Del Frisco’s Grille - Fort Lauderdale
Modern, inviting, stylish and fun, Del Frisco's Grille in Fort Lauderdale takes the classic bar and grill to new heights, drawing inspiration from bold flavors and market-fresh ingredients. The energetic bar creates a buzz throughout the restaurant and sets the stage for an amazing night out.
Always consistently good food and service. Love George our server.
Terrible ambience. Remember this is a Del Frisco Grille. Very casual. Booths. Loud music. We felt like the we were being rushed. Not worth the money for a nice dinner.
The food was excellent and we were hosting a party of six; each person ordered something different and each one was delighted with the choice. THE NOISE is a continuing problem at restaurants; we hope they open up the exterior space for dining as that would mitigate the impact of the noise. Cocktails were excellent and attractively presented; wine list is very good, and food fresh and innovative combinations and spicing. All in all, a very nice evening.
I recently had a Saturday nigh dinner here and it was fantastic. First, the location on Las Olas is great. Parking is pretty easy to find or there is $7 valet, which is not a bad price for the area.
The atmosphere and build out is fantastic. It is a true NYC/Vegas mix of a restaurant feeling. Our server Renan was top notch. One of the best servers I have had in Miami area, ever. Service from everyone was very good though.
As for the food. Great. Miami/Ft. Lauderdale has tons of great food options. Is this the best option in town? No. Is it up there? Right now I would say yes. That is a mix of location, service, being new and really good food. Everything we had tasted great, was brought at the right temperature and we had zero complaints.
short rib beef stroganoff was some of the best short rib I have ever had, the artichoke beignets were amazing, and the lemon cake for dessert was a great send off.
Overall, I have nothing but great things to say. Hopefully this is what the typical diner gets to experience now. I know I will be back.
My wife and I have dined at most of restaurants on las olas as well as many others throughout south Florida. I can say that our experience at Del Frisco’s Grille was exceptional and one of BEST we have had in a long time. Yes, the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were amazing. Our signature cocktails were delicious and our entrees were fantastic and cooked to perfection. But! What made our experience so exceptional was the service we received from our waiter Daniel H! Recently relocated from Hawaii to south Florida his service, charm and attentiveness is the best we have had in years. He is the main reason we can’t wait to come back and will ask for him when we do. He hustled, was funny and had great guidance with what we ordered. He is truly 5 STARS!!!!
Food and staff were amazing. We were in and out within 1 hour even after dessert.
Was excited to try a new spot on Las Olas. Had been to Del Friscos in NYC several times and always loved it so wasn’t sure what to expect with the Grille. We started at the bar and had cocktails. My skinny margarita was perfect and our bartender, Drea, was awesome. She went out of her way to get to know us and was very attentive. We had a reservation at 8 and were seated by the GM who was very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Eric, was awesome. So attentive and great personality. Food was excellent. We had the Philly steak egg rolls, Brussels sprout/kale salad and the filet trio special. Wine was also amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
Nice selections on menu. Noisy but very pretty restaurant . Service was excellent .
I love the relaxed yet fancy feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends mansion . I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Such an awesome environment.
Modern retro feel.
More importantly our steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly.
I got the NY strip and my girlfriend got bone in filet.
Also a great place to just sit at bar to grab cocktails and appetizers.
Will definitely be coming back
The food was great. The music choice throughout the restaurant was odd since we were celebrating Valentine’s Day. Overall it was a good and fun experience.
The ambiance of Del Frisco’s was exceptional. Nice clean layout, beautiful lighting , up to date design. You can definitely tell they’ve put a lot of though into the diners experience upon first entering into the door. The service was pretty quick for it to have been such a busy night. The price was ok but unless you stack up on the Al Carte sides it may not seem like you’re getting much for your money. They can improve in the area of food and desert variety but I’d still come back and recommend!
I guess we expected more from what was billed as a high end dining experience. looks like a good place to hang out at the bar but not a valentine's day experience.
Everything was terrific and it was an enjoyable Valentine’s Day dinner.
Was not aware of a special Valentine’s Day menu. Wasn’t too happy.
All the food was amazing and the service was top-notch. Daniel and Lennick gave incredible service! Best prime ribeye ever! Truffle mac and cheese, VIP martini, cheesesteak egg rolls and chocolate peanut butter pie were awesome!
Ambience is perfection. Service, amazing. Food is quality, perfectly prepared, delicious. Cocktail absolutely wonderful. Definitely going again soon!!
Easy in and out. Met my daughter for a Valentine’s Day lunch. Was seated promptly with a reservation. Food was delicious.
We had a lovely experience. We went on Tuesday to try to beat the Valentine rush. Food was great and cooked to perfection. Service was great and drinks were delicious. Look forward to returning again for another great date.
Food was great but prices were high. I had the 12 oz filet and it was cooked to perfection and more than enough of meat.
Tuna tacos appetizer and our steaks were on point.
Will definitely go back
Ordered prime rib but waiter served ribeye instead. Didn’t make a fuss, ribeye was good but he certainly made a mistake, otherwise enjoyable.
Excellent food and service
Amazing service and delicious food. Thanks Alexa for your extra efforts and pleasant service.
Decor while new andclearly money was spent...lacks warmth and intimacy. Table cloths would go a long way here.
We will not be having dinner there again. Better value and better food at Capital Grille and Chops Lobster bar!
Was pleasantly surprised at the beautiful decor upon entering. We had artichoke fritter appetizers which were delicious, then had the filet mignon which was pretty good but a little tough. My boyfriend had the shortrib pappardelle which was tasty, albeit a little salty, and the pasta a little dry.
We had washed it all down with a nice (pricey) bottle of wine. Found the service inconsistent.
If you don't mind spending the bucks @$200 for 2 give it a try.
The restaurant is beautiful. The service is a 5 star.Other restaurants need To learn from them customer service. The experience was fantastic we went for my sons 17th Birthday and couldn't have asked for a better experience and food.highly reccomend it.!!
The night we had reservations for this new local "hotspot", the Sun Sentinel (our local paper) that morning gave it a very weak review. They unfortunately were correct. The ambiance and service were amazing but the food was seriously lacking. My friends prime rib was tough and cold, and my wife's lobster was mushy. The manager was gracious, and took the items off the bill, but did not deny that the lobster tails were previously frozen. When you thaw a tail too soon before cooking it gets mushy. The Del Friscos brand is not well represented at their Grille product in Ft Lauderdale. The bar scene and appetizers are appealing, but even the 2 steaks we ordered were just OK. If you are going to charge steakhouse prices, then the product needs to be top quality. My advice is go for a drink, but have your dinner some where else.
Top Notch. Del Frisco's maintains its standards at this new restaurant. The steaks and sides were perfect and the service was excellent.
Great place however the noise was so loud we could not talk to our guest. I will not come back fir that reason
It takes the award from Louie Bossi for the loudest dining room in town!
It's a pretty room, though, and large. The menus is varied, with salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, burgers and steaks. We had a very tasty ribeye, overcooked to medium-well from the medium that was ordered, but deliciously charred on the outside. The burger was meh, there are much better in Ft. Lauderdale.
The flatbread had a good chewy feel to the dough.
The wine list is comprehensive, moderate to expensive pricing.
I would go back, once season is over and the crowds die down a bit so it's a bit quieter and you don't have to shout to be heard by your tablemates.
Service was very slow, ruined a surprise. Staff not attentive to needs
overall positive experience, good food, nice location, only the air conditioning was really high and this made the space freezing.
I have eaten there twice before and the food was really good but this past Monday night, it was just really off par.
George was great!
Eric is the best server ever! Love him!
It was a step above. Cheesecake Factory meal. Salad was average nothing special the dressing bland. Prime rib was tough, mashed potatoes cold not even warm. Replacement potatoes tasty. My friend’s Caesar salad adequate her filet not the kind of quality a Capital Grille offers.
Beautiful atmosphere, great team and tasty food!!!!
we were seated on time at a booth which we requested. Beautiful restaurant with excellent food with a vibrant young - upscale crowd. Our server - GEORGE - was outstanding in every way with great suggestions thru out and a great personality - top of the line.
we will be back again soon!
