Del Frisco's Grille - Irvine Ratings and Reviews
Usually everything is perfect but the service was off this time. Our server seemed in a hurry to move us along from not taking our entire order to leaving the bill right after or food arrived. We were upfront about the fact we were celebrating a birthday so it was odd. Hopefully thats not the new normal.
My girlfriend and I eat here once in a while and have never been disappointed. This Saturdays meal was no exception and actually the ribeye I had was cooked to perfection and was amazing. My gf had the scallops on polenta and that was also fantastic. Pricey of course but for sure exceptional food and service. Our waitress was also very attentive, friendly and helpful.
Service at the table was very good however service for seating was not so good, why would they seat you next to the kitchen entrance with noise and traffic while there were many tables empty ? This is disrespect to a new customer !
Also, Opentable’s map on their site directed us to a location with warehouses 3 miles away..
We were seated immediately. Service was excellent and they had noted it was a birthday dinner. I felt the menu was wonderful and had so many options it was hard to narrow down choices. We had one very minor glitch during dinner and it was handled quickly and with a smile -- later the manager stopped by to see if we were happy -- and we were. The prices are on a par with other restaurants of this caliber and the portions are generous. I don't drink but my dinner companion said his martini was "perfection." We'll definitely visit again.
Food was Fantastic!
My daughter has deadly nut allergies and they accommodated her perfectly!
Made a big to do of daughters bday-way to make her feel special ;-). Thank you!!
Lucky if you get BRANDON as your waiter- amazing and friendly service!
Will return again and again!
We were celebrating two birthdays in our party of four...a classy touch along with the comp'd desserts were the hand-written birthday cards signed by the staff. Received excellent service (Brandon, I think) and a great wine recommendation. Interior finishes make for a loud dining environment, but our booth table mitigated a potential noise level issue.
We celebrated our 26th Anniversary at this great restaurant. The food was delicious! The artichoke beignets were outstanding. Surprised us with thoughtful flowers, card signed by the staff and champagne. They made us feel very special. We certainly will be back. Thank you!
Just another business meal on the road. Until we met Brandon our server. He was great just just enough conversation without being disruptive, friendly helpful and quite knowledgeable about the wine selections
Food was very good as expected, but service was a very nice surprise and made it a very good night
Had brunch with a group of friends to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The table was ready when we arrived and the service was prompt and courteous. Our server(s) Jessie and Claudia were outstanding. They kept the drinks full and gave us as much time as we wanted to order. Bloodies and Mimosas were terrific and market priced fairly. Appetizers came out quickly and were perfect for our occasion. Finally, the meal arrived right on time and was beautifully presented and tasted even better! Our friends thought it was a great place to meet up/ catch up and celebrate. I would highly recommend Del Frisco Grill to anyone looking for a moderately priced nice dining experience.
Unexpectedly good! Every item that cam out of this kitchen was better then the next.
It's no easy making perfect chunky mashed potatoes, but they did. The chicken, avocado lettuce salad in a whole wheat tortilla wrap transcended me with oodles of avocado and just the right amount of mayo. Could live on that item alone.
Their ground filet burger with brioche bun looked like heaven with the crispy parmesan fries but were gobbled up so swiftly I did not manage to get a taste.
Their basic hamburger was gourmet class but once they doused it with their version of McDonalds secret sauce (which really makes even a bad burger taste good) then this really became a very special burger.
This place is a definite must!
I have eaten at Del Frisco's in Dallas, and Las Vegas, and the steaks have also been amazing. My steak at this location - - bone in filet, was rather bland (no flavor). The other non-steak items which the others got (scallops, sole) were good, but the steak was disappointing.
Our waitress Annie was amazing. I've been here few times before but never had a waitress like Annie who was very personable and her recommendations were spot on. She even offered the rewards program which I've never gotten before. Thank you Annie for a great dinner especially for my parents because it was their first time. Definitely will go back and hopefully see her again.
Great food as usual from this chain. This was my first time at the Irvine location and was worth every penny. We came here after a movie at the theater next door and had an early lunch. Their lunch menu is much smaller than the dinner menu so don't expect a huge variety. What they did have on offer was plenty to choose from for us and was all a great value.
