Del Frisco's Grille - Burlington
Waited 30min for our chicken wings and price is too high for the food quality
Had a bad experience and won't go back. We ordered our food, 25 minutes later, the waitress came back to tell me the ingredient I requested to be left out, could not be left out because the salads were pre-mixed. In other words not full made to order. So i had to order something else 25 minutes after placing the order. The our appetizer finally came out over 30 minutes waiting. We got the flatbread pizza. We took a couple bits and sent it back. The dough was very obviously previously frozen. Thawed out frozen bread dough is very different than fresh and too me was tasting like wet cardboard. I've actually had better frozen pizza and far better flatbread at two places within 2 miles from this restaurant. The manager did not dispute my claim about using frozen pizza dough. When my alternate meal finally came out that was very bland tasting. I got the Caesar salad entree with chicken. About the most bland tasting Caesar I have ever had. Not one mention of anything from the manager or the waitress to show some understanding of the very poor experience we were having. All in all a the huge wait time, having to make an alternate order 25 minutes later and very poor quality food and service no better, I was extremely disappointed at Del frisco Burlington and will never go back. This was the worst experience I can remember in well over 10 years.
My go to place for a guaranteed wonderful
Experience .. food, ambiance, customer service exemplary
This was our second visit and the food and service were great both times. I left a note on my reservation that we'd be in a rush, because we were on our way to Boston for a show, and the service was super fast. I will definitely go back!!!
Excellent service, and the steak was amazing as usual. Got the ribeye- definitely will come back again.
When we were seated there was a mess on the floor under and beside our table. They cleaned it up quickly but not before my mother ended up putting her foot in something which wasn't what I wanted for mothers day.
I ordered the hamburger. It was basically a big mac with the only difference being it cost $15. I got sweet potato fries with it and they weren't really the best, the application of salt was really uneven with some fries being unsalted and others being way too salty. It was also served on a cutting board which I guess is a fashionable thing to do but I prefer plates. It was kind of small and I felt awkward trying to eat over it.
My mother got the "prime rib beef stroganoff". She liked it thank god but I tried it and found the meat really dry and chewy. The "Cheesesteak eggrolls" were tasty though. Basically tasted just like a cheese steak except... they were in egg rolls for some reason.
I chose to take my Mother to DelFrisco’s for Mother’s Day as they have her favorite desert, the coconut cream pie. I understand this was an extremely busy day for your restaurant, but the service we received was sub-par. I observed waiters and waitress running from one side of the restaurant to the other and we often waiting longer than expected to get our order taken. When we were finally able to order desert, the waiter only took my Mother’s order, completely ignoring the fact that my brother and I would of liked to order something as well. My Mother was also dissatisfied with the coconut cream pie as it may of not been defrosted thoroughly.
Although it was Mother's Day, the service was really slow. While it was busy, it seemed like the restaurant should have brought in more staff for that lunchtime shift.
In general, the food was just so-so. I had the poached egg brunch selection and it was not that good. The avocado on the pita was not very flavorful, and the poached eggs had runny whites. Just not that good. the waffles looked good and the french fries were tasty.
Our main criticism of the restaurant is the terribly loud noise level, a symptom of poor acoustical design. It’s so loud that it can be difficult to hear conversations at one’s own table. There are mostly hard surfaces, few sound absorptive surfaces, and the open kitchen contributes a lot of noise.
Our waitress was very nice and attentive... They ran out of cinnamon rolls-it was only noon. 3 of our 6 meals had to be sent back, by the time we got them back, everyone had finished their meals. It was a fair Mother’s Day brunch. I’ve had brunch plenty of times there and it was terrific. Just not this time.
Mother’s Day brunch a little on the pricey side but goat cheese appetizer was delicious. Chef needs to work on eggs Benedict but the filet of steak was great. Suggest dinner there order the steak!
Food was great and server was as well. I gave 4 stars due to the fact we had a 7pm reservation but were told the table wasn’t ready and there were several others ahead of us. We did not get seated until 7:40pm. So much for a reservation! I really dislike eating larger meals late.
I am a loyal Del friscos customer who is part of the rare rewards program who regularly eats at the Boston locations, which I love. I tried out Burlington and had one of the worst fining experiences of my life. As a result, I may stop going to all locations altogether.
The service was super---KEVIN was appropriately energetic, informative and only wandered by at the right times. Always felt cared for but never felt like he was hovering. Food was good.
Indicated birthday on the reservation but it wasn’t acknowledged as I’ve seen at other restaurants.
This is a lovely spot for a special occasion lunch. They really know how to make you feel special. And the complimentary dessert is a generous gesture. You should have a gluten-free dessert as you have a lot of gluten -free items on your menu.
The lobster benedict was ordered by theee of us, and served to us completely cold. The Manager comped our drinks, and gave us each a free appetizer with entree for our next visit.
Great food, great atmosphere for visiting with a group of friends, sharing aps and sides. Not too loud to hear everyone!
Delicious food! Service was great. I would go back and recommend it to anyone.
Our waiter was awesome and so was the food. We really enjoyed it
They made my daughters birthday very special with a card and cake. The food was delicious
The steak was good, but the presentation of a piece of steak on a completely empty white plate was not good, made it look like cafeteria food, surely the chef has some idea of how to attractively plate food, sprinkle some parsley at the very least
First I have to say that your sommelier was one of the best we have had. Matthew was knowledgeable and made a perfect recommendation. Our server Lauren was also fantastic and gave us perfect service. Your grilled artichokes were delicious and the beet goat cheese side was amazing! The only change I would say is that it would have been nice to be offered bread. Also, we ordered steak and serving a lone steak on a white plate was not much of a presentation. Offerings for on top of the steak such as blue cheese would be nice as well. Overall, we had a great night thanks to Matthew and Lauren!
We split a bunch of sides, appetizers, a flat bread, and a steak - everything was delicious!
Larry was our server, HE was awesome! We were celebrating Best Friends Job Promotion! They made Melisa feel Extra Special.
We took Larry's advice on the wine special which by the way he did NOT push on us and it was a fantastic paring with dinner. Can't wait for our next dinner with you all again!
Food was very good, though the roasted prime rib dish came with a lot of extra fat. Service was good except that it took forever to get one dessert order. At least the server took the price of the dessert off of our bill because she agreed that the kitchen took an unreasonably long time to provide the dessert. The decor could use a re-do - it doesn't match up to the type of food served.
Friday night dinner at Del Friscos had both highs and lows. The goat cheese appetizer was quite enjoyable. My entree (Ahi Tuna salad ) was beautifully presented and tasty. My husband ordered the Quinn burger and found the texture to be odd and flavor overwhelmed by the mustard which both topped the meat and was mixed in to the patty. His Parmesan fries were rather tasteless. I can think of 2 or 3 nearby restaurants that would be a better choice at a similar price point. Won’t be returning
I would recommend the desserts which were outstanding but I felt the steaks weren't that great. The Asparagus was weirdly seasoned and the fries were very bland
Food was pretty good but portion size is small for the cost. Cloudy day outside but still too bright for me to be able to see my family across the table / Burlington location needs some type of shading or tinted windows because the brightness was too much for me to see my guests across the table.
This was our first time at the Burlington location. I have been to the one in Boston and it was everything we hoped it would be. From the front desk to the waitresses to the food to the price. My husband & I are looking forward to going back for dinner.
The food was absolutely horrible, cold, grease, terrible presented, they used to be great when they opened. They had eggs boiled and served as a pouched eggs everything was unpleasant ...
The Stuff try to help but if the food in not good what they can do...
Had the worse Easter with my family ...wish they were like when they just opened had spend great time there before.
Very special night! Our wedding anniversary and we had a great time! Treated so well and even received cards signed from the staff! AMAZING!! so glad we went!
For a fairly expensive meal, the food quality was fair and the atmosphere confusing: Led Zepplin played over the sound system?? Appetizer and dessert best of food; entree just so-so given the price. I've had better quality at a more reasonable price elsewhere.
Wonderful experience. Very attentive wait staff.
Nothing special, good food, ok service, no different than any other upscale restaurant.
Our server was awesome, friendly, professional, and checked in regularly on make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Food was amazing, have never had a steak cooked so perfectly!
The service was late night but still needed to provide some service. He was inattentive and made us wonder why we didn’t wait for our favorite server Mike D.
We were dining with a 5 month old. Our waiter was totally oblivious to our needs. He made no adjustments to his routine to accommodate the fact that the baby woke up and was fussy. I completely understand that babies are not common in your restaurant and all we were hoping for was to speed things along so as not to disturb any of your guests.
Loved my drink, I got the VIP. Quick friendly waiters and a nice variety on the menu!
Absolutely awful! My last two experiences at this particular restaurant weren’t great either but this was the worst! There were two couples dining together on this night and the food came out wrong, 3 of the drinks came out wrong and on one round not at all we had to remind the server we ALL wanted a beverage. The server did not know what beers were on tap although my husband was drinking the beer at the time (from the bar) he was told they didn’t have it. I was told that I couldn’t order my meal how I order it every single time I dine there, including two weeks prior, and he brought my meal out how he (server)wanted it ordered which was wrong!! Not to mention I have allergies which is why I ordered it that way! I had to send it back and then it came out completely burnt like a hockey puck. The two orders of ribs were fatty. He (server) forgot my husbands espresso at the end of the night, we had to ask for it after everyone already started their dessert. It was the worst experience I won’t be back. I was called by a manager yesterday, and was told I would be called back in two hours (because I was unable to speak at the time) but I never received a call back.
