Del Frisco's Grille - Fort Worth
Made a reservation for early evening since it was a celebration dinner for our daughter's birthday on a Saturday. The table we requested on the mezzanine was ready at our arrival, seating was immediate at reservation time, and service was just outstanding throughout our dinner. Each of our meals exceeded our expectations, with steaks cooked exactly as ordered. Would recommend the Grille to anyone visiting the Sundance Square !
It has been awhile since we have been in your restaurant. We had a relative from out of town and we were excited to come to your restaurant. It seemed to us, across the board, that the quality of the experience had diminished since our last visit. The chips were stale, the scallops were tiny and tough, and the service was rushed. While the coconut cream pie was still good, the chocolate molten cake was dry and and not warm. It was an average experience and we cannot recommend your restaurant to friends.
Awesome service by Heather. General Manager was great and she seated us at a table with a view of the square. Loved the steak which was seasoned perfectly and the lemon doberge cake was delicious. Good wine selection at a fair price point too. Thanks for a wonderful evening. Can’t wait to go back.
Friendly and thoughtful service- staff was aware we were going to attend the Symphony had us finished in time. The steak salad was excellent and easily fed two of us. The three of us shared two desserts with
Some left over. Very generous servings on everything. A beautiful experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend!!
This was my very first time visiting Del Frisco's Grille and I have to say I was very pleased with the food, service and environment! I will definitely be visiting Del Frisco's Grille in the near future.
Nice evening for Mother’s Day
I ordered a kale salad but it was mostly a spinach salad.
Everything was great. The girls up front who check you in were very nice. Food and drinks were good. Waiter was awesome but he kept forgetting my drink. Other than that he was friendly, clean cut and had great things to say about the quality of the food. Looks like he really enjoys his job. I will be going back.
Outstanding service and great food! It was a perfect Mother's Day. We were well taken care of. Would definitely return.
This is a great place to eat. This was the first time dine for my family. The only negative thought is related to how long it took to get our desert. Almost an hour after we initially placed our order. The manager made up for it, but it seems like our waiter forgot about us after a while.
I have visited Del Friscos, previously, but never on a holiday. I've enjoyed my previous experiences, but dining on Mother's Day was a "different" experience. The menu was limited because of the holiday and the place was extremely loud. Our wait staff was attentive and the food was still good. I think I'll stick to dining there on a regular day.
Family had a great time for Mother's Day. Made a reservation, arrived at the restaurant and was seated immediately.
The waiter was great and it was nice of them to accommodate an extra guest on a holiday.
It was absolutely amazing!! This was our first time to Del Frisco’s Grille, but we will definitely be back.
It was really busy tonight with lots of events (prom, graduations, etc) so the service was a little slow (compared to normal) but still good. My stroganoff was a little salty but good. It was our anniversary so we had a free dessert and the coconut cream pie was out of this world.
Possibly the best food for lite fare there is. It is also a great value.
Our waiter was fantastic! Everything was fabulous!
We had a lovely dinner to celebrate our son’s graduation. We had family in from Columbia. Enjoyed the grilled artichoke appetizer and surf and turf. All food was delicious and we are foodies! Service excellent. We ll be back.
This was my first time at Del Frisco’s. I made a reservation for our 3 year anniversary. I was expecting fine dining, an intimate setting. Shocking to say when we arrived it was the opposite, people where dressed in jean shorts, we were sat next to the kitchen and the noise level well let’s just say at times we had to raise our voice to hear each other. Again this was on a Tuesday but the time was 7:30 pm BIG NOTE! online they advertise Wagyu and dry aged steaks, when I arrived i only had the option of about 5 steaks when I asked if there was a more diverse options for steaks they said no, only during promotions. So just a heads up for steak fans. All in all this place was Ehh not worth the price, and the experience was bland
This is a nice grill to enjoy sandwiches or even a nice steak. Desserts were awesome.
Beautiful location, wonderful service, and great food. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
We sat in the back upstairs and it was freezing. Even big guys were cold. One persons steak was brought out noticeably later than everyone else’s entree. I have never sat in the far back upstairs before but it feels like the tables are too jam packed in there.
The food was excellent and the service was great. Noise level not bad.
We ordered the surf and turf special for my husband and I to share. The steak was good, not great, but the lobster tail was awful! The crab It was stuffed with was mediocre and the actual lobster tail was so tough and chewy I didn’t even finish It. For $74 we were VERY disappointed. We have been to DFG numerous times but they last few have been pretty bad. We may not be back.
Celebrating 24th anniversary with friends. Shelly, our waitress, was absolutely awesome. Very attentive, good with conversation and suggestions. The manager was good as well. The food and drinks did not disappoint
and the service was spot on. Thank you for a great evening, we will return.
The service was great. The lunch was delicious. The prices are a little high, but the experience was delightful, so I didn't mind.
The food was great! The service was wonderful! There were some loud people near the bar area that were slightly disruptive. However, we had an overall great experience. The only complaint I have was that I wish the entrees came with a salad.
Great food & service. Katey fantastic, Chef & GM visited too.
The Quinn burger could use a little less blue cheese. It was a little overpowering
The ribs were incredible!!
Food was superb! Our server, Taylor was first class!
I was disappointed that the restaurant didn’t read the comments I had left in regards to celebrating the birthday of my wife. I would have loved to see some acknowledgement of the note that I added in some way when we arrived, sat down at the table, or during our meal. In addition, the restaurant atmosphere was especially loud on a Tuesday evening which made our conversation difficult.
My wife and I went for the short rib stroganoff, which has been our favorite date night meal for years. DFG has continually reduced the portion size of the meat, while not reducing the price (I believe it has gone up). Still delicious, but no longer worth it to us.
Great location and excellent food. You cannot go wrong with DelFrisco’s in downtown Fort Worth.
Food was good, price fair. Service ok. I expected more. We had a reservation. They sat us at a table right next to the door which exited to the patio and was constantly being opened. We asked to be moved and we were. I can’t imagine any customer being okay having their hair blown around every 10 seconds. It’s a nice restaurant. They should get rid of the table. It really just gives a poor impression being seated there. Then our waiter seemed to be hiding most of the evening. He wasn’t unpleasant but he wasn’t friendly or happy we were there. My husbands steak (bone in filet) was excellent. My 8 oz filet was good, average. Deviled eggs were great. Cesar salad was basic, nothing special. Zucchini with Parmesan was very good.
We went in to have dinner and drinks for a girls night and had great service, delicious food and some good cocktails!
Our first time here in a few years, but it was a better experience than the last time.
12 oz filet, mashed potatoes, and wedge salad was enough for my wife and I to split; the filet was done perfectly and was outstanding.
Personally I would like to see more wine selections in the $40-$45 price range (we had a $60 Hess that was also very good).
Overall, a good night. This place can get busy but not too noisy.
Very nice place, service was good, although at one point, our waiter had not come by for ten minutes or so, and we had early reservation, it was not busy until we were about to leave. But, for most part, service was very good. However, I can’t give overall rating of more than 3-4 stars for one very important reason. My girlfriend’s steak was ordered medium well, and it was cooked no more than medium. Very pink and juice flowing. They cooked it again and it came back still too pink for her liking, although she ate it anyway. This is not good! We don’t get to enjoy our meal together unless I eat mine cool. And, it seemed, for no more adjustment made to the steak, it was close to ten minutes before it was returned.
So.... I feel like, based on this truthful review, we could be given some sort of compensation for a return visit. Otherwise, it’s doubtful we will be back. And, of course, friends will learn of our experience! Thank You!
It was a birthday dinner and everything we ordered was exceptional! We were offered a complimentary dessert and split the coconut cream pie, it too was outstanding!!! One of the best meals we’ve had in awhile!!!
