Our first time at Del Friscos, and won’t be back. Our server was very inattentive and forgot several items we ordered. Food came out extremely fast and tasted as if it had sat under heating lamps for hours. Terrible experience!
Came here for Father’s day..had a Reservation at 3 and still waited 20 mins to be seated.. my husband and i order the cheesesteak egg rolls which i will say they were very delicious.. however, i ordered a medium filet mignon with mash potatoes, and my filet was well done and the mash potatoes were bland.. It took forever to get a waiter to assist me to re-fire another filet which took another 20 mins.. My husband did order a ny strip medium and his was done correct and the mac and cheese was okay he said nothing special.. overall wasn’t too happy with the service the waiter hardly ever came over and had to wave down other waiters to assist us.. probably won’t be coming back the food wasn’t up to par with the price.
Awesome staff, good food! They close at 11:00 pm on Saturday but let us stay until almost 12:00. A world class staff.
Excellent service .... spectacular food ... all very good ..
Our steaks were over cooked, sent back.,. then twice the steaks came back well done , then raw in the middle.
Great service, amazing food. The staff all helped me propose to my fiancé. It was an amazing experience
Great food and environment
Great food, and they comped my friends dessert for her birthday.
Great food and great service from all of the staff. My server Jeff was awesome and created a very relaxed atmosphere, I'd be more than happy to sit in his section again.
Our experience at Del Frisco's in downtown Fort Worth was to say the least..... disappointing. After reading many positive reviews we decided to give the restaurant a try for our 3 year Anniversary. On arrival the crowd ranged from customers dressed in business attire to basketball shorts and t-shirts. The noise level was very loud and not what we were expecting given their reputation as a fine dinning establishment. The waiting staff was very polite and friendly which, on a good note, was very welcoming. We ordered 1 drink each (Moscow Mules) from the bar, one of which was bearable to drink and tasted decent. The other was completely off and tasted like a kick in the face. How they could have such a variance in drinks made simultaneously made no sense at all. Next we ordered the Crab cake for a starter under the recommendation of our waiter and the dish was very delicious. This was the false hope we never needed... My Fiancé ordered the Filet Mignon with broccoli on the side. The Filet came out and was fried to a burnt crisp on the outside with the inside still undercooked... little less heat next time bud, and the broccoli was way undercooked and tasteless. I ordered the Mix and Match, Lobster tail and crab stuffed shrimp with truffle mac and cheese. The Lobster came out over cooked, rubbery and noticeably pre-frozen. The shrimp were decent and the mac and cheese was not. Needless to say... If you want a VERY overpriced meal that leaves you unsatisfied and still hungry later, this is the place for you. However if you enjoy food and have culinary expectations, save the money and go elsewhere.
We prefer to dine upstairs but it is closed due to lack of staff. Our filets were slightly overcooked but still delicious.
The Grille really needs a dress code badly. Shorts and t shirts? Really? The tap was not working and they don't carry Topo Chico. When we asked for vodka/sparkling water instead they insisted we buy the whole bottle of San Pellegrino to make one drink. Not cool! Also, no longer validating valet parking downtown either.
I know Covid has hurt the business but they have really gone down a few notches in my book. The food was really good though.
Delicious food, great service in a delightful atmosphere. So good to be back!
Standout service from server Quintin and bartender Zak'
We love this restaurant. We came here frequently before Covid, but this is the first time we’ve eaten inside in over a year. And it’s just as good as it always was. Highly recommend.
Overall, a very good restaurant. Nice atmosphere, good to excellent service, and very good food.
Sat upstairs at a table by the windows and that was very nice. Waiter was attentive and competent. Drinks were overpriced. My steak was a fillet and not as tender as we make at home. Had to salt the mashed potatoes. Corn chowder was also kind of bland. The steak special was just the steak priced as it is on the menu then added 3 shrimp at $6.00 each plus some crab meat for $3.00. Won’t be going back.
We dined here on 6/12/21 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have dined at this location many times, primarily due to the quality of their steaks. However, they have changed the menu and evidently are offering meat of lesser quality. I ordered the New York Strip cooked medium (as I have many times before), and although it was cooked perfectly with a warm pink center, it was so tough I couldn't cut it with a knife -- much less chew it. Our server exchanged my flat blade steak knife for a serrated knife, and even that didn't help. He sent the steak back to the kitchen and offered me several alternatives, but I was so disappointed that I gave up.
Burned chicken sandwich, husband didn’t get the right burger, iced tea took 22 minutes to get, just awful first experience.
We’ve been to this location multiple times and have always enjoyed the setting and service and typically the food. This is our first time back following the Covid era and we were extremely disappointed in the steaks. Both of us had to return them because they were cooked incorrectly and they just did not taste the same as before. Unfortunately very disappointed. May return for a casual drink but not to eat anytime soon that’s for sure.
We were at Del Friscos Grille for a birthday celebration. The AC wasn’t working upstairs so we were warm and uncomfortable throughout our meal. Our server was a nice girl, but not what we usually get when eating there. We had to ask several times for our drinks to be refilled, to have empty plates cleared, the sides didn’t come with serving spoons, we had to ask for clean forks after salads, not all of our food came out at one time, and the one person that didn’t get their food for about 10 minutes after everyone else. Everything just seemed not up to the typical standards.
Great ambience. Superb wait staff. Bartender was great, our waiter Olivia was delightful.
The food was splendid. Great place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal.
The Maitre’D thanked us by name on departure. Food is outstanding, service is exceptional. They make you feel as though you’ve been coming there for years.
I booked a reservation for our anniversary, no one even mentioned nor asked if we were celebrating anything...
We had reservations for 11 to celebrate a retirement. Everything that could go wrong did. Service was extremely slow or we were forgotten, our waitress seemed to be either new or pulled from somewhere else to take our group, food orders were messed up and three meals were brought out much later then the others due to one accidentally going to another table and another apparently dropped. The wine was poured with spillage (I had to show the waitress how to pour the wine) and twice my friend had his beer delivered, poured into his glass and then the rest of the bottle taken back. So twice he did not get his entire bottle of beer. We go to this restaurant often and never had we had service or an experience like this. We don’t blame the waitress as she was flustered and was working to do her best given the situation. We were given two orders of egg rolls on the house for 11 people when they first sat us down to compensate for the confusion in our reservations. After the horrible service all night we did get one bottle of wine for free. I honestly can’t express how bad it all was and seriously shocked at how little was done to rectify. My friend who organized had even spoken with someone prior as was assured that we would be able to do separate checks. Once there, we were told no separate checks due to the group being over 9 people, which they knew when reservations were made. We paid the 20% gratuity that is automatically added and even added additional tip for the waitress since we felt bad for her. I’m mad at myself as I should have demanded to speak to the manager, but I guess I was naive thinking that management would have stepped up. Very Disappointed.
Great experience and treated very well!! Excellent experience!
Excellent server in Jessica; food was excellent as always
Masters degree Graduation
Food was great the daily special was excellent and service was excellent. You get what you pay for higher than most places, but much nicer too.
We were celebrating my granddaughter's graduation. We had a party of 9. The server was very nice and tried to please each of us. We had various meals and everyone enjoyed them.
I think the restaurant needs a little upgrading. It is staring to look warn. One bathroom for male and female is not enough. People have to stand and wait.
We were pretty disappointed overall. The service was slow, and our server didn’t come over until at least 10 minutes after we were sat. The food was only “okay” and they were out of quite a few wine and menu options.
First of all, you're not going to find a better dirty martini anywhere.... Absolutely my favorite place to enjoy them. My husband enjoys the refreshing Youth Serum each time. We arrived on time for our reservation and I was seated right away while my husband parked our vehicle. The restaurant wasn't very busy yet, which is why I was very surprised that our server, or for that matter anyone, had not approached me to see if I might want a drink. Even after my husband arrived, we still sat there for a few minutes feeling invisible. :( Cue Zach, he approached our table and immediately apologized for the service, or lack of service, and quickly got our drinks and appetizer (Charcuterie Board) going. Our server Noah quickly followed up and made sure to take good care of us. My husband enjoyed a delicious ribeye and I enjoyed the Mediterranean Shrimp dish. We shared the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Salad. Noah even made sure they plated the salad on two plates for us. We enjoyed an espresso and cappuccino with their new chocolate cake. As usual, the food and drinks were amazing and thanks to Zach and Noah so was the service.

This was my first visit to Del Frisco's and it definitely didn't disappoint.
We ordered the burger and French dip and they were delicious. But the most fabulous thing was our dessert: the coconut cream pie! David was our server and he is the best! Great service, food and atmosphere. Will definitely dine again soon!
We love the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls! The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice!
I have happily dined at Del Frisco Grille before, but unfortunately, last nights dinner was pretty disappointing. Although our server was phenomenal (he was very attentive, courteous, kept our drinks full, etc), the kitchen mixed my husband and I’s orders up. He ended up with a very tough filet, while I ended up with a medium rare sirloin. Our server was very quick to try rectify the situation, but we hadn’t eaten all day and didn’t want to wait longer. The mashed potatoes were way over salted, while the mac&cheese was very much lacking flavor. It was just not great. The atmosphere was very nice and all the staff was extremely friendly. The kitchen just needs some help!
Service was really nice and friendly. Never had to wait for a refill on my drink. My food was cold when I received it, but my wife’s was not, but dessert was delicious.
Great option for Fort Worth visitors!
We choose to move to an outside table having been told it was in the sun. We thought it wouldn’t be a problem as we were going to ask them to lower the shade. It turns out it could not be lowered.
The waiter (not our waitress) who served our son a beer, spilled it on him and while he said he was sorry, he did not offer to help him clean it up.
When a side order of hot, sweet potato fries was spilled all over the high chair (thank goodness our granddaughter had moved to the bench to sit between her parents) it was an oh I’m sorry and we all helped clean them up. The waiter(again not our waitress) said they would bring him a new plate of French fries and did not. We had to ask....twice. Then a waiter dropped a wine glass at our feet which went everywhere. By this time we were “done”.
We go to the Del Grille in Plano and they are amazing. This place is not!!!
When the bill came, nothing was taken off as an I’m sorry for the horrible service tonight. My husband talked with the manager and she never even attempted to make up for the horrible service in any way. 225.00 dollars later we are not impressed and will never go back there or recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Del Frisco's Grille has an excellent menu with the steak selections you would expect to incredible side dishes and plenty of items for non-meat eaters to enjoy as well. Our waiter was personable and everyone in our party of six enjoyed their food choices. The truffled mac and cheese was a big hit!
I ordered a steak Medium+
It was cooked well done and had to be recooked. I ordered an extra side that got cold while I waited for my steak. There was no offer by the server or management to get me something while I waited.
This was our first visit ever and to celebrate my moms birthday. Very poor experience!
