We’ve been coming to Del Frisco’s for thanksgiving dinner for a few years now but this may be our last.
First, I’ve always had an issue with how cold and detached the hosts are. They barely say hello and they always make you feel like they are doing you a favor.
Tonight we were sat down but not given any menus. Our server came by the table 10-15 minutes later and dropped off a drink menu and said I’ll be right back. Another 15 minutes passed, and the restaurant was not all that busy really, and the server came back to take our drink orders. No suggestions, no water offered, nothing from the server. Another 10 minutes and I stopped her to ask for a menu and was told they should have given us a card with the code to view the menu on our phones. Go back to how unfriendly the hostesses are.
Our drinks came and we ordered an appetizer, the deviled eggs, which came out quickly and was delicious.
At this point we’d need there for close to 40 minutes and had still not placed an order for dinner. I stopped the server as she was walking by and placed our order. The thanksgiving pre-fixe is what we all ordered, with different choices of sides to accompany the turkey. The first course of the pre-fixe was supposed to be a butternut squash bisque, but instead w for the second course first, without the sides. Had to ask the person delivering the food about the bisque and he said he’d take a look. The server came by to say that they ran out and had to make another batch, or something like that. In that case, why not let us know or wait the extra 5 minutes for the food to be prepared? In any case, we got our first course while enjoying the second, but still no sides. Another food runner came by with 2 or the 3 sides and laughed when I asked about the missing item and said she’d look. We were well into the meal before the last side item came out. Overall, the food was ok but the service was just bad.
Worst quality steak I’ve ever eaten. Shockingly bad meat.
Dinner 11/14 7:45pm- I have been to several Del Frisco’s locations. I have actually been to this Buckhead location several times. This time was very strange. My wife and I planned a weekend in Buckhead and stayed right next door at the Waldorf. We walked across the cobblestone courtyard. We were dressed up and ready to just have a good night out. We walked by the valets who were all working. They were very professional and friendly. Even though we walked to the restaurant they held the door for us. This is where it gets strange.
We immediately noticed the bottom level was very dark and empty. There was a hostess that was extremely cold and unfriendly. I would go as far as saying she was void of any type of personality or care for the restaurant. She told us that our table was being cleared off and we should wait on a bench in a dark corner underneath the stair case.
As we sat in this small dark quiet area I noticed our excitement and energy was going away. After 25 minutes (20 minutes after our reservation time) my wife asked when we would be sat. She looked at my wife with disgust asked her last name and she would check. Our table wasn’t ready. Another lady walked up and noticed the poor reply and volunteered that it shouldn’t be long. Approximately 30 minutes of sitting in the dark quiet area the hostess walked over and mumbled something and then walked upstairs. I think she may’ve said follow her. We caught up to her and found our booth near the upstairs bar.
The upstairs area was a completely different ambiance. It was upbeat and lively. The heat was turned on and we weren’t chilly. There was great music. Our server, who was also the bartender was very nice. The food was incredible. We had the burrata. I had the ribs. My wife had a shrimp dish. Food was great and service was great. We noticed they had a nice bar upstairs. We asked if we would’ve been allowed to sit there while we initially waited for our table. We actually could’ve sat there.
Great food but they need to advise patrons when items are low. They ran out of 2 items and didn’t tell us. The person distributing the food did.
The night we went, it seems like the place were severely understaffed and they didn’t account for many people. The food was not at an adequate temperature when received, only the sides were hot. Seems like the food was sitting there waiting but the servers were too busy. Poor management, but I think on another night, everything would be good.
What a disappointment...can’t say anything good about our dining experience. Felt like a TGIF experience versus what we have experienced at del frisco over the years. Definitely not recommend or go back.
Good meal. Good wine. Good service. Ambiance was spoiled by extreme cleaning smells from downstairs. Ugh. Too much money for smelling bad
Food was a little cold, server seemed a tad bit rushed when speak to us.
My husband and I selected the restaurant because I had heard great things. Sadly I was disappointed.

Hostess’s was not welcoming and didn’t seem to be seating in a logical manner considering tables open and covid-19 distancing. Several patrons just asked other workers and moved in and out to accommodate themselves. Not sure what the issue was but I myself did consider leaving and the restaurant was not full. It was early lunch. The burger and VIP drink was amazing though!
Always enjoy Del Frisco ‘s. Eaten there in several different cities. Food is always great service staff as well trained in the overall experience very professional. Great place to take clients.
Out of 5 fish options on the menu, only one was available. Long wait for food, and not the quality I am accustomed to at a Del Frisco’s Grille

I get that it was during Covid but restaurant was dirty and food was just okay. They were out of Kettle, Ultra and Bud Light?

Steaks were pretty good. .. Large party downstairs... very little concern for Covid. Noisy, very few masks, lack of social distancing.
Coffee served with desert was room temp— obviously old coffee. Olive Oil Cake—- terribly dry and crumbles. Not a good dining experience.
It was our 3rd year anniversary and I was not impressed. I want be going back.
I’ve always loved going here but after covid it’s not the same. Service was slow, food was not up to par.
This is not a typical Del Frisco’s at all. Our service was awful and the food was worse. I have NEVER sent my food back at a restaurant and tonight was a first time ever. This establishment did not come close to delivering the service and food that we are accustomed to from Del Frisco.

Food was undercooked and had to be sent back 3 times.
Customer Service was very poor and slow given that only 4 other customers were present.

I came in for a Birthday celebration for my Cousin who was visiting. I noted it on my reservation, but no mention of it at restaurant. This was my first time since March out for dinner ( requested patio) The experience was not my usual experience there. I was disappointed in the service received this time .

This was my first time out Since March and it felt good being in a restaurant. The special occasion was my daughter‘s 28th birthday and Del Frisco‘s made the experience very memorable. Our waitress Mercedes was very attentive and made us feel very comfortable being back outside.
Food appears to have change from the flatbread to the Mac and cheese noodles and flavor to the salad having brown spots on the lettuce. Crab stuff shrimp changed as well! Before pandemic use to be a go to spot but was disappointed on spending 300$
Would not return, not very welcoming. Felt like a bar after st Patrick’s day, not a place for lunch. Service was fine but thought odd no restaurant entry until exactly 12pm
Beautiful atmosphere and the service was great. The only thing that was disturbing was we had a reservation for 7:15, the server came out and told us at 7:30 that the kitchen was closed at 8 so we needed to put our order in before then. They were out of shrimp, crab cakes, and no market catch of the day. They also don’t hold people to the business casual rule because people were there in tennis shoes, shorts and some had on flip flops so we felt a bit over dressed. The food was excellent. Or at least what they had left lol. I’ll go back for sure.
Took 35 to 40 minutes each time we ordered drinks, steaks were ordered medium well all 4 came out rare rare! We drove an hour to eat here and have eaten here 100sl plus times but don't believe we will make the trip again. The manager was awesome when he got involved but it was too late after 2 hours. Things happen but you need wait staff that cares and pays attention to the tables.
They opened at 12:00. We ordered tea at 12:30 and they were “out.” We also ordered the wings appetizer and they were “out.” It seems that someone needs to do a better job of keeping inventory. Tea is a staple of most restaurants. They could sent someone to Costco to get a case.
Our server was super friendly and in point the entire visit.
Slow service awful food , no utensils over place just nasty
this is a second time of have been there in the last couple of months. overall was good! I am surprised that still have limited items. We ordered flat bread as a appetizer only to find out later they were out of it. Waitress should have known they were out. Also they don't have ice tea which is really strange.
Terrible service- food was cold. Table and patio dirty. Not what it use to be. Needs major attention from corporate.

The food was very tasty as usual. However my dishes could have been a hotter temperature. While it was not cold, I would say the food temp was barely above warm.
It was a casual late lunch for me & two of my girlfriends. And it was the worst. Service was slow, we were sitting by the bar & still had to wait almost 20 mins for our drinks that we could see sitting at the bar. The food was blah my shrimp was over cooked and rubbery & my rice was hard & cold. No manager came to chat with our table about the food or service. Will definitely not be returning anytime soon. Customer Service was the poorest.

I came there to celebrate my 25TH birthday and had an awful experience. We got there at 8:45 for our scheduled reservation and we weren’t seated until 9. Once we were seated, we did not receive drinks until 10 and we did not get food until 10:30. The food was very subpar. I will say that the manager did come talk to me and try to rectify things but overall it was not an enjoyable experience.
45 min from being seated until ordered wine arrived. Steaks were great... cooked to temperature. Apps were average at best. Shrimp cocktail was warm. Chilled wedge was warm. Understaffed. Will not return
