Service was lacking. Sat with empty water glasses. Had to find waitress to get the check. Food was excellent and we will try it again & hope the service improves.
I blame management for the following comments - you need to train your staff immediately on good customer service! 1. On a Friday night we were seated at a 4 table top, when there 3 booths open behind us. The next 2 groups got sat immediately in the booths. 2. We asked the hostess could we change she said yes pointed to a table and walked away. No offer to help us move just left. 3. When we were initially seated, no one addressed us for ten minutes. Our to-be server, went to two other tables, she was servicing, but never even looked at us to acknowledge us. When she finally addressed us, she would disappear for times up to ten minutes before we would see her again, (the restaurant was not crowded at all) Her customer service skills were very poor, and again I blame the management. 4. No one from management (including the hostesses) never came out to our table to display any cust service skills. When I go to the mens room, I see what appears to be the manager and the hostesses having a good old time laughing and joking among themselves - why aren't they talking to their customers - what a poor excuse for hospitality! 5. Why are the servers bussing tables? 6. the only inch of excellent customer service came from a food runner (dark-skinned black woman with short hair) who could not find our table at first, but apologized and talked to us making sure we were okay. - hats off to her! The rest of the staff sucks and should be ashamed for disgracing the DelFriscos brand with their unprofessionalism! never going there again!
Food was good, but found the service to be very disappointing. Server was not knowledgeable about the menu, was not nearly attentive enough, required flagging down a time or two, and did not seem to "get" how to be a server in an upscale environment. I suspect she is new to upscale dining and hope she improves with experience.
Love Del Friscos but this one is a loser. Almost peed myself as a waitress was in the men’s room on the phone for 10 minutes. That started it. Wine pour was four ounces instead of at least six. Steaks served lukewarm and unseasoned. The ribeye was tough and clearly no better, maybe worse, than supermarket quality. We had asparagus and broccoli both unseasoned and tasteless. All that and the wait staff were poorly dressed and covered in tattoos. Not what we expect for a $200 tab. Maybe it being a “grill” means lower priced menu items, lower class and a high end meat market for the lonely crowd. Either way a much better meal for $25 a person can be found elsewhere. The valet was very nice.
Great food and service
We are regulars at this restaurant. Last Friday, I was surprised that we were charged $19.90 for 2 unsweet iced teas and 1 Diet Coke. Yes, we had a few refills, but $19.90 is excessive. I did not realize unril I got home and looked at tbe receipt more carefully.
Food is not as good as We remembered
Del Frisco's in a good option for a business lunch around the Buckhead neighborhoods. The costs are a little high for lunch, but the quality is excellent and the service is very good. The shaved steak sandwich is excellent as is the burger.
The service was okay, the seating and ambiance were okay, but the food was not what we expected.
Considering all the great restaurants in Atlanta we have better options.
Me & my new wife love Atlanta Delfrisco, the scenery and food there is great! I can't explain what you need to try yourself. Great staff, from the door man to the hosts', even down to the waiter. The whole experience forced me to tip everybody i talked to literally! Everybody was awesome and our waiter made our experience feel like we were King & Queen. Forget a friend, I'd recommend Obama lol. Jus give them a heads up online before you come.
Service was fantastic!!!! I'd requested patio seating in the reservation since it was a beautifully warm, sunny day.
The patio was closed, which was unfortunate.
Was not pleased with the food or energy of the place. I think this place is very overrated. The server was nice, the owner came over and apologized for the food , but I won't return.
We were celebrating a birthday and told the hostess and the server about the occasion and clearly pointed out whose birthday it was. Service was good at first but as the meal went on service declined especially when other tables were ordering alcohol (which we were not). He got everything packed up but totally forgot the birthday. It was very disappointing as family had come into town for the event.
As far as the food, the burgers were great, flatbread was good but crust was chewy and difficult to cut. Fries were tasty but a bit cooler than I would have liked.
All in all it was OK but will not be high on my list of places to frequent.
Overall good experience, food could have been better for the price.
It was my wife's birthday and there was a hair in her food
Wonderful as always!
Great experience. Waiter was somewhat overbearing.
HORRIBLE FIRST-ONLY IMPRESSION! I choose this for my fiance's bday dinner it was our first time. We arrived about 10 minutes early and didn't have a problem waiting for our resv time. We quickly noticed two groups waiting for reservations. One a birthday dinner with resv's made 7 weeks ago the other a group of six. Both groups were very upset that their resv's were not being accommodated. The hostess had a nonchalant attitude towards everyone and was not welcoming at all. At one point she shrugged and told us there was nothing she could do we just had to wait. One group left eventually and the other"made it work" while speaking with mgmt seeing the bday girl so upset. Our resv time has passed at this point and we are also waiting for table to open up. We FINALLY get seated and all I can think is wow this food must be great!. We're seated at a booth with the most NON-romantic BRIGHT WHITE light I can possible think of. Our waitress brings us water, we review the menu, we order cheese-steak egg rolls. My fiance orders his steak well done with sides and we wait. Appx 20 mins later, a server walk past to what looked like the exact meal he had ordered. About 10 mins later the booth behind us informs their waitress that this steak does not belong to them and was just dropped off by someone. The steak is moved and we notice our waitress- who we had only seen for water and to take our order at this point- with another server arguing over the steak and computer screens. The steak goes to the back and up pops mgmt. He informs us there was a mix up a new steak was being prepared to be out- as soon as I a inform him that we are ready to leave a server shows up with a steak. Now I'm not a chief but I know a well-done rib-eye steak takes longer than 5 mins to cook. We look at the steak and noticed its burnt. This was the same steak just thrown back on the grill with a splash of water. Disgusting and insulting. We practically ran out of there. We will never return or recommend.
We got a noisy booth on 1st floor next to bar. Appetizers tuna taco and mushroom flatbread was good.
After a long wait our food showed up cold. We sent it back and then sides cold. Rib eye was ok prime rib did not taste good.
Overall, nice location, lousy food, bad service and way overpriced.
We redeemed open table points for this dinner and very disappointed.
Won't go back and don't recommend unless you like bad, overpriced food!
The staff were professional and the atmosphere was hip and fun
My waiter was great and extremely attentive. The food was delicious. No complaints what’s so ever
I have eaten at Del Frisco's in New York many times, and I have never been disappointed. So I was eager to try this restaurant out in my home town. It has a great location in the heart of Buckhead by the Mandarin Hotel. The layout of the dining room was a little odd, but the décor was nice and it was not too loud for us to talk. The appetizers were a great start. In particular, the open-faced philly-cheese steak egg roll with sweet and sour sauce was brilliant...easily the most interesting thing I have eaten in some time. But Del Frisco's signature is steaks. My wife and I both ordered a filet. I ordered mine Pittsburgh style but with a medium temperature. My wife ordered hers medium plus. Since my wife ordered a steak slightly more done than medium, they (without asking) butterflied her steak and served it really thin like an Applebee's sirloin special. It was well past medium well (if not well done), and certainly not worth its price tag. As for my steak, I don't think the chef even knew what Pittsburgh style means (although interestingly my server did). It was served medium well (over done), and there was less sear than if it was cooked straight-up in an oven from the start. There was no butter used in cooking it, and no seasoning. I could tell it was a very nice cut of meat, but the cook on it was utterly disappointing for $50. I didn't make a fuss about it or send it back, but the server could tell it was not cooked properly and comped my dessert without me asking or even complaining. The service was great, and this should have been a good meal. But when you charge that much for steak, it simply has to be better. I can think of at least a dozen steak restaurants in Atlanta that are far, far superior and have never botched a fine cut of meat like that (much less two of them). Sadly, my future visits will have to be limited to the New York location.
Quality of prime rib was not as high as I’d like given the price. Filet was very good. Wine glass serving was noticeably short. Service was attentive.
Enjoyed the steak!
Excellent dining experience. Loved the crab cakes. Excellent dessert menu.
Our Valentine’s Day date was AMAZING. The staff was so friendly and the food was to die for.
Our Valentine’s Day dinner was awesome! We started with the cheesesteak egg rolls, and WOW, they were amazing! Our order consisted of filet mignon with asparagus, prime ribeye with mashed potatoes, and a great bottle of Cabernet. I will definitely come back!
Poor service except manager
Had a great night for my wife’s valentine birthday. Annette, Victoria ,Ryan and Herbert made for a special night filled with great food and better service.
The special wagyu was very grissly and the other steaks were cold.
Very good all around experience. I will be coming back often.
The food was a huge disappointment! The cheesesteak rolls were salty and the deviled eggs, steak, chicken and mashed potatoes were bland! We had to request condiments like butter, gravy etc.
Nice restaurant packed with fun people. Beautiful decor. Definitely a steak place. The meat was fantastic but seafood was lacking. The sangria was so disappointing with the Raspberry Vodka they used.
Hunter was our server, it made the experience awesome. I had the chicken and waffles and the philly cheese steak egg rolls, which were good but a little too salty and my waffle was superb, chicken tenders were a little too "cooked"
This was my first time dining at Del Frisco’s. The food, as well as the service, was great!
Great time! Good food! Great atmosphere! Waiter was attentive while also managing another large party near us.
Bar atmosphere very noisy, steak was under cooked, as was salmon had to send both back to be cooked more. Service was horrible twice has to ask another waiter to get our waiter.
I loved the ambiance ! The server was so patient & professional . The food was delicious .
Music was too loud
I used to love going to Del Frisco's, both in Atlanta and New York City.
However, this time was very disappointing to me.
I brought 2 friends that had never eaten there before.
I felt rushed. It was difficult to get what we needed.
We were right by the kitchen walkway.
I could go on and on!
