We love Del Frisco! We've never had a bad meal...and the service is always exceptional. Honestly!
Friday night - rib eye, cocktails, great server - Dakota, terrific manager - Chris... wonderful place to unwind, end the week, kick-off weekend - go to steak place!
Service was excellent, food excellent, drinks a bit pricey.
We dine out often in Newport Beach and surrounding areas. Hands down, the service on Wednesday was well beyond what we experience elsewhere - and for less. A great value. My rib dinner was delicious, falling off the bone. Everyone in our group was super happy. Thank you to our server Dakota who did an excellent job at keeping us happy.
We like everything!!
We always enjoy Del Frisco’s. The food never disappoints. Emily was very attentive but wasn’t pushing us along either. The bar service was a bit slow this time.
Food and service were amazing as always. Ask for Claudia. She is fantastic. Also, the charcuterie board was a really great find!
As good as always. Service was even more exceptional this time. The food options are always great. The deviled eggs are great and the salmon was perfect.
Birthday celebration. It was great David, our service was extremely kind and patient!
Good experience overrall. My dad's steak though was more medium than medium rare. Side portions (to share) are pretty small compared to other high end steak restaurants. Wish they were a little bigger because sharing for 3 didn't leave much for each person. Corkage a bit steep at $25 per bottle but ok...no big deal. Brussels were fantastic. Mac and Cheese was definately under seasoned and we needed to add a bit of sale. Shrimp cocktail was great.
This is the place to go with a business associate, a date, or your family as a special treat. Overall the food was very good, although I was disappointed with the small portion size of the appetizer we tried, the cheesesteak egg rolls. I ordered the chicken as my entree, which was nicely prepared, but the roasted carrots that came on the plate were so undercooked that I barely could cut them with a steak knife. Everyone at the table overall liked their food very much. The house salad comes with an excellent vinaigrette, asparagus was perfect, steaks impeccable. Coconut cream pie was wonderful, but the crust was too hard to cut with a fork. Our server was pleasant, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The used dishes between courses were whisked away by two men who appeared at our table like genies each time. Very professional and well-trained wait staff. The restaurant is spacious, warm and welcoming. It's nicely decorated as well as comfortable.
Great service, nice food. I definitely recommend. Nice place for a family celebration, business affair or simple dinner.
Exceptional service. Good food.
Pleasant service and atmosphere. Food quality and presentation was inviting we will be back again
We had a super server. She was fantastic. We will surely be back to Del Frisco's.
It was our anniversary dinner, but no one acknowledged that:( We did write that on the reservation but maybe they don’t do anything for special occasions anymore?? Our waiter was excellent and most of the dinner was tasty although one filet was a bit undercooked and the other was overcooked even though they were both ordered medium. Usually their steaks and filets are great and we’re the reason we came, so that part was a little disappointing. The filets just weren’t that great overall this time.
The server couldn’t open our bottle of wine. She ended up breaking the cork trying to get it out. Then while pouring it she spilt wine all over the table. My steak was cooked perfect but was way over seasoned. Every bite was filled with black pepper. Will not go back to the Irvine location.
Valentines night special menu, amazing as always, I have been gluten free for 13 years and found this is a safe place to eat. Don’t tell them I told you because it is not on the menu but they will make vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and strawberry. That’s a big deal if you are gluten free and every desert is gluten based. We have eaten here several times. Chris the manager has checked in on us both times and has even jumped in to service us. This time our waiter was Ethen who was very friendly, personable and on top of the service.
Nicely done special menu. Reserved outside and they graciously moved us inside and even into an area that was not so loud. Very fast dinner service. Steak was prepared exactly as requested. Cauliflower could have been cooked more. Desserts were fabulous and again served promptly. Very attentive drink service with refills throughout the meal.
had an amazing time, service was great and food was delicious
Artichoke Beignet, Brussel Sprouts, and Coconut Creme Pie tasty
For a steak house that was the most disappointing of the meal. I had the filet and it was something I could have gotten any where. My wife's ribeye was tough. The best part of the meal was the coconut cream pie and the wine.
We loved the environment. The location is great because it's right in the middle of everything. Shops, restaurants, and movies. I mean the Irvine Spectrum is where the action is. The ambience & vibe of the restaurant was great. The service was wonderful. We loved our server. However, the food was a bit bland. We had the rib eyes ($47 each) & the truffle mac N cheese. The only thing I could taste were the bread crumbs on that dish, but the cheesesteak egg rolls were good . Although we didn't care much for the food, but everything was great.
Awesome staff and delicious food
We love this place. Food is amazing and there is something for everyone to eat. Brussels sprouts are to die for. They should have a cooking class. I would pay. Thank you for your service as well. Everyone working there are so attentive. Atmosphere is cozy.
Dakota was a great server and made my birthday experience very memorable !! We Will definitely be coming back to dine with him again
We had a great evening with food and drinks. The private room was fantastic! We were able to talk and hear each other. Would recommend that room for a small gathering.
Known for pricey steaks and a la carte sides which can drive a meal price into serious double digits, Del Frisco's offers some excellent and reasonably priced lunch items. These are led by their grilled cheeseburger - a delicious upscale 'double double' with fries- it's hard to beat. The shaved steak sandwich, a generous 'french dip' served on fresh ciabatta, is also easily worth the price and is not to be missed. The appetizers are also delicious, including the ahi tacos, artichoke beignets and truffled deviled eggs
Service is nearly always impeccable and attentive, without being bothersome.
The caveat is the cost of alcohol. The wine list, although extensive, is prohibitively priced, the corkage fee is at the highest level in the area, and cocktails and wine by the glass similarly offer no deal. A relaxing dinner (or lunch) cost is easily eclipsed by the wine or drink cost - this should be a consideration for the management.
Awesome meal and service
Unfortunately this visit to deL
Friscos was not enjoyable. From the appetizer to the filet mignon, all
Of the food was way too salty. Service was great, food was terrible.
Called just about everywhere in the OC for a large party reservation for my fiancé’s surprise birthday dinner. Everyone wanted to charge me a ridiculous deposit and required a set menu. Del Frisco’s not only made the reservation experience easy, but having never been they blew my mind with the service! They put us in a private dining area and the experience was exceptional! My fiancé was so surprised and we had the best time! Thank you so much Del Frisco’s!
The service was impeccable and the food was delicious!!!!
Excellent service from Dakota and Jess!
The server was excellent. The food, unremarkable. The Lemon dill salmon, what sauce? Literally less than a teaspoon of watery dill, and some cream that had no flavor. The mashed were not hot and no seasoning. Two of us had it. The pressed chicken, again, is the chef afraid of seasonings? Bland. No color on the plate. My fiends filet, basic, I can get it anywhere. The desserts seemed to be third party not made in house. Literally a teaspoon of whipped cream on the chocolate cake. The appetizers were enjoyable, though the cheesesteak egg tops were more cheese than substance. Runny and greasy.
A pass on revisiting.
Reserve a booth table in the bar area for a quiet business lunch.
Great food and exceptional service. The steak salad was awesome!
