Pretty good, just a little slow on the service
My food was cold and we waited fifteen minutes for a drink.
Food was excellent. Great Bar scene. Attentive Bar tenders.
Always happy with my visit! Must get the cheesesteak egg rolls and Nutella bread pudding :)
Birthday celebration. Food was great, a bit noisy
Cozy upstairs dining with a nice variety of appetizers, large salads, comfort foods and well prepared steak. Consistently good service with friendly wait staff. Location faces Hammond Pond. Good for dinner parties as well as family dining. (No specific kids menu, although they do offer a select few kids-specific options.) Private dining room available.
Reasonably easy to find parking. Good shopping downstairs along "The Street".
Appetizers were delicious, but Ceasar salad and fish & chips were just OK. When we arrived, there was no one at the host stand when we arrived. We informed the bar tenders we were there, and it took another 10 minutes for the host to come out!
Primarily a steak restaurant...active bar scene, usually full, fairly loud. Steak there is very good. The General Manager was very nice...checked with us how steaks were cooked - one was a little too red for the person who ordered it and the GM made sure the situation was fixed, he kept checking with us, gave us a free dessert for the next visit etc...nice guy.
The meal salads are wonderful. My go dinner.
We have been to Del Frisco's for brunch on several occasions, and the food was good. We had also been there for dinner once before. On that occasion, we all ordered steak, which was delicious. This time, however, we all ordered either tuna or sole. That was a big mistake.
The moral is only order steak!
The salad was not even fresh and the sole on the menu was rather tasteless, overall disppointing given the price.
Great dinner with friends last weekend. We were with friends that we hadn't seen in a long while. We spent a lot of time caching up and our waitress was very patient as we took a while deciding what we wanted. I love their deviled eggs which I have all the time there. I had a perfect filet with a small amount of bernaise sauce on the side. The meat was cooked just right and was the best piece of filet I had recently after visiting a few steak places. My husband had the cheesesteak egg rolls which he loves. He had the scallop dinner which was a little spicy but very good. Our firiends liked their beet salads. We had a window booth which was nice. The place was very busy and had an energy to it. It's a favorite place for us to go to dinner in the new Chestnut Hill Street area. We always go back.
GREAT place for a b-day meal with my daughter and family. Awesome food and drinks. atmosphere is great for family setting and celebration. Great all around!
For our first time at Del Frisco's Grille, our expectations were far from met. Though the atmosphere was nice ( young, hip crowd, nice for a Saturday night), the food wasn't even close to what I was expecting. The salmon and truffle mac and cheese were overly salty, my burger was sub-par, and my boyfriend received some sort of broccoli/asparagus hybrid that was overcooked. The best thing on my table, was the glass of water. We were there to celebrate my boyfriends birthday(which I also noted on the request when making reservations, and no mention of it was made), and left with a less than pleasant experience. May give it another chance, but mostly likely just for drinks.
Server was very good but had no idea how to make coffee. He brought it after dessert was done and it was basically hot water
He did take it off of the bill though
My wife and I both got very sick about an hour and a half after eating there, only thing we had in common all day was the chocolate molten cake. Contacted the staff through email who were very apologetic and tried to rectify the situation. However, despite their sincere concern and apology, I still will not be going back again, after experiencing the sickness that we went though, I can't recommend this restaurant.
The food was excellent, but expensive. The cost makes this a special occasion venue. The seating by the bar was not optimal, however the bar server was quite accommodating with changing television channel when requested.
Overall, the quality of the food makes this a place to return to, but only on special occasions when it is justified to "splurge" a bit on cost.
Was excited to try this place out and left disappointed. There was a decent amount of confusion at the host station around who was getting what table (older crowd was getting upset and didn't want to sit where they were originally seated). My wife ordered a filet that came out extremely rare (to her medium order). We sent it back and after a long wait it came out charred and very well done (think hockey puck). Manager came over and ensured he would get it taken care of. Again, after another long wait, and many visits from the manager and waiter, another steak came out. This time it was clear that the kitchen took a filet, butterflied it in half to cook it quicker, and sent it out. Again, well done to my wife's medium order. We really thought that a steak house would know how to cook steaks. As a side note, the table next to us ordered two filets and both people received the wrong meal from the kitchen, had to wait another 30 mins to get what they actually ordered.
Great atmosphere. Service was first rate and food was outstanding
We ordered off the lunch menu and were charged Dinner with rices
We always feel welcome . Mike the manager is terrific .
He always comes to our table to great us and makes us feel welcome.
Great Birthday dinner for my daughter.
The Food was decent but for the price and the poor service involved, it was not worth the investment.
It continues to amaze me that a server doesn’t know anything about wine etiquette, ie: holding the bottle with hand over label when pouring (to keep label clean), correct pour level in glass (if a customer buys an entire bottle of wine, there is no need to fill the glasses to the rim!) and after the wine taster assents to the bottle, his/her glass is filled last after their dinner companions.
The host was fabulous, the food was fantastic, but our waitress was rude and obviously not in a good mood. She was never pleasant throughout the whole meal, then when I left the table for literally two minutes the waitress asked my fiancé if she was finished eating.I expect more from a restaurant like this, and to treat my fiancé like that on Valentine’s Day is unforgivable!
Not just great for dinner but Sunday brunch, too. Terrific brunch menu, or you can order off the regular menu as well.
Horrible, took 45 minutes for a salad that was horrible
Food was delicious. Service was mediocre. Had to ask for water and bread. Waited awhile to clear the table. Not up to par service wise for a high end restaurant.
Staff at front desk also mediorcre for this type of restaurant. No valet parking and it was hard to find a space. No hp parking even close to the entrance. Would not be in a rush to return even though the food was very good.
Service was excellent and waiters friendly and attentive.
Definitely like it here!
This time though Caesar salad was rather skimpy.
My girlfriend And I have been To Del Frisco's many times, for lunch, brunch, and dinner. We always have a fun positive experience. The staff are very polite and professional, and the food is always excellent. The specialty drinks are very good too, as well as the wine selection. We do recommend Del Frisco's to everyone we know.
Excellent food and service. Restaurant has gotten remarkably more consistent since its early days. Wygu steak was tremendous.
Great food and atmosphere. Perfect place for a nice, casual dinner.
Nice and quiet place for lunch on a weekday
Service was awful - spilled a drink on one of us and didn't even apologize or offer up any compensation for it.
First, my salad was missing tomatoes. Next , my wife's steak was undercooked and had to go back to get warmed up. Then she could't even eat it because it was overpowered with Salt to the point it would leave an awful aftertaste. My wife is definitely not picky and has never had a bad filet mignon until this one. In my honest opinion , not worth the money , I have gone to much cheaper Steakhouses and got much better food and value.
Dinner was really delicious, booth was gorgeous, had a great time. Service was not awesome, but was fine. Was a bit disappointed to have kids seated right next to our obvious business dinner, but we survived. Beef short ribs were incredible and cocktails delish. Will try this place again for a better outcome!
The steak of course was fabulous.... but special drinks delicious, appetizers interesting , the best macaroni and cheese I have ever tasted , unusual and yummy bread pudding. Great special occasion dining
Great food in a casual atmosphere. We enjoyed cocktails, main dishes, and dessert and loved them all. Would return an order the exact same meal.
Food is inconsistent as is service. Choices good. Apps good. Some times really good other times not so much.
i've been to other locations and enjoyed my food and experience.
Everyone had a steak and everyone's steak was over-seasoned and over cooked.
sides were very small portions and very pricey
service was not very attentive.
when i asked for a spoon for desert, i was handed a serving spoon and was told that it was all she could find.....seriously, the only spoon in the restaurant????
