Del Frisco’s Grille - Fort Lauderdale
The steaks and scallops were amazing but our sides were cold so that was disappointing.
Fantastic steaks in a contemporary beautiful setting. Our server was fantastic. Where work is needed was the support staff who couldn't seem to deliver the right entrees to the right person (our table and others); wrong drinks served at other tables and as we were eating our dessert, which was FABULOUS (molton chocolate cake), another one was brought to our table. Hopefully, they work out the food delivery confusion. Steaks were great, scallops were great, truffle mac and cheese fabulous. Skip the mashed potatoes, which are bland with absolutely no flavor (thanks to our server who took them off our bill). Valet at $7 was overpriced and super slow, so try to avoid that. Overall, a wonderful experience. We will go back and I highly recommend!
Loved the food and atmosphere... Service good. What's not to like
Best Father's Day Brunch! thank you for accommodating my tearful toddler.
Excellent service and food. Enjoyed the whole evening
Celebrated Father’s Day the night before. Super friendly and helpful waitress. Appetizers and entree were excellent. I had the bone in ribeye
I thought desserts were a bit overpriced for their size
It’s a big open area so a bit loud
I will be back
Service was excellent, menu choices were adequate, food prepared exactly as requested - Perfect dinner!
First of all the food was terrible! And the service wasn’t any better. Having dined at other Del Frisco’s in the past, even though this location isn’t a Double Eagle location we still expected more. However the ambiance was okay, the bar was very nice. We won’t dine there again but will probably stop by for drinks.
Helen was an amazing server. Food was good, some of it came out cold, but she fixed immediately and made the evening extremely enjoyable.
Service overall was terrible from the bartender but good from the server, Ryan
Our experience this past weekend at Del Friscos was not good. The location is perfect and the design of the restaurant is incredible. We enjoyed the appetizers ; deviled eggs, guacamole and artichoke beignets. Unfortunately that is all we enjoyed. Two of the entrees had to be returned to the kitchen; the seared tuna special was well done, but ordered medium and the noodles along with the prime beef short rib stroganoff were cold. The wait staff overlooked our table during the extensive wait (about 25 minutes). Once they tried to bring back the dinners we refused them and asked for the check. The manager apologized and offered us dessert, but after another long wait we never received the menus.
Eventually when we were able to get the attention of our waitress we simply asked for the check. The manager did comp the bill, aside from one bottle of wine, and packaged the food to go. We really hope the restaurant can get it together so this doesn't happen again.
Excellent service...excellent food. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Best NY strip steaks in South Florida.
My second time dining here and I will be back.
The steaks Ive had have always been on point. The sides are good but not the best Ive had. The kale salad is excellent!
The wine list is extensive and the sommelier was extremely helpful and allowed us to try several selections before making a decision on a bottle.
Our server was professional yet very personable.
The one improvement they can make is to make the lighting a bit dimmer. WAY too bright in there.
All in all a great experience and excellent food and drinks.
Not great as the New York and Philadelphia location. This one in Fort Lauderdale doesn’t gives the vibe neither the flawless experience of the Del Frisco’s from those cities. Steaks we ordered was ok, atmosphere of a regular steak house. The drinks not great. I had first a Maitai, and it was the worst I ever had, tried the Mojito it was so so. The waitress apologized. Service was ok. Overall, there are many better places then Del Frisco’s Ft Lauderdale. I prefer Morton’s and Capital Grill. Both great service, drinks and food.
First time and I will definitely be back. Got the wings which were unique and flavorful. Crab cake was good. Would try other apps. Got the Rib Eye with upgrade to Mac n Cheese. Both were some of the best ive had in a long time.
Only bad thing was happy hour only available at the bar. Seems silly to make someone walk to the bar.
Timing on food was poor; they tried to serve our entrees to us before we even received salads, then tried to bring them to us again immediately after receiving salads. Steaks were not prepared to our liking and one had to be prepared again. For the money it could have been much better, especially since the restaurant was not busy.
Absolutely delicious, from appetizer to entree to dessert we were all very pleased and the service was very prompt!
Great atmosphere, but food is not that great. Second time I gave it a try and the food is just average.
Great dinner, food is excellent and ambience
Look forward to coming back again
Food was very good and served at the right temperature. Lacey is an excellent server. Hostesses are very friendly.
Great place! A little pricy
We (party of 4) very much enjoyed the ambiance of the place, the service was outstanding providing not only the specials offered but made suggestions that exceeded our tables expectations. Our meals were fantastic and overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Very good food. Too noise for having a conversation . Service too informal for the price you pay as a Del Frisco's upscale restaurants!
Service great. Steak cooked perfect but would have preferred a thicker cut of steak. Restaurant too noisy
My party of four enjoyed our dinners and service was great.
High priced for reasonable quality. The wait staff almost try's too hard with the swarming delivery, but misses the attention to detail like bringing your drink or sides. Too much cost for the value.
Food spicy and not advised. Too much noise. Bad service (drinks never refilled and drinks came after food). Unfortunately after 2 visits, last time.
Even when the place was full, there is someone in control, ant the restaurant run smoothly, menu is ok, didn’t wao!, prices are little expensive, but the places and the service was awesome.
Nice wine chart, will come back!
Visited Delfrisco's recently in NYC and it was great. Found out that we had one Ft Lauderdale and decided to give it a try. The Restaurant is beautiful and ambiance was great. The quality of the wood was very good similar to NYC. Our waiter, Brance was awesome.
I was not impressed with the food at all. We ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls (I think that was what they were called) . They were pretty good. My husband ordered the special the peppercorn steak which I didn't think was a good choice. Who would want a steak crusted in peppercorns. He didn't enjoy his steak. When my steak came to the table and I cut it, it looked medium well however it was still cooking and ended up being more on the well done side to dry. I had the molten cake for dessert and was surprised when our waitress poured the chocolate over the dry cake. I always thought the idea of chocolate molten cake was for the chocolate to ooze out from inside the cake.
For what we paid to eat here I expected the food to be fabulous. I have eaten places where it has cost me half as much and the food was spectacular...regardless of what I ordered on the menu.
Our waitress Michelle was very friendly and gave great service. The service was good. Our reservation was at 5:30pm so it was an early dinner the the crowds hadn't started arriving yet.
I wouldn't dine here again. Not for dinner anyway.
We celebrated our anniversary. They were great
Very good food and good value. Service was great.
The service was outstanding. The food was good. A bit overpriced. The lighting was brighter than you’d want.
Our server was a delight. Food was great. It was quite noisy but not enough to stop the conversation from flowing.
Great location, atmosphere, decor and service. Unfortunately was a bit disappointed by the food. 1) The Grille salad was very simple & croutons were stale, the side of truffled mac and cheese was good but missing something, of the (2) steaks the filet was overcooked. The other was a bone in filet and was decent with a side of asparagus, but not great. Felt I may just had a miss that day and next time could be better. Dined recently at Morton's Fort Lauderdale recently and they hit it out of the park on all aspects.
Loved the ambient atmosphere, food was good, service was fairly fast overall very nice experience!.
The service was so slow 5:00 pm Cocktails came for dessert. Never gif the salads we ordered. Orders were wrong. Food very average. Super noisy
The food was hig quality and the service was great. The desert was with saving a little extra room for
Great place to have brunch, lunch, or dinner. The food is always good and service is excellent. Only issue I had was I wanted a sprite but their machine was down. This happened to me a couple of times dining with them. Other than that, I give Del Frisco’s Grille an A+ rating.
