Went for a nice light meal of appetizers and salad. I had a wonderful seared tuna salad and my husband a good soup and caprese salad. Just what we were looking for.
We visit Del Frisco Grille a lot. It's a short walk there, the food is very good, ambiance is goo, service also good. We eat light there (i.e. salads, sandwiches, etc.) and all is consistently really good. Happy hour is great when we can make it. In all, it is really a go to for us and it does not disappoint.
Wonderful thank you for making me feel so special!
The food was excellent as always, but I was very disappointed with our server. We saw her three times during the night, getting out orders took substantially longer then expected almost 20 min to get appitisers. Then another 25 or so for the main course. Drinks were never topped off, we saw the assistant/bus boy more then our server and infact he brought us the check, as our server did not bring it after we declined desert, and sat there for another ten min or so. Great food and ambiance, disappointed in the service this visit
Excellent food, great hospitality, stellar service - a delightful evening out.
Cripple roommate date
Great server! Great food! Cocktails... not as great as they should be. But I didn't care much. The food, room and server made up for that. Wine was good. Wish more choices from Italy... but other than that, a wonderful time!!!!
Great food an atmosphere. Nice diverse menu of seafood and meat. Lemon cake for dessert is to die for!
Our service was amazing. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was cooked perfectly as always! The cobb salad was great. I got it with avocado ranch instead of blue cheese and it was phenomenal. Very nice upsale restaurant
Del Frisco’s was fabulous! We shared the artichoke beignets, wedge salad with avocado ranch, broccoli with tahini, filet mignon, chocolate peanut butter mousse cake, and the salted caramel custard. EVERYTHING was on point! They also have a wonderful wine selection. To top it off our server Lauren B was so great! The manager Lyndsey was also such a sweetheart. We cannot wait to visit again!!
Deviled eggs and filet mignon was over seasoned and salty. Waiter was very personable and awesome! A little loud however nice ambience for group gathering but I would not recommend for a date night.
Service was great. We had reservations at 7:15 on Saturday nite and were promptly seated. Requested bread with our meal and were told that they had run out of bread which I thought was strange. Steak was good, ordered medium rare and internally was cooked properly, however the outer portion was overcooked (charred) just slightly.
I would go back, just not the outstanding combination of food and service that I would have expected from Del Frisco.
We were seated in the far dining room where people kept exiting for the valet. I realize it saves the customer a few minutes of cold, but it constantly chills the patrons who are still trying enjoy their dining experience.
5280 Restaurant Week was a success at Del Frisco Grill! Would have never tried artichoke beignets but they were delicious as were our 6 oz filets.
Service staff seemed stretched a bit thin and my steak was delivered to the table but it took another 10 minutes to get anyone's attention that I needed a steak knife.....by then the $45 entrée was lukewarm. So there's that. The manager made it right by removing from our final bill. Otherwise the build out is beautiful, terrific wine list, varied menu and really happening place to be in CC on a Friday evening. We would return!
We really enjoyed our dinner at Cherry Creek Grill but there were some standouts and some aspects that fell short of our expectations. Let me preface this review by saying, it was a Friday night during Restaurant Week.
Food: I did the Restaurant Week menu and LOVED the artichoke beignets, they are outstanding. Others at my table had the wedge salad and the deviled eggs and all said good things. Me and another guest had the 6 oz steaks and this is where most of Cherry Creek Grills points were lost. We both ordered medium and they both came out well done. I realize 6 oz steaks are hard to cook accurately due to their size, but if your not able to keep the cooking consistent, you probably shouldn't offer it. They did take them back and bring us new steaks, which this time were too raw for me to eat. Other guests at my table had the chicken, salmon and steak burger and all seemed to be happy with their choices, however the truffle fries were bland. We had three different desserts all from the Restaurant Week menu and all were very scrumptious.
Drinks: Great wine selection. We had two bottles of red wine suggested by the Soml, both were good! And we shared a bottle of rose champagne which was a standout for me! So delicious! Two guests enjoyed "Cherry Creek Grille Coffees" and were very happy as well.
I would consider it again, just avoiding the baby steaks.
Attended during restaurant week. The Filet Mignon was excellent. The dessert was also delectable. The server was very attentive and friendly. The server was knowledgeable about the wines, and made a very good recommendation. Ambiance was a little lacking, but that was a minor negative.
A friend and I popped in for restaurant week. The service from the hostess, to our server, Brenda, to the sommelier Jingus (so sorry I don’t know the proper spelling) were great. My favorite was the salmon. Thank you and I’ll be back.
Excellent service and food. I highly recommend the artichoke beignets and peanut butter pie!
What a lovely place. Casual, yet sophisticated. Steaks safe great, well-seasoned, and cooked they way you want.
Birthday - Spouse and I had filets - excellent. The Artichoke Beniettes were terrific. Peanut pie was exceptional.
Josh was outstanding with advice and service!!
Steaks were very salty and Very charred.
Outstanding food and service. The stroganoff was excellent as were the roasted chicken wings!
Steak was cooked a little too much, was ordered Medium Rare.
The mashed potatoes were salty. Usually everything is excellent and my steak was great as usual but I usually love the potatoes and almost too salty
Went for Denver Restaurant Week. I got the Stroganoff and my husband got the Filet. Both delicious. His mashed potatoes were barely warm but the wedge salad and especially the deviled eggs were superb! Had to take dessert to go but it looks fantastic.
Found this restaurant available to book last minute for my boyfriend's birthday. We had a great night. Nice big booth, great wine, delicious food and fantastic service from our server Shane.
Unfortunately the music level was too high making business conversation a challenge.
We enjoy this restaurant. The food and service are always great. We love the salads.
Food was mediocre, service was decent but they stuck us at a small booth behind the servers bar so we heard lots of shop talk between the servers, bartenders and managers that continually flirted with the female staff members. Very unprofessional and disruptive to or $200 dinner for two.
Delicious! The steaks were amazing and the service matched. Our appetizers were identical to the table next to ours, who was seated after us, and a server accidentally brought ours to them first. But, they handled the small mistake perfectly and more than made up for it. Everyone who worked there, especially management, seemed to be truly immersed in the diner experience and we were asked several times if everything was delicious. I will definitely return and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area craving a great meal without the stuffy atmosphere of a fancier restaurant.
I don’t always leave reviews but thought it necessary this time due to the disappointing experience we had at this restaurant last Sat. Evening. We ordered the cheese steak egg rolls for an appetizer and they were great. We decided to split a bone in filet and ordered it medium. After waiting at least 20 minutes for our cocktails to come to the table our steak finally arrived and was so rare it was cold in the center. We alerted our waitress, who seemed undertrained and overwhelmed, and said she’d bring the manager over. He came and took the steak away to have it cooked to desired temp. but didn’t seem overly apologetic It arrived back to our table and was still undercooked. To his credit he brought us a complimentary order of Mac and cheese. We won’t be back and will have a hard time recommending this restaurant. In a city where there are so many fabulous restaurants I wish Del Frisco Grill luck! I would, however, recommend trying a cocktail at the bar. The bartenders are well trained and professional!
Horrible experience. Put us a make shift room with metal tables. Trying to squeeze out a profit by punishing the patron. Classless move. Felt cheap and gross. Would never return and i have been there over a dozen times. They weren’t even apologetic about anything. Most everyone in the room was saying the same thing. Insulting to have $70 steaks on the menu and you sitting on a small round food up table in a make shift room.
Excellent Artichoke Bignet and Filet Mignon. The staff was warm and pleasant and did a nice job of meeting our needs.
Great food and service.
Great Valentine's experience! You could tell the restaurant went out of their way to make it special.
Food wasnt cooked well steak sent back and come back worse. The group of people next to us that were there way before us had to wait over 2 hrs for food. Nice setup but im not gonna waste 2 hundred there again. 1st n last time I go to this place.
I took my wife here for Valentine's. She ordered the filet mignon and I had the bone in filet. I ordered mine medium rare and it came out charred on the outside and still cold and raw in the middle. My wife's was cooked perfectly rare as ordered.
