Del Frisco's Grille - N Bethesda
It was amazing good food
We have eaten at Del Frisco’s many times and enjoyed it, especially the Cheesesteak eggrolls. This visit did not match the typical quality. We had 2 dirty glasses, our waiter was forgetful and was not great. The food was good. Need to do some upskilling on the service and the place settings.
Had to send steaks back to be cooked more, but once we did, they were very good.
Very good food. My friend’s salad was really overdressed. Aside from that we liked everything. The drinks were excellent. It’s quite pricey. Excellent service.
Went for lunch with colleague and was not impressed. Asked for extra dressing on the side and never arrived. Coffee served luke warm. Meal unimpressive.
Mother’s Day dinner
Wonderful service and food. Beautiful environment, team work was very noticeable
The service was good, and the ambiance was nice, and it wasn't too noisy. But the food was middling.
We were there for mother's day brunch and they had a decent selection of options, but the two eggs benedict options were not good. One was a filet benedict, which is fine, but I didn't want steak. The other was a crab benedict, and I am allergic to crab. I asked for a plain benedict, and said that since I didn't see canadican bacon anywhere on the menu, they could just use plain bacon. The eggs were soft boiled, not poached, and the english muffins were rock hard. The bacon instead of canadian bacon was fine, and I realize I requested it. They gave me the spicy hollandaise that was supposed to go with the crabcake vs. a regular hollandaise. It was ok, but not what I expected. Also, the eggs benedict only came with 2 spears of asparagus, and one of them was tough and fibrous. There were no other sides included.
Overall, it was fine. Our server was very pleasant, and we had a nice time together, but I was not at all impressed by the food.
Have been here for dinner and it was good. Brunch not great. Limited menu; only go if you like poached eggs! Food just mediocre
They tried to seat our party of 5 at a booth that is really meant for 3 people.
We told them that was not ok so they told us we could sit at a high-top table at the bar. Not ideal, but fine. Then we ordered drinks at the bar and sat down at the high top. The drinks never got made and when we inquired we were told "well you ordered the drinks and left." (left to go sit down at the table 10 feet from the bar... but whatever)
Food was ok, not great. I asked for dressing on my salad to come on the side and it did not. The delay in getting it remade meant that everyone else had finished eating by the time my new salad arrived.
Mediocre ‘steakhouse’ impersonating an upscale restaurant. Entire experience was marginal from start to finish. Considering price and location, more was expected
Our server was wonderful. Food was good, nothing to knock your socks off but suited expectations. We had some issues with the manager not understanding acceptable forms of identification for alcohol which put a bit of damper on our graduation celebrations but our server more than made up for it with his impeccable table side manner.
I think I was just expecting more?? The server was OK the bar service was VERY slow!!! Food was ok at best .... I have to be honest I was disappointed 😞 I guess because it as Del Frisco’s I expected a 5 star restaurant and it’s NOT!!!
Great service and accommodating for a late reservation we made.
always excellent service, food. love del friscos!
New Yorkers visiting the kids and grandkids. Jonathan our server was fantastic from start to finish. Equal to the New York location with the relaxation of not beyond New York (lol)
Grandkids 5 and 10 loved it as well. One had filet mignon the other Mac n cheese.....’the best he ever had’. Quite the compliment from Me picky
We came to Del Frisco's because I knew that all the members of my family would be able to find something. We started with the artichoke beignets, roasted tomato flatbread and guacamole. (Everyone has their favorite!) Then then ordered the rib eye, fish and chips, cheeseburger and seared tuna salad. Each were delicious. My only word of warning is that it is VERY LOUD. Older people have to be patient because they will not be able to hear a word of conversations beyond where they are sitting.
Very disappointed. We’ve been going to this restaurant since it opened, mostly for brunch, and usually had a nice meal and good service. Our friends suggested it for dinner and... what a disappointment! We had to wait for the food for close to an hour, and had to ask for bread as my diabetic husband was watching his blood sugar plummeting. When the food finally arrived, both salads were missing the first listed ingredient- tomatoes. When the main dishes finally came, one of the two steaks was undercooked (both were ordered medium) and one of the two pork chops was almost raw inside. Had to wait again for the food to be cooked. Our friend had to ask 3 times for steak sauce. At no point did a manager stop by, and the waiter didn’t offer a free dessert or any compensation for the ruined dinner. After taking the dessert order, the waiter returned to inform our friends that the dessert they ordered wasn’t available. Again, nothing complimentary was offered... The indifference was even more disappointing than the sub par meal. Considering the price of the food, it should never be anything less than great!.. Don’t think we’ll be dining there any time soon...
Service was on the slow side. One order didn't come out correctly the first time. Took a while to get drinks and the check. Service and food seems to be much better when they aren't as busy.
Food unremarkable. My salmon was mediocre, my friends filet was tasteless. Service was good but it can’t make up for mediocre food.
My experience is always the same which is why we go back. The food is consistently great, The service exceptional and Friendly and they always get my drink perfect.
The baked goat cheese is a must for appetizers. And the steak is outstanding!! Truly the best steakhouse in moco for me. And thanks for the complimentary dessert since we went there to celebrate our anniversary!
It was worth a try. It wasn’t anything special and a bit overpriced. The atmosphere was cold and dark. Not sure of the story behind the interior decorations.
Remarkably average. High priced bland food. The beef stroganoff was a travesty, but house salad was really fair.
We went for Easter dinner and was shocked to see that the menu was different from the restaurant in wdc. Had we known we would not have gone to that one but the one in wdc.
Also the waitress suggested entrees she was not familiar with and the food was not good.
This was Easter dinner and I had invited friends. Ordinarily I would sing the praises of this restaurant as it is my favorite; however, this time there was a bit of disappointment. Looking over the menu online prior to the actual visit gives/gave the impression there is more than the same ole things, but that must be for the Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse in downtown DC (which should be noted on the menu or did I view the wrong menu?). The reservation was an hour after brunch and the request I made was for the medallions. Our server misunderstood thinking I was discussing Eggs Benedict and I went along with that for my meal . . . only, and this may be my fault ordering medium well with a little pink in the center, the meat was waaaay overcooked/too dry/hard to chew (no pink, except last piece), as if the steak was leftover from brunch so it was not enjoyable. The mac and cheese was watered down/tasteless and left unconsumed. Everything else was wonderful as expected.
For dessert, I requested the new upside down cake, but once again, it was not available. Regardless of whether the dessert was there or not, there need to be updates made to the menu, as frequent customers should have the option of new items at their favorite place to eat.
Decent food and nice seating outside, but overall overpriced for what you get. Quality of food is good but not worth the price at all.
Went on Easter Sunday for lunch so this experience may be different from a regular day however the restaurant was not full - there’s were several open tables. Loud music playing. Food was below my expectations. Filet Benedict came out with ice cold eggs. Sent back and got new plate with warm eggs. Burger and fries not served with ketchup- had to ask. Ice tea served without sugar/sweetener - had to ask. Server seemed disinterested. Corn bisque was very good. Based on this visit I won’t be back.
The Easter Brunch menu was a nice change of pace. Overall, I felt the regular menu didn't have enough options. Service was excellent, attentive without being over bearing. Pike & Rose is a great location, especially on a nice day when lots of people are outside and walking around.
I'll definitely go back.
Was not impressed with the food; while high quality, there were no side dishes, i.e. potatoes or fruit or salad, with brunch items. And not nearly enough hollandaise sauce on the filet Benedict!
Expensive, but two dishes were good. One dish, the waffle, was on cold side. Service fast though waiter did not have a lot of personality.
Easter Brunch was great!
I went to del Frisco Grille for my birthday. They were very accommodating with the reservation time and seating, and I appreciate that. The food was delicious and our server was good. We did have to ask for bread before it was brought to the table, but our overall experience was great. I'd definitely go back again.
Enjoyed the food, although it took quite a while to arrive. Recommend getting an appetizer or two to span the time (which we didn't do). It was a bit loud for my liking, and seating was a bit crammed.
Our party of six on a recent Saturday night had a wonderful time at Del Frisco's Grille. We shared yummy grilled artichokes, beets with whipped goat cheese, and chicken wings, all of which we loved! The entrées were equally tasty and included steak, hamburger, steak salad, and lettuce wrap, each prepared as ordered and perfect. The highlight of the evening, however, was definitely our server Jonathan who was so energetic, humorous, and personable, his presence made the evening!
Carlos was fabulous ! He took GREAT care of us, made our birthdays extra special and was attentive to our every need.
We can’t wait to go back and request him again!
All the dishes were very well prepared and tasted great. The service was awesome.
Stopped in with my family after a day of errands. We were not dressed well enough for anywhere fancy so Del Frisco’s grille-format, casual atmosphere was attractive. I have been to the original in New York & have experienced the level of quality & service that Del Frisco’s delivers.
The fillet was outstanding, perfectly prepared & cooked. Whipped beets with goat cheese was unique and exceptional as well.
My wife & boys all had salads and burgers. Everything was very good.
Service was slow and, while professional, decidedly impersonal. I was surprised how long we were left unattended with empty dishes on the table, lacking drink refills. The restaurant was not exceptionally busy but the waiter was flustered and sweating profusely. They must have have been forcing him to sweep and wash dishes in between table runs. Ha!
Great restaurant with a nice selection of food and every dish (10) were great. Everyone enjoyed their food very much. I noted in Open Table that we had 3 birthdays we are celebrating. I didn't realize that the the restaurant and Open Table we communicating but when I got there and I told them we had 3 birthdays they were already aware. Very impressive. We will definitely return to this restaurant!!
El filete New York espectacular. Buenos pero poco vinos chilenos.
Muy buen lugar para ir a cenar. Buen ambiente.
