go-to. Now, I don't see us going back.
Great atmosphere good food.... over priced
Quality, fresh food. Great service. Nice portion size.
We had a very professional server but he did not know the market fish special and had to go check, was unsure about the chicken dish in terms of white or dark meat. At 7:00 they were out of their steak special sandwich and two deserts. They dishes were served with no garnish, a filet was on a white plate with nothing else, the side was in a separate metal container. Everything was ok but these issues should be addressed. Prices high enough that you would expect them to not be an issue.
Dillan is the reason i keep coming back! He’s an EXCELLENT server. My cheesesteak egg rolls were sooooo good! I ordered the crab cake Benedict and it was pretty good. I wasn’t crazy about the hollandaise sauce. My sangria w/the popsicle was super good too! But i always request to be at Dillan’s table. He’s very knowledgeable of the menu and makes the best suggestions!
My experience at Del Frisco’s started off average and then transformed into the evening of a lifetime once I tried the white sangria. 10/10 this is the best sangria I’ve had in my entire life. It was fruity, came with a fun popsicle, and really took the evening to another level. The flavor was exquisite and I will simply be returning just for the white sangria.
Fantastic Food. Reasonably priced. The Coconut Cream Pie is SINFUL. Atmosphere & views of downtown Nashville were spectacular .
It was our 10th anniversary, and everything was perfect!
My boyfriend and I went to Del Frisco’s this weekend to celebrate our one year anniversary. The food was absolutely amazing! I got the filet mignon, topped with goat cheese, and truffle macaroni! It was superb. They also have a great selection of wines. I will definitely be back
Very good. Sat outside. Food excellent. Very good server. I will go again!
Took about 10 after seating to get service and another after that to receive water. Service was pretty slow and it was a very very slow night so wasn’t sure what was going on. And we sat in a table near the bar.
Our Server made our visit outstanding! He was knowledgeable on the wines and food and gave us just the right amount of attention.
Our server Dylan was awesome. Manager was great too.
Only thing missing was the Lemon Buttercream cake!
We thought everything was great. We had wonderful experience dining.
