Poor value for cost. Small portions. Lukewarm food. Very nice outdoor dining but trash and food under table not cleaned up. Nice waitstaff. Will not return given high cost for small portions , poor value for cost, and nasty debris under outside table.
Food was good. Service and management was terrible. Restaurant was half full, yet had multiple service problems, with the manager offering no apology or amends. Will not return.
One of the worst dining experiences ever!!!! The hosted seated us at a booth that still had the check/receipt sitting on the edge. We asked 3 times if someone could clean the dirty sticky table...14 mins later my husband got up to go and ask the hosted to send someone over....5 mins & waiting.
Poor service Average food
I’m not sure if our server was new or what. Could not have been less attentive. Several times in our meal process we either had to remind him about something or ask someone else.
Food was cold and too well done. One guest could not eat the steak on her salad as it was too tough
For a Saturday afternoon with a busy graduation weekend, we had an enjoyable lunch.
Food was good, but it took an hour and a half for our food to come. Parties that were seated after us got their food and finished before us. We only had for adults and two kids in our party so it doesn’t seem like it should’ve taken so long.
We are regular customers at DelFreco’s and we go back often because we are used to getting great service and great food in a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, we had a first experience at receiving bad service yesterday. Our waitress disappeared for very long periods of time. She didn’t take our order for a good 20 minutes after we were ready to order, water glasses were regularly empty for extended periods of time, dirty dishes stayed on the table way past finishing our meals and it took 30 minutes to pay the check. Very unfortunate.
Normally this is a restaurant I love, food is consistently good generally has great service and good ambience. And while I understand times are tough and we have to be patient the service was so horrible because it was understaffed so bad. We had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation time to get seated. Our poor waiter who tried his hardest had so many tables to wait on that he could barely pay attention to us and took almost 2 1/2 hours to get our food and drinks. They need to do a better job of adapting to the hard times because it was not an enjoyable experience.
Reservation was not ready. Food took 40 minutes to come out after ordering. . Service slow. We had to ask someone else to get our server. Food was good but service was not up to par.
We made a reservation but had to wait about 10 minutes which wasn’t necessarily the problem. The gals working that hostess area weren’t exactly in the best frame of mind. I understand that your waitstaff was down that day and that you had issues and I do understand that the restaurant industry at large is having issues getting folks to work. And I am quite sympathetic to that. It’s just that your people need to be a little more courteous and kind dealing with people who have to wait. Overall your still one of my favorite restaurants to dine in at lunch.
Pretty sure the gal seating people has never had a job before. It was actually shocking. Waitress totally forgot about us. Way understaffed, but good food.
It was a great place to take a friend for their birthday dinner
Del Friscos just hasn’t been the same during and post Covid. We’ve been a few times and just feel they are out of sorts. Multiple times they have been out of a menu special. Tonight “ Mother’s Day” they were sold out of a chef special (fish) by 6:45 pm ??? What?? Poor planning . Also, out of fruit for kids meals . We have always enjoyed this place but now with this being the third time we’ve had mediocre experience in the last 12 months might skip it for awhile .
Food was not good. The service and food were not worth the price.
Everything was great and it was a packed restaurant for Mother's Day!
Good overall- was there for a Mother’s Day late brunch with the kids. Food was good but not exceptional, and service was very good despite being super busy.
Brunch was very good. Service and hostesses were great!
Overpriced for the quality. Asparagus was unseasoned, fries weren’t salted, cocktail shrimp took forever, overcooked, temperature was inconsistent piece to piece (some were still warm), Bloody Mary was chunky and over peppered
Need egg poaching lesson.
Mother’s Day crowd was really full but service was good
Disappointed we were not informed that the regular menu was not available, only Mothers Day menu. Service was slow.
Able to reserve a table outside. Experience was great
Although it was Mother’s Day weekend, the special menu should have only been offered on Mother’s Day. It would have been nice to pick items from the full menu. It took forever for the waiter to bring our drinks. He didn’t check on our table often. It took an hour to get our entrees. The food was lukewarm. Overall, we were disappointed with the evening. I’d still recommend because I’ve had better experiences.
Had a steakhouse salad. Food had to be sent back due to steak being too pink and not in a romaine base like I had requested. Extra dressing was horseradish and not blue cheese as requested. One of our guests’ steak was fully seasoned even though he asked for no seasoning. Manager never came over to apologize and our bill was never adjusted. It was also my birthday and nothing was said it done by the staff to make me feel appreciated! I could have picked any restaurant to celebrate my birthday and I chose Del Frisco’s. Very disappointing!
This first visit to Del Frisco's in Brentwood was a mixed bag of results. Cocktails tableside were solid and enjoyed by all. Appetizers were disappointing with one sent back to the kitchen. Our meal order seemed rushed and out of cadence with the rhythm of the evening. Steaks were prepared perfectly but the meat quality seemed lower than at other Del Frisco's I have visited. Some sides were not prepared well and seemed "held" for some time before serving. Our server worked very hard to make the evening pleasant, but she had little to no help - something of a necessity for a restaurant of this price point and reputation. And speaking of necessity, I'm not sure how a restaurant of this quality runs out of desserts on a college graduation weekend - but this one did. All in, I spent over $100 per person to celebrate my graduate yet left feeling let down by the experience overall.
Mother’s Day Dinner. Awful slow service. Waitress and manager with terrible attitudes. One steak came out rare when was supposed to be medium well. They take it back, then show up with another steak, not the one sent back to cook to temp. Next steak was well done and you could barely cut it. Seafood allergy told to waitress and asked not to have the Ceasars dressing, yet it showed up on the plate spilling into the salad. I was embarrassed to take my mother here for a nice dinner. Ate at the Palm downtown the night prior and the difference in food quality and service was beyond words. Will never come back.
The restaurant had no bread at 5:30 on Saturday night. That is very poor planning, preparation and service. Otherwise, the meal was good.
The food was excellent. The staff was not. We arrived for our reservation and a portion of our party had already arrived. The hostess did not seat us, she said “they are way in the back” and that was all the welcome we received.
Our waiter was slow to get dink orders, we brought wine, he didn’t offer to pour it. We had to ask. He brought white wine glasses for Red wine. When he poured the wine he didn’t offer a taste first.
Service was very slow with zero personality. Overall a huge disappointment.
There was one other family in the restaurant and we waited and waited for everything. The water took ten minutes. We watched our waiter have a conversation and after twenty minutes he decided to take our order. Lunch took an hour and a half and by the end I learned to get things myself. The entire staff was low energy and disinterested in their customers so I think this is a management thing and not a one off. The service was so bad, a day later I’m still angry. Go anywhere else.
Middle school graduation
What happened to this place. Can’t imagine any worse service.
Food was cold. Short-staffed. Packed with people.
Bathroom was trashed, no silverware or napkins. We asked for silverware and napkins once our appetizers arrived. We were only brought silverware. Our entrees arrived. At that time we ordered a Caesar salad with steak to go. Out entrees were not good. My salmon was too salty to eat and my husband’s ribs were dry and his “crispy” Brussels sprouts were mushy. So disappointed we will never go back!
It was our first time at Del Frisco’s and I realize we were there on a busy Friday night but I expect better when a bill is over $300. Too much money for an average experience.
First time to this DFG
A steak with one small side? The filet was excellent, the New York Strip very good. The service, almost non-existent. I’ll take the older waitress any day.
Great food and service.
