Our waiter was very friendly and helpful! Actually the entire staff were all nice and accommodating!!
Best experience since I've been coming to the restaurant.
We had a terrible experience. We ordered two steaks — one medium rare and one medium well. One came to us burnt and one came to us raw. It took three tries for the raw one to come out at an acceptable level. We didn’t even bother to make any comments about the burnt one. The manager’s excuse was his experienced chef was busy — quite a crock considering we went to a steak house and every chef should know how to cook steak. Then as the steaks were being delivered we were told they were out of one of our sides. We ordered something else which came out 10 minutes later and was cold. It appears when it came back it had been microwaved. Needless to say we didn’t eat our meals together or fully as we waited for complete orders for both of us.
Not once during our experience did the manager offer any good will. All we got were excuses and a bill for our full dinner. We complained that we shouldn’t be paying for crappy food and they took off $13. Each steak was $40 so $13 hardly seemed right.
We had high expectations but this restaurant and the manager failed us. We won’t be going back.
Our waitress was very nice but I could tell the lack of service was not due to her workings. Its ashame first time here and it was an ok experience. Sticking to my Peter Lugers!
This was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in Atlanta. We were there for almost 3 hours and it took an hour for us just to get drinks and appetizers. Then the food came out it was over done and had to be sent back. Our waiter didn’t even come to the table until 10 mins + in. He was new. Then when the manager came over he was not apologizing for anything and only took off the appetizers. Then when they brought out the wrong steak they said it was a misunderstanding and took off a drink. He didn’t say sorry for anything and said since we ate the food he couldn’t take it off the bill.
Food good service trash tho
When I arrived, hostess sat me immediately and was very friendly. After I was seated, I waited 15 minutes for someone to greet me and take drink orders. Drinks took another 20 min to come out. Each thing we ordered was sold out... from wine to food. After finally ordering what was left, food took about an hour to come out and my chicken was like rubber. Won't visit again...
The restaurant booked my reservation knowing they were understaffed. Our waiter had our party of 9 with also 5-6 other tables. With a trainee helping her. Awful management to even let that happen. Also, there is only one check with a large party and they tell you when you get there. I only asked for her to print off each parties receipt so they know exactly what they owe and I (the birthday girl) was going to pay with my card. The manager told her she couldn’t. Lied and said it was their system but she knew it could be done she just needed permission. Also, one of the parties had a bug or something in her food. When she showed the manager he didn’t have much to say but “it looks like a gnat”. Why do you all have gnats in your food establishment. Surely that is against the regulations to have food old enough it creates gnats in your establishment. The waitress did all she could with what she had. I blame management entirely. And after having to interact with the manager I see why I blame them.
I’m not sure if it was a busy night, but it took a while for us to be greeted by anyone after being seated. Our orders arrived incorrect. Overall, our waiter Rigo was in training and he was great.
I want to be very clear about why I rated the service poor. Our server was very kind, but the restaurant was wildly under staffed and couldn’t keep up with the tables. We spent almost 4 hours at this restaurant, and didn’t get food for 2 and a half hours. We had to go to the bar multiple times to ask where our drinks were after waiting 30 plus minutes for a beer. I will not be back to Del Friscoe.
I was so looking forward to this meal everything about it was pretty much a disaster,Check in took way longer than it should’ve the couple in front of me checking in refused to step aside even though they arrived 45 mins late & the reservation had been canceled. We were seated and sat there 15 to 20 minutes somebody came over and asked if we wanted water, we ordered drinks and wine, 30 minutes another waitress came over we asked where the other way waitress gone because we had not seen her. This waitress explained that our former waitress was being loaded into a stretcher in an ambulance. We got a 2nd waitress it was her 2nd day, we inquired about our drinks that had sat so long at the bar the ice melted. So the drinks were very watered down & late. We ordered our salads and dinners, That took a way too long as well ,it doesn’t seem like there was much attention made to the plates either ,my husband steak was just a round brown thing on a great big otherwise empty plate. The steak was supposed to be medium it was barely cooked I don’t know how the man ate it. Everybody at the table was mortified when he cut into it how bloody it was and raw. My steak sandwich was so tough my teeth couldn’t bite through the Gristle , I had asked for extra crispy fries because I don’t like greasy limp fries the waitress laughed. They were barely cooked limp and greasy the opposite of how I wanted them. We had a table of six nobody said that their food was good this was one of the most memorable worst Meals ever served. The manager came over & offered no discount no excuses just an explanation of the first wait persons exit. We’ve eaten at Del Frisco plenty of times we’ve eaten in Atlanta and in New York City I do not think I will ever return this was a complete disaster the wine was good the glasses were dirty it was not a good night it was very expensive and memorable but I won’t be back it’s a shame it was embarrassing & expensive we had 6 family visiting us for dinner.
Restaurant was not up to par , restaurant dirty, floors filthy especially under tables. Food was Average and staff needs to step up appearance. It’s supposed to be an upscale restaurant I felt like Chili’s
My wife and I went for our 4 year wedding anniversary lunch. The food was delicious! We had the cheesesteaks egg rolls for our appetizer. I had the burger which was very flavorful and my wife had the salmon with asparagus. The lemon dill aioli sauce was amazing. We also had a side of brussel sprouts and truffle mac and cheese. We will definitely be back.
The dining experience at DFG Atlanta is always a treat. From the attentiveness of the staff, to the quality of the food and beverage offerings, this has quickly become one of my favorite places to dine while visiting Atlanta.
I had to send my food back to be done over because it wasn’t prepared the way I requested. Also it was very noisy.
Visiting for my sister birthday
After making reservations and arriving 5 minutes before our scheduled time of arrival the hostess greeted us at the door station that they were closed for the evening. They wasted our evening and I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future. No explanation or apology just we are closed.
I had a 8:30 reservation for outdoor seating. They took my card info and kept reminding me of the reservation, and then the day of the called and said they were renovating outside so I would have to seat inside or move my date. This was supposed to be my graduation dinner, so I decided to move my party to inside. When I got there, I waited 45 minutes without a hostess to greet us and seat us for our reservation. They had overbooked and didn’t have enough space or the proper set up for my party. Completely unprofessional and a waste of time. Do not recommend.
Music was a little loud, hard to make conversation. Good was excellent and server was awesome.
We walked in and before we even got seated, nor given a menu or QR code to scan, we were asked to order our food. The valet hadn’t even parked our car yet. We made our appointment for 9:45 and the chef was on her way out so we were asked to order before even seated. My boyfriend and I ended up leaving before being seated.
Today, Del Friscos was nowhere near the restaurant it used to be. No hostess to greet you, but also no sign to tell you to go upstairs for seating. Only one waitress and “assistant” on duty. Drinks took forever. By the time we received them, they were watered down. The food was not as good as it used to be. Unsatisfactory on all levels.
I have been to Del Frisco’s many times but not in a while due to COVID. For lunch, I had my favorite, the Steak Salad. It was disappointing as there was no avocado in the salad. There was no one to greet you as you came in. We had to go upstairs before we saw anyone. Clearly, they were not on their game. Usually it is a great place.
it was okay.
The food very salty (cheesesteak egg rolls) and the mash potatoes lacked seasoning. I had the steak and stuff shrimp, it was decent. The maple cherry martini was very strong which was awesome.
The service was good. My expectations weren’t met as far as taste goes.
This was by far the worse experience I have had at any Atlanta restaurant. I ordered a New York strip medium and received it well done TWICE! My friends and I ordered truffled Mac and cheese. It seems as if they put the entire bulb of garlic in there. I assume the manager was trying to accommodate me but her demeanor about the situation see to be nonchalant. I am certain that I will never patronize this restaurant again.
The food was just ok. I'd come here to celebrate my 19 year old nieces birthday and wanted to give her a classy and upscale experience. The music was loud and garish- 80's Rock and some other random garishness. So loud that we had to shout across the table. I actually asked the staff to turn the music down. The service was atrocious. Having to ask for place settings. Having to ask for pepper. The waitress actually reached across the table to hand my sister a martini - which spilled all over the table. We had to clean the mess. The server was indifferent to our needs throughout the night. Horrible experience!!
It was my fiancé’s b day and couldn’t of been worse! We both ordered steaks (filet and strip), medium and medium rare. Both steaks came out well., sent them back. They came out rare and well again. I sent it back again and came out well again!!! I will never be back. I am sad my fiancé had such a disappointment on her birthday!!!
We set reservations at noon with Open Table. The business didn’t unlock doors until 12:05pm EST. When we walked in and upstairs there was no concern or apology for being late to assess us.
Then a comment was made about ball caps we had on but their posted sign said hats are okay as long as they are faced forward. Then other individuals that came in and got seated behind us had on hats that they never took off.
The waitress was good but no engaging and didn’t provide much feedback regarding the menu or suggestions. Definitely not a good job (part time or full time) for her.
The food was tasty and cooked very well! The drinks were good too.
Service was awful.
Waiter came and disappeared for 30+ minutes.
Cocktail arrived at the end of the meal.
Never received our salad so it was taken off the bill.
When our entrees arrived, the third entree arrived when the other two parties were completing their meal.
Worse service ever.
Won’t be returning.
The soup was served lukewarm, not hot as it should have been.
The entree serving dish was so hot, even using my napkin as a hot pad, I could barely position it on front of me. The waiter did caution me, but the temperature was not appropriate to be served to a customer! With so many other choices in the same area, I doubt I would recommend this restaurant to others.
The cheesesteak eggrolls are my favorite and that crab cake is to die for!!!
Once we where sitting we didn’t get any menus it took the server about 15 minutes before they came as well our children food came first and it took about another 15 minutes before our food came but after are server came she had great service
This experience was the worse. Had a reservation, when we were seated out table wasn’t even set. No menus, no utensils nothing. It took 35 min before someone acknowledged us. People who Dat down after us got napkins utensils and served before we even got a glass of water. They had none of the drinks we wanted (sprite, coke, sweet tea, cranberry etc) mind you this place has not 1 but 2 bars. they brought out a salad when we asked for utensils. The manager brought them out and sat them on the table when asked why would she sit them on the table she stated they didn’t have any more napkins. The. It took over an hour to get our food. It’s so much more details but I don’t even feel like typing. Just know this was the worse Mother’s Day dinner I have ever had.
Mother’s Day was my 1st time at Del Friscos-ATL. It was horrible. I ordered the steak and lobster ($50) and my steak was smaller than the size of my palm and the lobster looked like prawns with no taste. Definitely NOT worth $50. The service took way to long to come out. Everyone in my party ordered their steak medium well and they all came out well done. Not to mention we ordered drinks and our drinks came out AFTER we got our food. Overall I was very disappointed and will never return to this restaurant again.
Worst experience in my life. We had a reservation which we had to wait for then we got to our table that was wobbly and nobody ever showed up to our table to introduce themselves or get us waters. This was the worst service ever, we use to love this place but clearly it’s going down hill. We ended up leaving and nobody said bye or noticed.
Mothers Day we were greeted with an attitude from Christine. Our server was amazing and made our day great. Ive dined here several times in the past but this time everything but the salads were very salty. Overall Christine will be the reason why I wont return!
Needs better customer service. Took an hour before they came to take our drink order . Missing sides when food came. Kept taking everyone food to the wrong tables
Excellent service and outstanding food. Ambiance was amazing. Will definitely visit again
Service, food portions and quality were sub par. They need to do much better when a meal costs $60 plus per head.
