We’re celebrating two birthdays
My food was good I had the prime ribeye and mashed potatoes. Some of the other food we had was crab cake, salmon, lobster and lobster Mac and cheese everything was very good except for the butter cake my daughter really didn’t care for that
Been twice to Del Frisco's while visiting San Deigo. Fantastic steaks. Decided to have Thanksgiving at Del Frisco's in Century City this year. The steaks were fantastic, and cooked perfectly, the Turkey dinner was well done and very tasty, a lot better than other places I have tried in the past on Thanksgiving. I would definitely come back on Thanksgiving or any other time for the steaks!
We recently went to Eddie V’s and while I really like this restaurant due to the seafood options, the service was crap. I also think there was some racial profiling going on but that’s another story. The service at Del Frisco’s was excellent from the host to our amazing server Veronique (so?). She was polite, engaging and gave an excellent wine recommendation. I ordered the traditional Thanksgiving dinner while the rest of our party ordered from the regular menu. The bacon bacon as AMAZING. I work across the street from this location and hope I don’t get addicted to having bacon for lunch everyday.
Chris was amazing. Food was great. Steak was a little over cooked and they made it right.
Cocktails were so good.
Excellent in every way - our waiter was terrific!
We had a lovely meal! Nice cocktails, and the service was good. Loved the butter cake!
Food is always delicious and always large portions.
Seated right away by a friendly hostess and given option of two different rooms. Very friendly staff but could have been more knowledgeable about prix set options and other questions. Our clients steak was rare when he requested medium well. Inedible for him even after sending back twice. Order was missing an item, which finally came when we were full. Waiter kept meaning to light candle and never did. The food and beverages made up for the kinks. The food melts in your mouth. We ordered a tomahawk and we’re not disappointed. The corn, Brussels sprouts, asparagus and mashed potatoes were just as great as the main dish. Delicious.
Not enough staff
The quality of the food, especially the prime steaks, is at least as good or better than any other fine steakhouse in town.
The meal was excellent but the service lacked the professionalism you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Maybe it's a sign of the times or maybe a better manager who knows how to run a high end restaurant is needed.
Salad came dressed when requested dry.
Pepper on steak when requested no pepper.
No sparkling water. They then went to Eataly to buy two small bottles.
All sides were cold.
No toilet paper or tissue in the bathroom.
Not going back there.
There was a long discussion when ordering over what my wife meant when she said she wanted her prime rib medium rare. What arrived was medium well done and I was surprised at how tough the meat was. My filet mignon was delivered medium rare. My wife barely touched her dinner. The waiter offered "free dessert" which meant free dessert for her. My dessert was full price. The salads were excellent. The asparagus and potatos au gratin were fine, but I was surprised that the manager did not come over once even to say hello. Disappointing after having enjoyed Del Friscos in Dallas, Ft Worth and Manhattan.
I was neither impressed by quality of food nor service provided by waiters
Very nice service!
Good food, and nice ambiance.
But very empty.
The quality of food and service are always at the highest level when I visit.
The poor hostess was all alone so we had to wait to be seated. The first booth had a wobbly table. So did the second booth.
The waiter was nice but not too swift, service was just so-so.
Bone in filet wasn't very good
And your choices of sides need work - NO BAKED POTATO AT A STEAK HOUSE?
Had to send steaks back as overcooked and tough. Just another steak restaurant without energy with mediocre food at high prices,
Food was delicious and our waitress was a delight! Can't wait to come back again. Get the chocolate mouse, you won't regret it :)
Perfect service and amazing tasting food! We had a very enjoyable dinner.
Really enjoyed our dinner. Amazing service from Christian. Also, manager Alberto was extremely kind.
Surprised my boyfriend and brought him here for his birthday and him and his friends absolutely loved it! Was an experience to remember.
Food and service was amazing!
Top 3 steakhouses I’ve been to! Highly recommend
Great food and service .
Angelique took great care of us :)
I was so excited to go and get a rack of lamb. Had been thinking about it all day! We arrived and was seated by a table next to the stairwell going downstairs to the bar. It wasn’t that bad, though patrons kept walking up and down. But i asked to not be put by the large parties, and there were quite a few!
We ordered wine appetizers, sides and entrees. I couldnt wait for my lamb rack, which i was sharing with my daughter! My husband ordered clam chowder, crab cakes and the mashed potoatoes. My daughter and I were going to share wagyu meatball appetizer, rack of lamb and lobster macaroni. The wagyu meatballs came to the table and we were told they had run out of the clam chowder! So he switched to a wedge salad. So we ate, drank a little and then about 25 or so minutes into our appetizer meal, i was told they had RUN OUT OF THE RACK OF LAMB!!! The only thing i wanted, and they waited 1/2 an hour to tell me? I didnt want anything else, but the host kept offering to pay for an appetizer on him. I ended up with appetizer lobster bisque and one crab cake.
I just think if a restaurant is going to charge as much as they do, let your patrons know earlier that “they had run out of food”. I know it was a Wednesday night, but really? We showed up for dinner at 7:15, its not like we came at the end of the evening.
Anyway loved the lobster bisque and the lobster Mac and cheese. My daughter liked the wagyu meatballs. The crab cakes were very rich, so i am glad i had only one, my husband said he should have ordered only one, because of how rich it was. But it was all lump meat. The mashed potatoes were very blah.
Service was great. Danny is an attentive server. But not pushy at all.
For the price, nothing special or unique. A dumbed down steakhouse
We went for my Son’s 22nd Birthday. Me & My wife, my Older Son & his wife & my younger son & his girlfriend. Originally we’re going to sit us at a table that was going to be too small for all of us. I requested a bigger table. They were very busy but accommodated us. Food & service was excellent. Beautiful restaurant. Definitely recommend
Our server and the wine steward were outstanding! We will be returning soon.
The food was excellent, our server, Wyatt was superb. Great evening overall, we’ll be back soon.
Great experience from start to finish, especially our server, Tiago.
A typical good standard steak house. Great service!
We visited Del Frisco for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! Our waiter Julian was awesome and so was the hostess on that evening. They greeted us mentioning our anniversary and made sure we enjoyed our evening. Our meal was very good, and we even received cake and ice cream! This is a place that we would visit again!
There were bugs flying around the plates
Food was good, but overpriced. The restaurant didn’t validate the garage parking.
Wyatt provided excellent service.
The experience was good, just wish the light would be little but darker and music preference maybe jazz or Frank Sinatra
Amazing food and service! Steak was excellent, mushrooms were delicious, and the butter cake was divine!!!
If I could rate this zero stars I most definitely would. I was so excited to eat here because I thought the crab cakes were delicious. I ordered what was supposed to be a crab cake entree which consisted of just two crab cakes and NO sides all for $65.00 this experience has definitely turned me against dining at del Friscos. I'm all for fine dining but this by no means met my expectations of fine dinning. To pay $65 for two tiny crab cakes is beyond disappointing. Needless to say because of this experience I will NOT be dining at Del Friscos again.
