Great food, pricey but justified
Very nice outdoor experience
Garrett, the server, was awesome! From the beverage recommendation to that of the cuisine, his attention to detail and the customer was the best!
It was a birthday dinner. The food was great. They gave us a complimentary dessert. No complaints at all.
Always a pleasure having dinner here! Great ambiance, delicious food and good service.
We love the food. The staff the drinks. There is a amazing view of The city. I highly recommend
It was perfect
Sad to say, I was pretty disappointed with the food. Not sure where to start, so let's take it from the top. The artichoke app wasn't bad, neither was the mushroom flatbread, and the crab cake was very good, especially with the sauce it came with. The tuna tacos tasted(?) boring. Deviled eggs were ok, but not memorable.
My son ordered the mac and cheese and immediately said he couldn't eat it after 1 bite. I assumed he was being a picky 8 y.o., until I tried it. He was right... The garlic was overwhelming. That can't be the recipe.
The bread service came after the appetizers. When it did arrive it was lukewarm on the outside and cold inside.
I ordered the steak frites, and it reminded me of a waffle house, road trip, breakfast steak, and not in a good way. My kid took a bite and said it felt like eating milk duds. I was impressed with his description since it was spot on.
I asked our server, who was always eager to make things right, if maybe medium rare isn't the right temp for that particular cut. He said they don't make recommendations, which is fine, and offered to replace it. So I asked for my old go to, NY strip. That was sold out.
Strange because this was brunch and they just opened, but I went for the sirloin. It was the same pale gray color, not the good char I'm used to and equally as uninteresting and bland, tho not as "tooth some".
I have memories of excellent steaks at Del Frisco Double Eagle from my Philly days which is why I chose this restaurant, but there may be a huge disconnect between these brands. Or maybe we chose the wrong day.
The server was rude when my husband asked what type of steak was on the menu. They moved us from the original table to another table, which was odd. The manager was polite. And the food was very good!
Website description was misleading. Not recommended for a special night out.
I would highly recommend this place. The truffle Mac was amazing and you can ask for a lobster Mac and cheese which was delicious. Our waitress Samantha was incredible with our group of 9
It was a Birthday dinner. The Manager, Glen, was very accommodating, no our waiter, Sam, was attentive and friendly. The sides were delicious though the main courses has some opportunities
I wish I got our waitresses name but she was amazing. So kind to our toddler. The food is consistent and awesome.
Very good spot for lunch with outdoor seating that provides the killer view. Very good food, excellent service.
We went for a celebratory lunch before taking my son back to college. He ordered filet mignon and I ordered a top sirloin. Our waiter returns to the table to say there is no sirloin cut at this time, so I opted for filet also. Patrick returns again to say there is only one. ONE FILET MIGNON AT A STEAKHOUSE AT LUNCHTIME. Of course I wanted my son to have it as this meal was for him. I ordered salmon, medium well. It was nearly raw inside, but since it was my 3rd choice and we had already had to send my son’s (raw!) steak back to be prepared medium rare, I ate the edges of the fish only. Very disappointing.
I've been going to this restaurant since it opened up and loved it. I guess with COVID a lot of things changed, but what I was mostly disappointed with is the staff. This place had the best GM, bartenders and waiters. Where did they all go and all at once is a mystery. But the worst part is that the new GM is a snob and doesn't know how to talk to people. I am not going into it, but he should have been trained by his predecessor. Not sure where I will be returning...and will not be recommending it at this time because there are other good places in Hoboken with much better service.
Service was great and the food was delicious. I will remember how good the nutella bread pudding was.. wow!
It’s was okay but my sever never really paid attention to us even when trying to flag them down I had to get out of the chair 3 times to get him.
Slow service. Food was very good and didn’t take long. Server was un attentive and never came to check on our meals which happened to be very good.
The steak was little tuff & they forgot the happy Birthday
Been here several times for work-related dinners, tonight came with my wife for dinner. The food is always exceptional, service is great, and we can actually hear each other speak in the restaurant. My favorite spot in Hoboken.
Celebrated a friend's birthday here, food was subpar nothing extravagant for the extravagant price you're paying. Flies flew into my wine twice, husband's scotch was watered down and we kept having to approach waitress instead of her approaching us. Mashed potatoes were also pretty tasteless, how do you mess up mash? Anyhoo, I'm sure this place was better pre-pandemic..I hope.
We have eaten at the restaurant many times over the years. We have enjoyed its' better days. It has now reached a real and more than perceptible decline in attention to details, lack of polish and at times food is slipping in temperature, quality and freshness., staff is either inexperienced, bored, lost in the service timing or careless ... except for the host and bar staff, all are usually pleasant.
Overcooked broccoli and stale French fries served cool and soggy would be an example. Very disappointing for $90 per person, overall. Location is great ... but management needs to re-eval what goes on there in the late afternoons and early evenings. No, I can not really say it is enjoyable at this point.
Always a favorite restaurant. Their food is consistently good, the menu has a great selection for any palate. At this particular location in Hoboken I just have to say the staff is wonderful, courteous, attentive and professional. It makes going there that much more pleasant.
Outdoor seating was too close to a food truck’s exhaust fumes. Ruined the meal
This place just isn’t very good. It’s appeal is that it comes off as one of the nicer restaurants in Hoboken that also happens to be on the water.
The restaurant itself inside visually seems alright but doesn’t take advantage of the water or the view as you cannot see either from the inside.
For whatever reason the few times I did come here which also happened to be the summer the temperature inside the restaurant always feels warmer inside than outside. You start to sweat and you look around and can tell you’re not the only one. Keep in mind the place was not packed nor was it extremely hot outside as it was later in the night.
The food at times can be inedible. I’m not sure anything here is every made fresh. French fries came out soggy and cold with Parmesan dumped on the top.
The roasted chicken was disgusting. It tasted very old and weird and even looked unsafe to eat.
I’ve been here four or five times over the last few years, just far apart each time to forget my previous experience but every time I’ve gone here I left unsatisfied. I will never come here again and I suggest you look elsewhere as there are plenty of other options in the area. Do yourself a favor, thank me later.
Only a 4 minute walk from the Hoboken train & PATH station where your stroll to the restaurant provides stunning views of the Hudson & NYC. We sat inside at a booth however tables in the bar area offer additional views of NYC. Cocktails were delivered in a timely manner & were reasonable at $12.
Service was friendly & attentive. Both the Caesar & Kale salads were cold & crisp and properly dressed. Steaks were as ordered although I would have liked more "crust" on my filet. Only grumble is the French Fries were not thin enough and appeared to be just regular frozen fries - not hand-cut.
The perfect meeting place for friends living in NJ & NYC. We will be back.
great spot and food was very good, will definitely go again
There were flies everywhere - so gross
Nice location though difficult parking. Food is very good and priced fairly reasonable. The service is not up to par with a normal steakhouse. It's slow and pretty inattentive compared to what you would expect in this price category. Cheesesteak egg rolls remain the best thing on the menu. Can't get enough of those.
Steak knives are not sharp. Sever was nice. Steak was cooked OK but expected better.
Lovely views of Manhattan. Superb food and service. Pricey but worth it!
Martinis were very small. Food was average. Service was spotty.
Everything was perfect the crab stuffed shrimp special add on was so good!
Great for a quick bite or date night! Always a fun night out
For Delfrisco’s the steak was not to the standard snd taste it normally has been. The drinks were delicious but was disappointed with the food.
The dinner was great. Food was very tasty ....................
Food has gone downhill. Cold fries and over cooked steak..
I love the open air kitchen view when seated almost anywhere in this restaurant. The waitress was knowledgeable and I appreciated that it was a team effort to have the food come and go from the table with reasonable precision. The entrees did take a little longer than normal but we came at high tide, so understood that it can be challenging for even the most efficient of staff to keep up with demand. I got the filet mignon and it was worth every penny! The mash potatoes needed one sprinkle of salt, otherwise it was a fabulous meal and lively atmosphere for post pandemic posturing-
Best food ever
