Del Frisco’s Grille - Fort Lauderdale
Everything was good but nothing was outstanding
The waitress was unable to serve main course to one of our guests due to a mishap in the kitchen. We waited twenty minutes for the persons meal to be redone while the rest of us had our food. For their prices they should have taken all food back and served us all at the same time. This is marketed as a high end restaurant. This is not how high end restaurants treat their customers. We’ were compensated for the mishap but it didn’t change the overall experience.
We always have a great meal Adele Frisco’s. I love the ambience. It’s full of energy and it’s a fun place to go. I also love the menu choices!
Birthday great service
All around great restaurant for business or leisure outings.
What a wonderful setting. Doors open in the bar to the outside and yet not too loud. All servers from the bar tenders to the waitstaff were so upbeat and professional. The food was outstanding! My husband got the traditional beef stroganoff, so unusual, best he ever had. I got the trio of filet mignon special, truly delicious. All 5 star!!
The food was wonderful. Megan, our server was awesome and helped us w suggesting bars to go to while in town. She is super nice and a great asset to your restaurant.
This is my second time here, and I saw a string of bad reviews recently so I was a bit worried. Maybe it was due to the holidays for them but my recent Saturday night 7:45pm visit was just as good as the last time. My server was not as good, but still great, food was fantastic, no waiting for my reservation time, drink orders came in fast. Everything was great. Will continue to come back.
Beautiful restaurant (love the interior design and lighting) with a fabulous wine list and consistently good food but our most recent visit was made all the more enjoyable by our fantastic waiter Georges. Georges provided top notch service with a warm manner that instantly made him feel like an old friend. Looking forward to our next visit.
Great atmosphere, good service, food was suspect- over cooked and kind of bland
Restaurant was really smoky. They finally opened windows. Server was nice but bread plates on the table with no bread offered. I asked and was told, "You have to request it".
No tablecloths. All hard surfaces. A bit too noisy to be relaxing. Food tasted great. Ambiance wasn't worth the time.
On January 2nd we celebrated DJ Don Bishops 60th birthday, and usually on Jan 2nd everyone is done with all of the parting, but Del Frisco’s did not miss a beat and kept the part going. Thank you! Awesome time!
Service was lousy! Took them 20 minutes to inform us the beer we ordered was out of stock, we asked for wine, 20 more minutes, food came and it was overcooked and we were informed they were out of wine! We asked for condiments and my husband had to go to the kitchen to ask for them because our waiter was MIA... We asked for water, and again, we stood up to serve ourselves because the waitstaff was too busy chatting. As much as I really like their burgers, it was obvious that their manager was not in house.
Affreux...New Year eve
Everything was really bad and I want to chalk that up to the night which was NYE but this is my second try. It just all misses from the food, to the atmosphere and the service. I am very disappointed as the nyc restaurant is great.
Overcooked returned steak entree.
Sat and watched my guests enjoy their entrees.
When my $67 steak was finally served it was rush cooked and cold in center and mediocre.
My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times for both lunch and dinner. We should’ve known when we walked in at 7:25 for our 7:30 reservation when the hostess said there would be a 20 minute wait because a bunch of people just walked in and the kitchen was backed up. We decided to opt for a table in the bar rather than wait 20 minutes even though half the restaurant was empty. No one came over to us, so after 10 minutes I asked the hostess for our original table back. The meal took over 2 hours on a Sunday, and we didn’t even have dessert. It was one excuse after the next like “the bar is backed up it may take a while for your drink maybe you should switch to wine” meanwhile here’s the wine menu yet I’m not going to return and ask what wine you’d like. Our waiter would disappear for 20 plus minutes at a time, never checked to see if our food was good, had to ask another waiter to clear our table, etc etc When it was time to pay we got another excuse, after an apology, that started with “I would’ve paid more attention to you but given my circumstances...” This is a definite management issue. We were shocked after coming here for lunch as we work right near the location and have dined here for dinner several times as well. This is not what we expect from a high end restaurant.
What a disappointment!!!! One filet & one Rib Eye were sent back- the filet was cooked three times and terrible!!! The waiter could have cared less & it was sooooo loud you couldn’t have a conversation with someone across the table! To top it off, for a birthday celebration, we were given one slice of cake to share for five people- with spoons!!!! It was way overpriced and too loud and sub par food!! Not returning!
My sister and I came to celebrate her birthday and we were not disappointed. The service was great and the food was impeccable! We will definitely be back!.
Love the changes to the menu. The haddock special was outstanding. Server was attentive and knowledge
It is difficult to find Halibut in restaurants. I was very pleased they offered it Saturday night and it was amazing! I will definitely go back.
Our server, Lacey, was both knowledge and fun. Our bartender, Raphael, was a great conversationalist and very attentive. Helen the manager made sure every detail was perfect - highly recommend!
Picked this restaurant without any recommendation and we were not disappointed. It was a Christmas Day dinner for our family and everyone truly enjoyed their meal.
My husband claimed that his Prime Rib was the best he ever had! Our server David was attentive and knowledgeable and knew just when we needed him. All in all the ambience the food the service was just right! Will definitely return next time we are in town.
If you spend $250.00 for a Christmas dinner in a party of 3, I have certain expectations. The food and the service was good, but the decor and the ambiance was poor. I felt like I was sitting in a kitchen with poor seating and the noise level was out of this world. We could not comfortably hold a conversation across the table. In hindsight, I would have rather gone to Grand Lux or Cheesecake Factory -there I know I will have a certain noise level. I tried it and I won't go back. The prices at Del Frisco's Grille are the same as Abe & Louie's in Boca Raton so in the future for a good steak that is where I would go. Christmas dinner was a disappointment this year.
5 of us at our table. 3 of us were very pleased with the appetizer, 2 not so much. Salads were great. Entrees were hit and miss. The winners were scallops, ribs and beef stroganoff. Loser filet mignon, the 2 of us that had it thought it was mediocre at best.
No Christmas decorations or music was a let down on Christmas Eve. Food was fine, but ridiculously expensive.
The food here is delicious and the service is usually great. But last night the service was lacking and absolutely terrible. Our server was not friendly, did not even talk about the specials and at times just disappeared. We had to tell another server to call him so we could order. The food came out in time and was delicious. The one thing I consistently do not like is the hostess/ess situation. We are never greeted and the hostesses lack any kind of personality skills. The 10 times Ive been here they are extremely unfriendly. This is the first impression in a restaurant and its lacking in this one.
Worst service ever by Raphael at the bar tables.
Couldn’t care less about serving us or checking with us or even getting our order. Very very disappointing. Food just OK. Wish we would have chosen somewhere else. Another disappointing restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The service could have made up for some of it but not all
Cooked the steak wrong not once (too rare) , not twice (well done) but three times (too rare and bloody)! The manager bought our meal (as they should) and also gave us a $50 gift card in hopes we will come back (even he was mortified). Uh, no thanks. I gave it away. For a steak restaurant that can’t cook a steak correctly, that is troubling. It was Friday night at 7:00 pm and the place was empty. That should have been my first sign.
The waiter was amazing. All of the food was good except for the steak. Even when they tried again, the steak was very tough and my husband asked for medium but it was well done both times
First impression was too loud music and too cold AC. The server was excellent, food decent. More of a formal business lunch place than cozy meetup with friends.
Celebrated our first year wedding anniversary here. We got complimentary champagne, desert, and a cute card on behalf of the restaurant. Steaks were amazing and truffle Mac & cheese to die for! Will def be returning again.
Good service , good food . Loud large party next to us . Expected this time of year for holiday party .
Excellent service and great food .
1000% better than previous visit! We came the weekend they opened and I’m glad wife suggested a second chance. Steaks outstanding and wine choice (Daou) good for the price.
Only knock; open table had the fall tasting menu but the restaurant wouldn’t honor it. If it’s not in effect take it off! Hate false advertising!
One of my best experiences here. To say service was q
Food quality gone down hill
"I love the relaxed feel of this place . Excellent food and service. Would go back agsin
Great service! Good food.
Thanksgiving dinner was one of the best. Turkey and traditional fairs was cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back.
