Excellent service, a wonderful wine list and great food made our evening perfect!
The entrees and sides were served luke warm. This was disappointing for Market Price entrees. I had the Sea Bass and my wife had the Crab Cakes. She loves crab cakes, but she did not like her MP entree at all. She stated the Crab Cakes were filler with peppers, etc and little crab. We shared our dishes. I only had a taste but I did not like them either.
My Sea Bass could have been sooo much better if it was hot/warm - and not as if it had been sitting around.
I my mind, I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt, as this is a Steakhouse and we ordered seafood. However, friends ours who had been there the weekend before had the same experience with their ribeye.
I reality, for our anniversary celebration, our meal was very lackluster and a disappointment. We have no plans to come back nor will we recommend what 'looks' to be a top tier restaurant, as it is not money well spent.
The chicken dinner was uncooked
Not at all what we expected. It wasn’t worth the money. Our party was not greeted when we walked in. We waited over twenty mins to be seated past our reservation time. Waiter was not very attentive. Friendly but not attentive. Food was just ok. Drinks were watered down. The ambiance was nice but the experience was not worth the money spent.
I will go back
The food came out cold and we had reservations for a comedy club we were late service sucks everything was terrible my worst experience ever so disappointed. I made reservations and did seat until 30min after my reservation it was a horrible experience I will never come back here again..
It was terrible from start to finish. The $70 steak we ordered was cold when it came out, when we sent it back to have it heated, it came back nearly well done. It was tough to cut and chewy. The $115 lobster I ordered was bland, no seasoning and not flavorful. Waitress seemed inexperienced and did not take time to explain the menu or different cuts of meat. She didn’t come back to refill our water glasses, we had to flag her down to get a second cocktail. Unfortunately like most other restaurants in Atlanta, Del Friscos has gone down hill.
Amazing! Food and service was great!
My fiance and I just moved into the Dunwoody area and wanted to enjoy our date night at a really nice restaurant. Del Frisco's was amazing. The food was great and the service was professional. We'll be sure to come again!
Outstanding food and service
This was my wife and I's first time visiting Del Frisco. The food was excellent! There were so many great meal options to choose from, so it was hard choosing just one! We will definitely visit there again!
This was our first time dining at Del Frisco’s and it was amazing! Our server Brooklyn was great! The four was served hot and was amazing
Service was excellent. But…We ordered a bone in fillet medium rare, it arrived fully-cold rare, and when we sent it back (nicely) it came back worse - clearly thrown on griddle for a minute, so grey outside and still too rare inside. Disappointing $200 meal.
You can tell quality has gone down since the pandemic:
- music too loud
- no host, stood there for 10 minutes
- long waits between checkins
- missed appetizer order and entre order
The food, drinks and service was wonderful. Our server Crystal was lovely and acccommodating.
We had a party of 18 and everything was top- notch! Food was excellent and the service was on point.
I came here on a few occasions pre-pandemic and always had an excellent time so I figured it would make a great place to celebrate. Unfortunately our most recent experience will keep me from coming back again: our server was extremely sweet but very hard to flag down when we needed something, there were several gnats flying around our table (one of which ended up in one of our wine glasses), and the quality of our steaks was really poor. One was substantially under-done (ordered medium rare, received it blue) and when we sent it back it returned still inedibly rare, the other was over cooked (ordered medium rare received much closer to medium) and extremely tough.
The service at the bar was just okay. The bartenders were slightly rude and acted too busy for us. The service at our table was great! Tim was our server and was outstanding.
Everything was perfect
The food was probably the worst I had from a restaurant. The food under cooked and cold. We spend $250.00 for non edible food. We will never go back.
We went to the restaurant as a belated Father’s Day celebration. The weather was perfect for us to sit outside on the patio. The service was impeccable and the food was very delicious. Can’t wait to go back!!!
The food was excellent as always here! Steakhouse gem!
It took over 25 minutes for a server to come to our table. 40 minutes to get water and even longer for bar drinks. Server was not attentive (saw her sitting behind bar eating while we were waiting for her to bring us our check). We did not get two of the items we ordered. 20% Gratuity was added to our check for a party of 4 people. We have eaten at this establishment before and other locations. The service was awful last night.
The food was not the same and the service was poor....I think they changed the chef because the food was not as good.
We had an older man as our waiter and it took 3hrs for our service...he was very slow
We didn’t have an issue until we noticed that 18% gratuity was added to our Cheque. I inquired with our server to which he responded that gratuity was added to all cheques that evening. Just to be certain I asked for the manager and asked about the gratuity. She stated the same that it was added to all cheques. I pointed out that at the bottom it stated, “a suggested gratuity of 15-20% was customary. The amount of gratuity is always discretionary.” The manager stated that it was printed on there in error. We enjoyed our evening and were going to leave a nice tip. But, was totally taken aback by the 18% gratuity for a party of 2.
Food was not what we were expecting for a white cloth. Ambiance was great but took a very long time to get our food. Res was for 5:30, got seated quickly but food didn't get to table until 6:45. Once the food got out it was disappointing. The lamb was under cooked and the salmon was rubbery. The steak was ok but I've had better at much lower price point restaurants. Everything was just, "Meh." Also, please know that there is a dress code that is not mentioned here on Open Table.
We came here for Father's Day and the greatest outcome was that my dad had a great time and loved the food and ambiance. Our server wasn't the warmest to everyone at the table, as a few of our party members had complaints about him rushing them to order, forgetting a couple of items, and being pushy on upselling the menu and drinks. My family doesn't really drink or eat too many sweets and are diet conscious typically due to health reasons, so it's not good to pressure people to buy items when they've already said no to. Not every customer is overindulging either. Still, my family loved the soup of the day, appetizers, and all of our main entrees. We also most importantly loved each other's company.
The music did not match the atmosphere for a Highend steakhouse with a dress code. It was too loud, and actually disruptive. It went from rock & roll to country, to old pop. It was a mess! There was a speaker above our table and our party of 6 had to talk loud to hear each other. I complained about the type of music and asked that it be turned down only to be patronized by the staff “no problem, we will do what you like, I got you”…and nothing changed. Not the music or the volume. I would expect this type of restaurant to play jazz or classical music at a moderate level. At one point it sounded like devil music! Awful
Little more to say beyond the experience was fantastic across the board. They were out of the wine I wanted and recommended a fantastic replacement. The bacon was to die for for. Father’s Day meal and my father couldn’t have enjoyed himself any more. Thank you!
Slow service. Overcooked shrimp and lobster.
I made a reservation to have a dinner party for a party of 16, paid a reservation fee upwards of $300. Only to get to the restaurant for my reservation time and have to wait for over 30 minutes to be seated. When it was time to be seated, myself and my entire party had to walk the entire restaurant only to get to where the table was to be told to go back downstairs because the table was not ready. Then once back downstairs we waited to be seated and then we were escorted to another table upstairs on the opposite side of the restaurant only to be told, this is also not our table. So once again myself and my entire party was escorted back to the opposite side of the restaurant and we were finally able to sit. While ordering the server was pushy about the amount of sides that we needed to order. Also when the ticket came, due to the amount of the ticket my credit card company thought it was a fraudulent charge and shut off my card until I could contact them to let them know that it wasn’t. But the server was not discreet about letting me know. He came out and said your card’s been declined in front of my entire party and the party behind us. This was very embarrassing, even though I was able to get it handled. After reviewing my charges the following day I noticed that the percentage of gratuity was changed either by your establishment or by the server to a higher amount which is in my opinion is unacceptable. I hope all of these things will be addressed and improved upon in the future.
The family dinner at Del Frisco's was overall a good experience. Our waiter was excellent, but there seemed by be a disconnect between the floor service and the kitchen. The kitchen tried to deliver our entrees only minutes after the salads were served and then a second attempt to delivery the entrees was made 5 mintues later while we were in the middle of our salads. The timing of service should be better at a high end steakhouse. And a pet peeve, my wife and daughter split a salad and entree. The staff did not offer a second plate and insisted they use a small bread plate for the food split.
My dad’s 70th birthday. Good took 2 hrs to come out and steaks were over done.
Great fancy place to enjoy a date night. I loved the view of the other people and the wine cellar
Everything was great. Your staff really took good care of my company and representatives. Good food and great environment. Top notch staff.
Manager very disrespectful rolling eyes neck rolls attitude everything that could go wrong with her went wrong
Food was as should be with this brand. Service was pleasant but a little slow considering only about 5 tables were taken. Did not like that a 100.00 gratuity was added because I had 5 people and was then hidden from me on the front receipt. It was on the 2-3 copies but still seems a little sketchy to do that.. I almost tipped an additional 125.
Won’t be coming back here anytime soon, too much$$ for too little service
