The server Jahmal was training someone and he needed training. I was informed several items were not available, I dealt with that. I was informed my Landry card was no longer being accepted, then it was retracted when I questioned it. I waited for ever to get my credit card back. Our plates were left in front of us forever. I asked for a mock tail, it never came. I asked for a cup to go and was told it was no lids. The server Jahmal then told me “I just work here”.
Made a reservation and arrived early. We were seated promptly. After that it went downhill quick. The dress code apparently isn’t even followed by employees, the upstairs seating was too hot, the wait staff have all been hired post COVID and lack any experience, server was pleasant but left a lot to be desired for the service expected at a fine dining restaurant. The steak and chicken ordered was dry and seasoning was nothing special. The room was excessively loud and unable to carry on a conversation with my dinner partner. No steak knife offered nor brought with my steak. I could go on a little more but definitely will not return.
I will not go back-service and food were very bad and music was so loud you couldn’t even hear each other. They finally turned it down after asking 3times, everything was too salty and they had mimosas on the menu then said they had no orange juice. Terrible
Food was really good! Service was excellent and fast!
Truffle mac and cheese
USA prime steak frites
Server Gio was great!!!
Brunch with friends . Glad brunch is back ! Food and service were good .
Typical Chain Restaurant not very impressed by this location. Very busy with large parties, which is good but just regular.
I booked a birthday lunch for my bestie and was embarrassed and saddened by our experience. Let me begin by saying the staff (hostesses and our waitress) were attentivie and wonderful...there is no issue with that aspect of our dining experience. However, with food prices on the high end I was extremely disappointed. I have no qualms paying for fine dining but Del Frisco's failed. Taste and presentation were lacking to say the least. The upkeep of the restaurant is horrible, especially with it being situated right across from one of the finest hotels in the city (Waldorf-Astoria). The table where we were initially seated was wobbly. Then they moved us to a booth where the leather or faux leather was peeling drastically and snagging our clothes. And then my son had to use the restroom. I am so thankful we went in there AFTER we'd eaten because had I seen that before ordering we would've left the restaurant. The bathroom is despicable...it looked like it had never been cleaned. I was absolutely disgusted that a restaurant of this caliber would have a bathroom in that condition especially during a pandemic when there are strict protocols to keep customers and staff safe and protected. I felt the need to apologize to my bestie for taking her there. Needless to say...I will never return. I hope this helps.
Great food, great service. I’ll definitely be back!
Loosely applied dress code to party of 20. Our guest was told to take off his fedora or put on a head wrap because “men can wear head wraps too.” Poor service. We took our large party elsewhere and graciously tipped at another restaurant.
I love Del Frisco I can tell there’s new management.
Seems they were understaffed. Service took way longer than it needed to. Had a large party with 1 waitress, but others were in lala land. Waitress also ended up being bar tender for our table, but she got pulled to help another large party. The waitress really did the best she could. The day wasn’t thoughtfully planned by management when all parties that large had to set a reservation.
Family dinner and our waitress Nicole was the absolute best friendly and made sure we had a great meal. Food was so delicious will definitely be back 😁
I loved it! I came for my 21st birthday and the vibe was there the food was super good. Service was great! They made me feel really special even before they knew it was my birthday. 100/10
Went to Del Frisco’s for dinner. We sat outside, and the area was really nice. We ordered our food and the waiter just seemed to be lost. He didn’t anticipate our needs ie;silverware, steak sauce. Also on their menu they have items listed for MP (Market Price). The waiter seemed confused when I asked him the price. I had to explain it to him. We had to ask him for items several times before we got it, but the other waiters and waitresses assisted. I don’t mind the hiccups, but the restaurant is considered upscale and I feel like certain things should be known for the price point.
tldr; I will give this place another chance in a few weeks -- It was "interesting" - The bar downstairs had just opened back up, and the staff were nice, but a bit confused. Typically stocked items were tough to find or unavailable. There was a lot of confusion from servers about what food went to what table... The bartender didn't know how to make a martini, and the medium rare steak was well done and cold. The Caesar salad wasn't horrible, and the salmon and brussels sprouts were also decent. However, the staff were friendly and despite all the problems and neighbour's table jumping on the complaint bandwagon, I will give this place another chance in a few weeks after things have calmed down. I completely understand the reopening and re-staffing after a pandemic angle.
What a fantastic evening! The Salmon with Crab Cakes and Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls we're wonderful. Additionally, we enjoyed ambience and the service was excellent! Make sure to ask for Jared...he served our every need!
This was great ambiance and food!!! Imani was a great waitress!!
Food was pretty good. Very noisy. Server friendly but a little distracted. Prices fairly high. Better options elsewhere.
Celebrate my 23 rd birthday w my family and it was bey nice
Seems like they still haven’t recovered from opening back up due to Covid. Our server did his absolute best but he was waiting on all of the tables on the upper level. They were also out of a lot of menu items, both food and drink.
The service was great, didnt have any problems and the server comped out meal, but i went extra on the tip to make sure he knows its not him that disappointed us
The food was terrible. It tasted old, asparagus looked lifeless and white with age, the lobster was undercooked, steak was ordered medium rare but came rare, and overall, just surprised that Del Friscos did not rise to the expectations fo the brand.
Is it because is the Grille version? prices are still the same lol
There was a celebrity there and the Manager was solely focused on him. Came to our table to apologize, tried to divest with a convo about my wifes travels, and left us without a concern nor a care.
the service people just felt uninspired by their management, and a waitress loudly complaining about the terrible management in the host desk while we were leaving was the coup de grace of it all.
terrible experience for my wife's bday.
Service was slow. The food was warm.
Service was super slow, the bar didn’t have the drinks we requested, the food was not great. I have been there other times and it was great today was a disappointment
Great Service from the beginning to the end, however we waited over 10 minutes for one order (one of four) to be served (chicken wings). Also, two people in our party ordered the steak salad at the same temperature, but the steak presented was remarkably different. It was a very pleasant experience, overall, and it would have been a great experience if the food delivery was timed better and the steak was prepared to order.
We were seated right away upon arrival. Our server was ok but not very personable. He was new, so perhaps just getting his footing. All was ok except they were backed up at the bar. We were told when we ordered that there was a 10 min delay but it was much longer than that. Our waiter informed us that the manager was helping but it still took a long while. Our food actually came before our drinks and when we got them, the ice was already melting. Disappointing and discouraged us from ordering more. Aside from that hiccup, the food and the people watching were good.
Server was great.
Food was average at best
Drinks never came (they comped an appetizer without us even asking!)
Area under the table was filthy.
Made an 8:45 reservation. Was told when we were seated that the kitchen was closing in 15 mins. This felt weird as we were going to book a later reservation but decided against it. Overall was not a cohesive dining experience. Everyone was kind but standards were way off.
Had reservations. Others guest were seated before us. The waiter seemed high. My food came out after my daughter’s had finished eating. I ordered wine and never received it. Will never return
Like every other rest. we visited this weekend in Atlanta, we went to Del Frisco's Grille Buckhead with intention. And unlike Del Frisco's Grille, each one of these places (Tuk Tuk, Poor Calvins, Velvet Taco, Little Alley Steak House) the experience, service, meals and ambience met and/or exceeded what was promised.
DFG- is right now reservation only. We get there 15 min. early (mind you it's 7:00 on a Saturday. We were asked to wait until a table was ready- and go upstairs. No seating at the bar upstairs, just dinner tables, so we came back down to the first floor where we entered. The area was defunct. The bar had boxes of supplies on it, lights off & chairs stacked on tables. We sat at the bar and waited for hostess. Went up stairs again, grabbed our table. Immediately notice the floor was sticky and smelled like stale liquor. The server was nice, but weird. Hard to explain, but communicated with us leaning on a pole the whole time in different positions. the server who brought the salad out, literally never stopped moving, he put the bowl down so hard that not only did it spin/move towrad the edge of table, but made a loud sound (how hard e put it down). Then, the main entree's come out, I ordered a porterhouse, wife had the trio surf and turf (the surf and turf literally looked like a bad dish from applebees) Broccoli was terrible too. But the kicker- the same dude who threw the salad down, now spills one of the plates (why aren't they serving with trays?) that's in his arms and the ketchup lands all on my wife. We had to request to speak to someone, when they finally came, it was the hostess/manager. Offering us a drink- which we declined. Then offered dry cleaning. We were brought a full bill when dinner was complete. I told him that wasn't acceptable and again, sought out the person responsible for this staff adn guest experience. GM eventually came to speak to us- but it was way too little too late. I'll never go back to this location
Great service. Our waiter was very nice and very helpful. The food was good, not outstanding but good.
It's definitely a bar/grill compared to a restaurant. It did make us want to try the Double Eagle Steakhouse
Went for drinks and appetizers after work with coworkers. Didn't realize that there was a dress code. But being that it wasn't busy at the time and the manager could see we were in scrubs, she was kind enough to let us in. The ambiance was nice and servers were nice. I wasn't impressed with the food for the price. Although it may not be a fair assumption being that we only had appetizers. I was also disappointed that despite happy hour being advertised online they did not have a Happy hour menu/options. Overall it was still a good experience despite my minor disappointments.
Our waiter was very friendly and helpful! Actually the entire staff were all nice and accommodating!!
Best experience since I've been coming to the restaurant.
We had a terrible experience. We ordered two steaks — one medium rare and one medium well. One came to us burnt and one came to us raw. It took three tries for the raw one to come out at an acceptable level. We didn’t even bother to make any comments about the burnt one. The manager’s excuse was his experienced chef was busy — quite a crock considering we went to a steak house and every chef should know how to cook steak. Then as the steaks were being delivered we were told they were out of one of our sides. We ordered something else which came out 10 minutes later and was cold. It appears when it came back it had been microwaved. Needless to say we didn’t eat our meals together or fully as we waited for complete orders for both of us.
Not once during our experience did the manager offer any good will. All we got were excuses and a bill for our full dinner. We complained that we shouldn’t be paying for crappy food and they took off $13. Each steak was $40 so $13 hardly seemed right.
We had high expectations but this restaurant and the manager failed us. We won’t be going back.
We were celebrating my parents 50th anniversary and the server was less than excited we were there. We arrived for one of the first seatings at 530 and you were already out of the charcuterie board and the deviled eggs. The service was painfully slow and our drinks were not refilled in a timely fashion. The shrimp cocktails took forever to arrive and when they did they were dry. The steaks were very good. My salmon was very small and an end piece which was thin. Dishes were left on the table that I had to ask to be taken away and They were arranging a large table next to us and left the chairs scattered everywhere. Not a great atmosphere for a very special occasion. They did provide a slab of dry cake for my parents with out any fanfare (chocolate writing on the plate or decorations). All in all, very disappointing and I’m sad I wasted money on Del Friscos for such an important celebration.
Our waitress was very nice but I could tell the lack of service was not due to her workings. Its ashame first time here and it was an ok experience. Sticking to my Peter Lugers!
This was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in Atlanta. We were there for almost 3 hours and it took an hour for us just to get drinks and appetizers. Then the food came out it was over done and had to be sent back. Our waiter didn’t even come to the table until 10 mins + in. He was new. Then when the manager came over he was not apologizing for anything and only took off the appetizers. Then when they brought out the wrong steak they said it was a misunderstanding and took off a drink. He didn’t say sorry for anything and said since we ate the food he couldn’t take it off the bill.
Food good service trash tho
