Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse - Century City
It's overall 'fine'. Expensive for what it is. Service was slow and inconsistent despite the restaurant not being full at all. We ordered the 45 day dry aged strip steaks, they were cooked and seasoned properly. The steak was good but not better than the normal prime version, and not a special feeling experience or atmosphere in general, even at a decent window booth. $14 fries that were 'meh', Del's salad - would be better with the bacon chopped and salad dressing mixed than doing it myself like at home. We like trying as many steakhouses as we can and personally love Del Frisco's in NYC. Just had higher expectations / anticipation for DF Double Eagle I guess.
server Venson was very pleasant as well as his 'team mates'..I like how they all help each other
Bad service, bad room, bad drinks. We were a party of 10. We were sat in a back room that had the ambiance of a deli. Gin and tonics were $22 and they use tonic from a gun so it was flat and overly sweet. That’s fine for a happy hour at El Torito, but not at a restaurant where you are paying $50 for an entree. We had to wait forever to order drinks and then even longer to get them. By the time the food came, which was tasty, it was too late.
Derrick was AMAZING! Thank you for mentioning the speakeasy, as well. Really nice birthday celebration for the guys. We’ve been here many many times and no one mentioned the speakeasy. Every server we’ve had has been immaculate.
It was my Birthday. Very beautiful restaurant and the food was excellent. I had the sea bass, lobster mash, and cream spinach. It was heaven on a plate. They also gave me a butter cake for dessert for my birthday and it was the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the filet medium well and it was splendid! Oysters were super fresh and delicious as well. Everything was perfect!
Our 'Dual Celebration' was a delight. We were escorted to our table where a birthday and an anniversary card was placed. What a wonderful surprise to begin the evening. Our birthday celebrant had never been to a Del Frisco's restaurant and was 'Blown Away' by the gesture. Our server SARAH added to the delightful evening. The food was superb and the service professional. While my wife and I have visited many other Del Frisco's (New York, Las Vegas, Santa Monica) we always enjoy our return.
I am a Rare Rewards member which adds to the dining experience. We look forward to our next dinner, in New York, November 8. Keep Up The Exceptional Work!
Was great service!! Fantastic food!!
We were there with a large party (13 with 3 age 5 and under) and that might have lessened the experience to a degree. The staff was friendly and helpful, but one steak was not made on time and delivered towards the end of the meal. The manager was kind enough to comp the steak and otherwise the meal was as expected. Would go back with a small party.
We were both on short leashes due to work crises, but we were determined to see each other. Aaron was amazing! He was so attentive and quick - he totally worked within our time constraints but made sure the food came out timely and well. The food was delicious! Last time I thought it was okay, but it was honestly amazing this time. I will definitely not wait another six months to return. The food is pricey, but worth it for a treat! Aaron is one of the best servers I have ever encountered.
The special of the day seared scallop was way too salty, and has little bits of scallop shell pieces on it.
Not a pleasant experience eating it.
It was the worst experience!!!
Loved this place! Service was top notch. Food was amazing! Will definitely be back.
Business meeting next to us was a bit annoying but we dealt with it.
Everything was perfection. Our server Derek was attentive and his recommendations were spot on.
My first three times at Del Frisco’s, I gave them 5 stars on everything! The service during these visits were 5 stars PLUS! Unfortunately, this past Friday night was a total disappointment. The sat our party of 7 in a dark empty room away from the main room, our waitress was extremely slow to deliver drinks/food and take orders, and the creamed spinach was a soupy disgusting mess. We politely mentioned to the hostess that things were taking too long and the manager immediately appeared with additional help. For a little while all was great. They gave us a cocktail , appetizer and dessert on the house. That was nice but after the dinner service, all the additional help disappeared.... and so did our waitress. Getting and paying the bill took 20 minutes! When you are going to a restaurant and spending $1,200 BEFORE tip, the service should be great and consistent. Sadly, I doubt we will return.
Just what is expected from a top steak house.
The staff was outstanding, but sadly my $70 plus steak was not medium rare as ordered but medium-well. For a high-end steakhouse, I expected better attention to this important detail.
The service here is amazing.
I had such an enjoyable business lunch and the food was delicious. The service was excellent and the waiter was on point.
Fantastic in every way. Ambiance, food, service and a welcoming staff, all add up to a brilliant evening. We look forward to returning with friends. This restaurant is an example of a will trained team and all seem to blend together to offer a remarkable and memorable dining experience.
Second time having dinner here. Excellent meal. Place is expensive but awesome. Amazing service and very well trained and friendly and well versed on the menu. Qualities that are quite rare in general and rare specifically in Los Angeles.
We were not happy with the Dry aged Lamb and the Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Rib Eye, it is a nice presentation, unfortunately forgettable Flavor !
Having been to two other locations this one was underwhelming. Both of the main courses ordered - lamb and prime strip were undercooked.
We were very disappointed in the quality of the steak. We both ordered a NY cut. It was fatty and had a lot of grizzle. The baked potato was hard and it was difficult to mash in the sour cream, you were also able to see that the potato just by the looks was not cooked enough. I also ordered 1 glass of wine and was mortified with the price. $32 for a good Cab is an outrageous price. It was the middle of 3 wines by the glass. The waiter didn't mention the cost. I learnt that next time, if there is a next time, I need to ask the price.
Way over priced for what it is. Steak was adequate but not great. At the prices they charge it needed to be better.
Amazing food and service. Travis our sever was fantastic. The baked potato with truffles was OUTSTANDING. My third time dining here and the food is always on point.
Sat in room where the A/C was pounding on us. Not good.
I celebrated my birthday on Saturday night and I had such a wonderful time. The food and service was amazing. I also had a chance to ha e a private tour of EDITH, which is their private speakeasy and it was outstanding. I highly recommend DelFrisco’s for private dining and business events.
Always good. Always consistent. I’m a regular.
Always an excellent experience in dining with a professional friendly staff and wonderful choice of carefully prepared food.
We were celebrating a family anniversary. There was a card and flowers on the table when we were seated. It was a very special evening for everyone and the dinner was excellent.
Wonderful meal and service.
Food was not what you would expect from a steak house of this caliber or really of any caliber restaurant. The staff was nice but the food was honestly sub par.
I have experienced a number of Del Frisco's around the country and I have to say that the space is excellent. There are so many options for a variety of party sizes. Our server Samantha was outstanding, she provided world-class service as well as being a wonderful ambassador for the property. I certainly look forward to my next visit.
Too bad the restaurant was empty. It does not provide a good vibe. Otherwise our meal was delicious, service was great. Hopefully this help to attract more people.
Service is great but steaks were horrible. We got the 45 day dry aged ribeye and it was so tough and lacked flavor. The sides were good. I've been to the Las Vegas and New York locations, this I've misses the mark. Will not revisit the LA location.
Decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary by taking our children to dinner. Servers, DJ and her partners, were knowledgeable and attentive. Pleasant experience with the exception of a slow kitchen.
