We were so looking forward to this meal. Unfortunately, we were under completely underwhelmed. Food and service were mediocre. Took too long to get anything and the steak (their specialty) was served completely cold. Won’t be back.

Dylan our server was AMAZING, this was our first visit and we will be back. Excellent service from the hosts all the way to the runners that would assist with serving the tables!!! Amazing!

What started out to be a pleasant experience went plummeting downhill fast when the waitress asked how everything was and we pointed out that the vegetables we had ordered were not prepared. The sprouts were not trimmed and were raw. Eating marbles would have been easier. The asparagus also wasn’t trimmed. So we had to cut off the hard woody end pieces. For the price we were paying I would have expected to have a cut of steak which I would have liked to say was delicious. I’ve had better from less experienced neighbours at a cook out. The manager did come over to see us. He didn’t seem too concerned and walked away bored of our conversation. They didn’t charge us for the veg. Shame that we feel it was a waste of our time going to that restaurant tho.

Food was not cooked as requested the Rare was Medium and the Medium was Rare. That along with the SLOW service getting the actual meal was unreasonable as it took 55 minutes to get our steaks on a Tuesday night with the server nowhere in site.

Some of the wait staff's uniforms were dirty with dried food on them, not what I would expect from this steak house also the glass wind breaks and space heaters were filthy.

Had to get aggressive with the Valet's as I handed them the outrageous sum of $25.00 in cash only to be told they do not accept cash and would not give my keys.

More to say but will leave you with this.

Fantastic location and we had an amazing booth/table.
Decided on the Prix Fixe menu with the half dozen oysters in the half shell and the lobster bisque appetizers. Unfortunately the oysters were very very petite, drenched in oil and some sauce which overpowered everything. Numerous broken shells all over too… very unfortunate. Bisque was very buttery and salty but still delicious.
Had the 6oz filet MR, Strip MR Pittsburgh style.. Filet was cooked well done but replaced with a perfectly cooked one. Strip was fantastic. The Asparagus sides were the size of broccoli stems and not too enjoyable and the mash was decent.
Butter cake and cheesecake desserts were on point!!!
Ambiance, location and service were fantastic!
Unfortunately the execution on the food was a little lackluster in my “opinion” especially for the quality I have experienced at other Del Frisco’s in the past.
Will still be back for sure

Great quality food, service, and atmosphere. One quibble with the Blue Cheese Wedge Salad, this might just be me, but a Wedge Salad should be as cold as possible and the salad we got on our visit was little cooler than room temperature. The Blue Cheese, bacon, and tomatoes were top-notch, but for me, it needs to be ice cold.

We always enjoy but it felt like they were short of food staff. Most everything was a bit unorganized even though we had a very friendly waitress. But I had to look for her or runner to get situated.. silverware, water or even getting my wine.

Food was excellent. We always enjoy a nice center cut fillet. Ribeye was on the average side. Bacon appetizer is always amazing. Calamari was too sweet.

I would not hold against them but when you pay too dollar you expect everything to be stellar.

The place was gorgeous! The sunset was really nice. The service and the staff were superb! And the porterhouse steak, tuna tartare, asparagus to name a few was mouth watering! Overall an unforgettable dining experience!

Overall it was a good experience, the wine list was very extensive and we were able to find our favorite winery, Chimney Rock. Our server was awesome (lady from Boston), she was very knowledgeable, attentive and outgoing. The only thing that threw us off in the beginning was our experience engaging with the host, it was obvious that our reservation notes were not reviewed but rather that have a collaborative discussion to identify a table that would suffice, she become very cold and short with us. We live next door and typically go to Eddie Vs/ Ruth Chris, not sure if we would give Del F. another go.

Celebrated my birthday with my boyfriend we had a great time was great ambiance and the service was good. Nice patio dining and overlooks the bay. I think this restaurant has a a kool vibe and good looking staff and people. It’s nice for special occasions or date night.

$70 steak served lukewarm almost cold quite frankly. Mediocre service, rude hostess, made for emptying my wallet out at del frescos in San Diego even more of an uneventful evening. I have eaten at del frescos in Orlando and Charlotte and had completely different experience. Should have gone to Ruth’s Chris way more consistent throughout the country.

The service and food was as expected but there were issues with the experience. Much of the seating was on the patio and while the restaurant appeared to have plenty of space heaters only half of them worked. The one for our table stopped working mid meal and we did not receive a replacement until the end of the meal making most of the meal an unpleasant experience. In addition before we received our food, the waiter asked for and charged our credit card. He said his manager required it because they had many walk offs but that is definitely not something you expect from a high end restaurant and did not make you feel welcome. Next time choosing a high end restaurant I would choose someplace else.

We dined at the location in downtown San Diego on 4th of July at 4:15pm. We were greeted and seated properly by the hostess. We were seated outside which was quite windy but that’s not the restaurants fault. Our server greeted us as she passed by which was good. She came back over and asked for our drink order. My boyfriend started asking questions regarding a wine menu and food and she answered but seemed rushed in having to do so. The service just because mediocre and rushed during our visit. I think our server had a few tables outside but most were inside so she was overwhelmed by running back and forth. I guess for a restaurant owned by Landry’s and charging similar prices to Mastro’s we expected more Mastro’s service. We did not get that here. The manger cleared some of our dishes as we watched expo workers continue just to walk past us. We ordered two 8oz filet mignon. One was ordered medium and one medium well. They both were served Medium rare. My boyfriend just ate his and didn’t complain. I complained because I don’t like rare at all. The server took my steak and acted very put out she had to deal with this. I complained to the manager about the steak and servers attitude. She was mean just not very professional for an upscale environment. He apologized and went to check on my steak. He brought it back and had me cut into it. The part I cut into was satisfying but the other side was still rare. I didn’t say anything since the manager ended up giving me my steak for free. I appreciate him and his attentiveness as he was the only friendly employee we encountered aside from the hostess and one other server that checked on us. Bottom line, the place is wayyyy overpriced for the service and demeanor of some of the servers. I left her a 10% tip thinking that was well more than her basic service provided. Our bill was $202 even after my steak was removed. That was for one steak, 2 sides, 2 glasses of wine and one margarita.

Booked for a birthday, told the waitress it was a birthday celebration and they never acknowledged or bring a cake out, they cooked one of the steaks incorrectly, the waitress was no where to be seen when they brought the food, when she finally came out and said how is everything, 10 minutes later, i told her of the issue, now she could have at that point offered to change the steak, but instead of doing that shes said “oh no let me get the manager”…. We never asked for a manager?! Then about 3-4 minutes the manager Mike came out and asked the same question. As to what the issue is… basically said I’m sorry and walked away, never taking any corrective actions. Also the side dishes were not that great. so not great service, and definitely no attention to detail, how do you book on open table and mark it as as a Birthday, tell the waitress that its a birthday celebration and absolutely NADA! it’s obviously management, and lack of service, because we dine at the one at century city all the time and we have never had this kind of disappointing experience!
The manager mike could have turned things around but his nonchalant attitude didn’t help the experience

We took special friends to Del Frisco's to experience all that we have heard and they did not fail us, Our guest were impressed with every dish and even said some of the dishes were the best they had ever tasted. I appreciated the mangers coming to the table to check on our experience and even brought us a condiment to try with a side dish. Worth our hard earned money for an unforgettable meal.

Our waiter & the host was very nice and did a great job.
The service aspect that was lacking was relative to the bar & kitchen. The drink orders took 30 minutes. The food also took a lot longer than normal. We could see that you are under-staffed, so we remained patient and understanding. The food was excellent and our waiter was very professional and delivered great service. Prior to COVID, the services all around have never suffered. Regardless, we support you as we know these are difficult times. Hopefully, people will return to work very soon so you can get back to greatnesses all around.

Eric was very knowledgable of all menus. There were various indicators of professionalism such as how the busser said, "Excuse my reach," which highlighted the staff etiquette. This is what I'm familiar with in most of Europe and it is excellent to see this being taught in San Diego.

Sat as only customer at bar and order for drinks was incomplete and subsequent service was spotty. Shrimp cocktail was excellent but filet was nothing special, almost flavorless.
