Our food was over cooked and had no flavor. We even heard the people next to us complain about the same. Service was extremely slow and even after mentioning things weren’t up to expectations no one there seemed to care. We spent $300 for 2 people and were highly disappointed.
I took my mom here for her 60th. It was her first time. She loved it!!
My waiter was absolutely amazing, I wish I could remember his name. He checked on my table periodically without being annoying and explained everything thoroughly. I will be visiting this particular location again.
I’ve dined with Del Frisco’s for many years now. I’ve been to Winter Park, Galleria Houston, and South Park. Del Frisco’s is not the same restaurant it used to be. As far as entering the restaurant y’all do a nice job creating the experience and conveying prestige. Unfortunately, the experience falls apart once the human factor is involved. The female hostess greeted the party, but didn’t even read the reservation notes to identify the type of occasion or the table we requested. She walked us to the dining room and allowed us to pick the table. The gentleman at the hostess stand, who was alone on the phone when we arrived didn’t even acknowledge us. We had to wait for the female hostess to return. Overhearing his phone conversation, he was attempting to give a guest directions to the restaurant. He was completely unaware of the intersection the restaurant is located at. He simply said we are located near the perimeter center. There is nothing called the perimeter center and to somebody either from Atlanta or not, that means nothing. My guess is there is Maitre’d training on how to provide directions to the guest, to begin creating the experience. Once we elected our table and were sat, the service seemed ripe and inexperienced. The waiter was unaware of how to mark the table for cold seafood. They did not anticipate the guest needs. We were not provided the appropriate condiments for cold seafood. We also ordered lobster with dinner. Unsuccessfully, the chef allowed the lobster to leave the kitchen dark in color and overcooked. The lobster was cooked to the extent that it could not even be removed from the shell. The waiter never returned to the table and was out of sight the whole time we had our entrees so we could not inform him. A server assistant came to our table to refresh our water. We asked her for our server, but due to the language barrier she returned with two silverware roll ups. This is not the old attention to detail style del Frisco’s I enjoyed.
It was Great!
The food and service (Doug) are always impeccable. Seemed to take an extraordinarily long time to get seated this time, not sure why but seemed there was no one to take people to the seats and there were several parties waiting to be seated with no explanation stated of the long delay. Our only disappointment is that there is a dress code listed on open table, as well as hanging on the wall at the hostess stand that appears to not be enforced. There were several customers there who were wearing printed t shirts and not at all dressy jeans, which cheapens the experience and makes those of us who honored the code and made the effort, feel not acknowledged. The way too casual attire belongs at Applebee’s, not a $100 a plate elegant establishment.
Made reservations in the morning for outside seating. When arrived, nothing was said....led us to INSIDE seating. When complained....was told outside seating was closed. Why was that an option when reservation was booked? My husband felt uncomfortable the entire meal. Yes....we should have left, but didn’t. Food and service was fine. We were celebrating our anniversary.
Took my parents for my dad’s birthday.. Took long for our meal to arrive to us.. almost an hour. Food was well seasoned, very good however the well done steaks were burnt. Loved the birthday surprise a cheesecake & ice cream on bread, big enough to share! Although that was a wait too.. There is good parking. Parking is free for less than 2 hours...
Del Frisco’s was great! Food was awesome and so was the staff! Great experience!
My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. Service was absolutely wonderful. Honestly could not have been better. The waitress found out in conversation that we had just recently gotten married and gave us a complimentary dessert! Steak was good. I ordered the filet rare, and it was very over cooked. The taste was good, but overcooked nonetheless. Personally, I would go back not for the steak, but for the butter cake! It was superb.
Our server D was phenomenal! All of the food was great! The atmosphere has just the right amount of energy! It was a wonderful celebration that was capped off with an outstanding dessert!
Be very specific of where you'd like to be seated.
Great service and ambiance, food was good, not great. Wine list is large and has a great variety.
We came for a Birthday and everything was perfect!
Food was fine, nothing I would recommend but the service was wonderful so that made up for it. Not sure I would go back however
Our server was excellent. He was congenial and accommodating. However, my wife had to send her steak back three times. This was after we wanted about 30 minutes to be served our entrees. For the quality of the food, it was WAY overpriced. Unfortunately it was our first and last time visiting Del Frisco’s. We’ve had tremendous experiences at Fleming’s, Capital Grille and many others and will go visit them the next time we celebrate a special occasion.
Overall the service was good but the food was mediocre, VIP drink is not as good and steak was bland.
Erica was amazing!!
Food and service was exceptional can’t wait to go back
After taking awhile for the food to arrive, the food finally came but was not hot. After waiting for awhile, we definitely didn’t want to wait any longer. The ambiance was great to celebrate a birthday, and the restaurant made sure the day was special with an awesome dessert. The service, on the other hand, was not the best. Our waiter did not check on us at all. It was a little annoying as you would expect better service, especially with the prices you are paying for food and drinks.
Great time ... very nice restaurant!!
This was a first time visit at Del Frisco. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. We will return.
As someone who likes fine dining in Atlanta ( not trying to sound like a snob just giving my opinion) this was good but there is better out there. The drinks were amazing I will say that and the ambiance is really nice as well. Valet was whack wasn’t friendly didn’t open doors for us. The staff inside was very friendly as well as out waitress I wish I rem her name but she was really great and checked on us frequently.
Great date night, but food was way overpriced and only so so.
We had our wedding anniversary and it was our first time going. Good experience
Great service and seafood selection very good.
The service was great from the host to the severs.
The food fell flat served room temp. Bland. Etc.
I previously attended a work function at this restaurant. I was excited to bring my wife and kids here for my wife’s birthday. Every restaurant has an off day and this was the one.
The server was awesome overall. There seemed to be a bit of dysfunction with the food. It took a long time for the food to come out. My wife’s steak was undercooked and mine was overcooked. After the steaks were delivered, our server disappeared for 15 minutes. We had no sides. She apologized and the sides came out. The creamed spinach was cold and the potatoes were undercooked. I had these sides previously so I was disappointed.
I didn’t tell the server about my steak. I just enjoyed the cold tire I was eating. They reheated my wife’s steak. They took off the cost of the sides. That was nice but I would have rather had food that met the quality I know they are capable of. The evening ended with a complimentary bread pudding and cheesecake. The bread pudding was very good.
Our server did her best and I will go back. I was just shocked by the food quality.
The service is fantastic and the food is exceptional...I had the rack of lamb which was delicious...don't forget the butter cake desert---can't go wrong. They do a nice job on social distancing...felt very comfortable. Would highly recommend this restaurant!
I love Del Frisco's its my go to for lunch and dinner meetings with clients or a loved one .
The food was mediocre at its best. The service was slow.
If you're a old world wine snob like me, you'll love this place. The food is great too. I did have to wait quite a bit for a hostess to show up but aside from that and the the bathroom needed to be cleaned, it was fantastic. Make sure you take a walk sloooowly up the ramp from the entrance on the parking lot. The wine line up is amazing. If you're seated at the main dining room or at the bar, you need to look up. Beautiful. It's pricey but soooo worth it.
I absolutely loved the patio area. It was open and everyone was spaced out so you felt very safe. I am not sure if it was the patio and the breeze but the food was not as hot as I remember it when I have eaten outside. The taste was great as always but not sizzling. Our server was excellent and gave great recommendations and took very good care of us. The butter cake for dessert is a must and while it looks big, get 2. We only got one and probable could have each eaten our own. It is THAT good. We were disappointed that the baked potato and onion rings were missing but also understand the need to shrink the menu in this current pandemic.
All this said, we will return and enjoy the restaurant many more times. I highly recommend Del Frisco's despite the few minor issues in temperature.
We reserved last minute for a party of 10. They were very gracious. We ended up being a half hour late and they still accommodated our big party.
Our server’s name was Douglas (I think??) and he was absolutely wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and smooth with his delivery in letting us know about the menu. My roommate and I dined here for our first time and regret not ever visiting sooner. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy once the sun goes down. I started off with the VIP cocktail which was so delicious, I would’ve enjoyed it even if it was a virgin cocktail. My roommate had the Alborino, which was also very great. For our appetizer, we had the shrimp cocktail, which was perfect. For my main course I had a NY Strip and Jumbo Shrimp, and shared the lobster Mac n cheese. The food was phenomenal! It was very satisfying and my steak was cooked to perfection. The lobster Mac n cheese was so tasty, it was hard to stop eating after I was full. Overall I had a great experience and I definitely see myself returning to this location!
Just ok...this place won’t be here long.
IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY AND EVERYTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE FOOD IT TOOK TWO HOURS TO RECEIVE ANYTHING FOR THOSE PRICES EVERYTHING SHOULD BE RIGHT. If your having a special occasion THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TOO GO‼️
