Del Frisco's Grille - Atlanta
Great restaurant and food. Not too noisy for a business dinner.
My family and I gathered together to celebrate my 25th birthday on a Tuesday night. I have celebrated my birthday at Del Friscos Grille for the past 5 years and every time it is amazing. The service that Angelina and the gentleman assisting her (I forgot his name) provided was spectacular. There were 10 people in my party and no one was without anything the needed because they were in top of everything. My all time favorite food in the world are the cheesteak egg rolls and as usual they did not disappoint! I also had a crab cake and order of truffle Mac&cheese for my meal which was also great. Everyone raved about their meals and overall we just enjoyed our time together for dinner. The tradition will continue next year and for every year after with this quality of service and food!
Went for a Saturday date night, evening went well. Really good table service by the staff. One of the best Old Fashioneds (Basil Haydens) I have ever had. Brussels sprouts were pretty good too.
This is our second visit via AmericasMart. The wine and food selection are great along with great service and we will repeat each visit to Buckhead.
Bar tenders very nice but too slow at checking me out to get to my table.
Our server at the table very nice
No glasses on table for water and for this scale of restaurant you need a server that fills water glasses
My steak was over done. Had 3 businesses associates with me. We were told about the specials. One person ordered it and later told you were out. Had to re look over menu to decide. Two people had desserts and both cakes were very dry.
The service was awful. It was customer no service. The Diet Coke was flat as a pancake. A bad Diet Coke in the city of Coca Cola.
The food for lunch was very mediocre and very expensive
Very loud in my view. I shall not return in this lifetime
Service was great, as always. Food was hot and fresh. Server was professional and attentive.
Food was very good and service was extremely friendly and helpful kinda expensive but great place for date night out or birthday dinner etc.
Went there many times. First time that the Filet was very dry and not as tasty as it used to be. I hope this has a one time thing and not that they changed their product
Always a good time when we visit Del Frisco’s! The VIP drink is amazing!!
I have been to Del Frisco's previously for business lunches, and thought we would try it on New Years Eve. The Buckhead location was ideal.
It does not appear that the restaurant's New Years Eve planning was well thought-out. We arrived at 10:00pm for a 10:15pm dinner reservation . Clearly, when you accept a 10+pm reservation on NYE, the diners expect to ring in midnight at the restaurant. We felt hurried throughout the evening.
Initially, our server Perry said "I'm on your pace". That was soothing. Great. We ordered the first course of the prix fixe 3 course meal. And then shortly thereafter (within ten minutes), Perry then informed us "I'll have to put in your entrees because the kitchen is closing in five minutes".
We ordered entrees quickly. The steak was cooked appropriately, as ordered. The salmon was a good-sized portion, although the asparagus did not seem fresh. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the first and second courses. The prix fixe was a reasonable price for a New Years Eve dinner.
As midnight approached, we had to remind Perry about the prosecco toast: "Oh, yeah. Let me get that for you".
There was no countdown, no engagement from the staff, no favors or noisemakers. The whole scene was quite bland . It was clear that the service staff was just trying to hurry out. Even the valet came in around 11:45 to give me my car keys.
We were disappointed with the planning and the service. Del Frisco's didn't seem to care about (or plan for) the ambiance on a big night.
It was great.
It was a great dinner and atmosphere. The food was awesome as well as the servers at the restaurant.
Great restaurant experience. Valet was subpar. He brought me the wrong vehicle.
We made a reservation through open table. However, we get there and check in with the hostess and she says that she will clean off our table and come get us in 5 mins. We agreed and went to the bar to order drinks. We got our drinks and noticed the hostess go clean off a table for 2-4 people nearby and thought “Oh that must be our table”. We waited for her to come get us from the bar and she didn’t...instead a new “party of 2” couple came in and she seated them IMMEDIATELY!! At this point we knew she had forgotten about us, so my husband went and asked her if our table was ready and he said her face looked as if she had forgotten and she rushed us over to a section of the restaurant where there was a very loud and large group of people in that same section. We could barely hear ourselves think...we came here to celebrate our first year anniversary of marriage and I couldn’t even talk to my husband without yelling. Moral of the story is, first, if the hostess had remembered to come get us for the first table she cleaned off (in a quieter section), perhaps we wouldn’t have sat in the louder section. And secondly, if another couple could just walk in and get a table without a reservation, then why did we even bother making one? I hope this helps “Del Frisco’s” in their future services to other couples. Thank you!
Christmas night. My husband and I sat for 15 mins before anyone even greeted us.overheard one server say she was cut and in the back rolling silverware and we were not her table anymore because the manager cut her. We were seated in a booth by a server station and all we could hear were servers complain and chat! Then when the food came the kitchen forgot minor details off the plate like drawn butter for a lobster duo. Just didn’t seem worth the money we spent like $175 on Christmas dinner and the food and service was just not worth it :(
It was a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance was quite pleasant. Our waiter was very personable and engaging.
The meal and service was terrible for the price you pay for a crappy meal. I will never eat here again, or even recommend this place. Every meals we had was awful, we couldn’t finish it.
Service was absolutely awful. We had to wave down someone to take our order. Drink orders were wrong. Tried to order after dinner drinks, couldn't get that right. No towels or anything in men's restroom to dry your hands with. Just a bad overall experience.
Horrible service as only 2 servers were responsible for an entire room of 2 large tables and 4 four tops. It took longer to get the check right than it did to actually eat our food, then 3 revisions to our checks to finally get it right! We overheard the poor reviews from other diners as well. My party was truly disappointed as this was a special event that we do every year, but will not return in the future. Shame on you Del Frisco's, you were a favorite of mine.
Christmas lunch with friends
Perry B was our server and he waa excellent. We celebrated a birthday and received dessert. Great food!
over 1 hour to be served - yes I know lot's of Christmas lunches but that was unacceptable
It’s a staple for me when I’m in Atlanta. The VIP and the Cheese Steak eggs rolls are my favorites. Always great atmosphere and service.
Asia our server is the best. Good is always consistently fantastic.
Valet was slow only one guy working and seemed overwhelmed. The service inside was also very slow and lacking. Are server also was the bartender for our both and got slanmed. Management seemed slow to assist??
The service was good but the food and drinks were subpar.
Uncharacteristically poor service. We were at our table for 10 min before flagging down a server. Lobster tail over cooked. Steaks underwhelming. Disappointing.
It was a surprise birthday dinner for my wife and, admittedly, it wasn’t very well coordinated. As a result, we were extremely late, other members of our party were trickling in even later. However, the staff and management were very gracious and accommodating! We have them lemons and they made lemonade. Everything from the food, the drinks, the staff and ambiance were nothing short of amazing! Thanks for making our party memorable!
Service was poor. Didn’t receive all our food. Wine isn’t stored properly and wine selection is lacking. Will not gonna back.
Great service and food
Food was great and so was service. Restaurant was busy with a large party and still provided great service.
Way to noisy!
Great options for lunch! Food was great and service was excellent.
I spend Thanksgiving evening with family at this restaurant, and it's out first time dining there. I had reservation but arrived early, they were able to sit us within 10 mins. Service was ok, we were at a table where we had the bartenders as our servers. Food were ok, overly salted in several items. I had a birthday request when I made my reservation on open table, but the restaurant did not do anything about it. I was very disappointed. Upstairs dining room was not even half full. Im sure they were booked all night with a limited menu, but nothing was beyond the ordinary that I'd choose this over other steak houses in Atlanta.
My family went for Thanksgiving dinner and had high expectations based on the restaurant’s reputation but were quite disappointed by the service. We went long stretches of time with no one visiting the table; dishes were left on the table for way too long; bottle of white wine wasn’t served very gracefully and not kept chilled for us at the table; and when our entrees were delivered, the staff worked around some of the dirty dishes, picked up some others and asked us to just keep the silverware from our first course—definitely a surprise given where we were. The staff was friendly but clearly overworked and stretched too thin. The food was good, with some dishes being great—crab cake, butternut squash bisque, chocolate peanut butter pie—and others just being ok—pecan pie, shrimp cocktail.
Great experience for my family and myself. We not only celebrate Thanksgiving but also I propose to my lady on the same night.
Excellent service by Diamonique. Food was excellent and drinks were great. We went for Thanksgiving dinner and were very pleased. First time at Del Frisco's.
Consistently good food and service. Steakhouse salad never fails.
Service wasn't quite as good as we have experienced in the past. Food was excellent as usual.
