Made rez via OT @ 7:30. I arrived at 8 & was told told restaurant is closing. Hostess assured me she tried calling twice to let me know. She had not called at all
They did not have every item on the menu and service was exceptionally slow. Other than that we had a great experience and the food taste great
Shelby the waitress was very patient and understanding. Even with the mask on she still wore a smile!
The food was great. However, the website and Open Table stated the attire was Business Casual. We were looking to dress up and go to a "nice" restaurant. The other patrons were wearing basketball shorts, t-shirts, and athletic shoes. The service personnel were all, at different times, on their personal cell phones and not as attentive as I would expect when paying almost $200 for an anniversary meal. Due to CODIV, the place was fairly empty. I don't anticipate that we will make a return visit.
The lack of the usual full menu made the dinner not enjoyable and I will not return. I realize the virus situation calls for safety measures and they were followed however reducing the menu to a printed page with fewer choices than Arby’s is unreasonable. I am now calling restaurants ahead and if they don’t offer the usual menu not attending. Paying full price for less than enjoyable food is a waste of time and money.
Atlanta restaurants need to learn that safety is important and so is a good menu and good tasting food. Rushing to open without a menu plan makes no sense and will cost customer loyalty in the short and long term.
I know the times are different but we were expecting a nice Mother's Day brunch/lunch. We wanted to enjoy the outside but were informed the upper patio was closed and were offered a corner booth in the shade with trash under it. I declined and moved us inside. We were then greated by a fixed menu of very few items. The limit was terrible and I don't know why the regular menu couldn't be offered as well. There were no prices listed with not very good descriptions. We received the food and it was very underwhelming. A dry fritta, old roasted patios with very little bacon. We ordered the lobster salad and it came after our meal was complete and there was about two pieces of lobster in each. The server was not very attentive or helpful with my my kids request for chocolate milk... The bill then comes and the one item that did have a price listed didn't match the price charged. They also added 18% gratuity to a party of 5. I could not have been more disappointed in this dining experience.
Great location and exceptional wine list. Service wasn’t too good. We had reservations and with an empty restaurant we still waited 35min to be seated.
Manager apologized profusely.
We were so grateful they were open. First date night since all the craziness started, and their staff was wonderful and the food was awesome.
The restaurant was just not ready to be open. Service was painfully slow which was explained to us because of the social distancing efforts that needed be adhered to ... ordered a tea ... they said they needed to brew some but it never came ... friend tried to order three different drinks and they were missing ingredients... then drink arrived it was half straight liquor... other friend orders aperol spritz, waitress said they had it then it was taking a long time so my friend clarified and was willing to order an alternative drink ... she said oh no the bartender just got here ... a champagne drink then arrives. Not what she ordered. We all three ordered steak salad. Steak was overcooked and low quality ... salad had wilting and bad spots. They did take the steak salads off the bill and we still tipped the waitress be we know these are difficult time but overall the experience was not ideal and I won’t be going back anytime soon or probably ever again.
Fantastic meal and cocktails. Best part was the service, especially the manager Raven!
Thank you for being one of the first to open in Atlanta, it was an excellent evening out and the servers and bar tender were outstanding. The food was delicious in particular the deviled eggs ! thanks : )
Everything is great from the food to the lighting.
Was seated within 10 minutes of arriving. Good and service were good.
It was great
Overpriced for the value....many other restaurants in the area that I would pick next over Del Frisco's....
The ambience is the best thing about the restaurant. We came for dinner early on Saturday and they weren’t that busy. Our table was set for almost 10 minutes before receiving a greeting and the drink menu. The food cake out luke warm at best. The temperatures on the steaks were incorrect and the broccoli was burnt. They advertise it as charred but it was beyond that it left a disgusting after taste in our mouths. I was not please. The price point is lower than STK, Little Ally and other neighboring places and the quality of food and service is reflective. Honestly, the food is much better at Longhorn if you’re not looking for the sleek appearance of the restaurant. We will not be returning.
Everything was great!
Definitely would recommend this place.
Exceptional service !
Decent food, service consistently underwhelming. Service isn’t on par with the brand or neighborhood. It is normally easy to book a reservation though if in a bind.
Food was terrible and very over priced! They ran out of lobster tails which I did not understand. How are you a top end restaurant but running out of food like that?! The setup was nice and drinks were good but I will not be going back!
We had to wait 30 minutes for two glasses of wine. Food did not come out right, things we ordered were missing. Waitress barely checked on us.
My wedding party became bigger than I had planned. Some of my guest brought a plus one without telling me. The host was very accommodating and sat the extra people when she could. I greatly appreciate it!! My server was Awesome!!
They ran out of bread and it was only 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday and when I asked the waitress if they would have more she quickly stated, "NO" and seemed very unapologetic. The seating was a fiasco and the hostess was a bit rude and not very helpful.
We went for my husband’s birthday and we had a really nice time.
Went for a date night with my wife. Arrived a few minutes ahead of the reservation at the end of the dinner rush. Service was friendly but slow. Interior was cramped and loud. There also looked to be construction going on. Ambiance felt like a TGI Fridays or Applebee's and not of a high end steak house. Certainly a far cry from Del Frisco's in NYC.It took us 25 minutes to get seated and get cocktails, which were quite good. We paid for the drinks and had dinner at The Palm across the street. That experience was amazing. Great food, attentive service and classy ambiance.
The quality of the service and food do not justify the prices. During the meal my partner had to request silverware however we had to wait for our table to be set. The food lacked flavor (I had send send my overcooked steak back once; as did a neighboring diner). This establishment should add more televisions and become a sports bar and depart from is “fine-ish” dining desired persona.
Mother’s birthday. Waitress never addressed the event!
I enjoyed dining at Del Frisco’s for the 2nd time - first time with a group of female friends and this time on a date. The food is delicious and presented well. The service is friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return.
The service was amazing and the food was fantastic.
Amazing! We had an 8:15pm reservation for Valentine's Day but were delayed by an accident on the highway and called to let them know we were running late. On such a busy night we were accommodated rather promptly and were seated around 9:15pm. Our waiter was Matt, who provided outstanding service. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks.
My last experience with Del Frisco’s was in NYC so I guess my expectations were a little high.
We arrived at the restaurant, parking was simple with the onsite valet. I started to get aggravated when we stood at the hostess stand for at least 10 minutes with no one acknowledging us. There were several employees at the bar that were laughing and goofing off but just ignored us.
We finally got seated by the door. The cold air draft was so bad we asked to move. It was freezing.
We were celebrating two birthdays and an anniversary and it was Valentine’s Day. Our serve was nice and attentive, especially at the beginning. Towards the end of our meal he basically disappeared. We ordered two filets, beef stroganoff and crab cakes. We also got the truffle Mac and cheese and mushrooms. The food was outstanding. Steaks were cooked excellent and the Mac and cheese was the best I have had in a long time!
I had ordered a wedge salad and it never came. I’m not sure if the waiter didn’t hear me or what.
Overall- the experience was good. Not exceptional. I would look at going somewhere else for our next special occasion.
Terrible food that is very overpriced. Cocktails were terrible as well. Way too expensive for not a good environment and not good food.
Birthday dinner and it was great!
Second day in a row with bad service. The servers were pleasant, just bad. So we tipped the 1st day, even though both our side dishes never made it to the table, or the check. But after waiting more than 30mins the second day for a dessert we kept seeing other tables served before us although they ordered after us, we just left. We were prepared to tip again, but the waiter took our cash and gave us the change, which was meant for her. And then she just forgot about us we guess. So we left and called the manager. He kindly had our paid for dessert delivered to the hotel we were at across the driveway. This brand is a good brand, have to make sure the staff keeps the image up. I will be back, no need to penalize a brand for a couple of bad servers. Just need a training refresher. Drinks were great, dining room clean and bustling with people chatting, nice vibe, just like the locations elsewhere. (Lobster tail was slightly undercooked on day 2)
Great food and service. A little too loud hard to hear.
Been to other del Friscos and had good experiences. This one, not so much. Really bad service on a Sunday afternoon when the restaurant was half empty. I had the hamburger, expected great, got a quarter pounder with cheese.
Arrived 20 minutes early and hostess said she could not seat me until my reservation time, the table she sat me at was open from moment I walked in to the time I sat down. Between appetizers and main course, it took 27 minutes. I about cancelled my meal, then when it arrived there was hair on my wife’s meal and hair on mine as well.
Two nights before I was at the Sandy Springs location and the difference was night and day. I will never return to the Buckhead location even though it is closer.
