We were from PA a
Stunningly awful food & experience. I’ve been to other locations and expected the same but this one needs a complete overhaul. Food was meh, the bacon was cold, calamari was cold. The plates were so hot it dried the juices from the main courses. The drinks were not prepared correctly soo when you get your $300 bill it’s a slap in the face.
Great place and service was excellent
Great atmosphere for an intimate night out with your spouse or significant other. The service was by far one of the best I've experienced! Awesome job to the chef, and staff from the time we walked in until our final departure. Thanks to everyone who made this an exceptional birthday evening for me and my spouse! If you haven't been; make plans to attend soon. Great restaurant!!!!
We dined there on 6/6/2021. The service was very slow, probably due to the lack of staff. However, the worst is that once we got the food it was terrible. My husbands steak was dry and overcooked and my salmon was chewy. The meal was followed by a $220 check that included 20% for gratuity. We will not be back.
Disappointing. Have been to multiple Dbl Eagle locations for work (DC,Houston) including this one on multiple occasions. I am a fan of the dry aged strip and ribeye and have recommended the restaurant and it regularly. This was my first opportunity to take my wife to a dbl eagle after telling her how great they were.
This was a Sunday evening. The restaurant was not busy except for the bar and was as quite as I had ever seen it.
We ordered cocktails and appetizer before dinner. The cocktails took a long time and came out well after the appetizer. The server was apologetic.
For dinner I ordered the dry aged ribeye (m-rare) and my wife ordered the 8 oz filet (medium) but emphasized on the well side of medium. She is not a fan of rare steak.
When the steaks arrived the server asked us to cut in and confirm how they were cooked. My steak was medium well and her's was rare at best - cold and purple. (Appeared that they got the steak orders reversed - I don't know that for sure but looked that way)
The server recognized that her's was not what it was supposed to be immediately and offered to take it back to the kitchen and did.
A few minutes later it was brought back by another server - the same steak - looking like it had just been put in the over for a while. Still purple. Not something my wife wanted to eat. When our regular server got back to us he saw that it was not better and by then we had just decided to share my steak and be done with it. The manager came out and apologized and the took her steak off the check.
The server was embarrassed for the experience. I was embarrassed having bragged to my wife about the place.
Not the end of the world but not the kind of experience you expect from the highest end steak house.
I will be back probably on my own but going to reserve my recommendation for a while.
Server became short and inattentive after he realized our party of four wasn’t going to be spending a bunch of money. It made sense after we got the check and saw his 20% gratuity already factored in. The oysters were over broiled. My steak was still bleeding after I asked for it well done. The drinks were sub par. Overall the food was fair in comparison to the prices. The best thing about this restaurant is the ambiance. I’d go back for nice pictures but that’s about it.
Upon walking in the ambience was elegant. Service was slow, but we like to take our time so this doesn't bother us as much as it might bother some.
The menu looked delicious, but when our order arrived, the food was subpar. The broiled oysters were rubbery and arrived at our table cold. This dish was inedible. I had high expectations for the steak, but my medium rare came to my table medium and was underseasoned. Due to slow service and a movie we had to make, I rolled with it. However, I would expect seasoning and temperature to be on point for a steakhouse. I'm not a miser, but the quality of the dinner did not match the cost. We also found it odd that gratuity was included for a party of two at a white tablecloth restaurant. We would've had a better experience at any number of restaurant options nearby.
Garbage, nothings fully cooked
The restaurant is very nice but they are having major service issues. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive. Our guests got their salads 10 minutes before we got our appetizers. One person got her entree 5 minutes after the rest of us were served. I realize all restaurants are going through issues getting servers, but this was beyond normal. Food was good, but not worth the wait!
Beautiful restaurant! Great food, great service. The front desk was a bit slow as if they were either not sure or not prepared for guests. But otherwise nice. Valet and dress code
Ellen was amazing and made our experience amazing. Great food and great atmosphere.
Overall a great experience. The food was good, overpriced in my opinion but I would return. The ambiance was good and the waitress was great.
We recently visited for a birthday dinner and the food was not quality. There was a party of 6 and we ordered different meals from salmon, to steak, to chicken and all of them were not quality. Very disappointments. Service was the bright spot.
The second coming of Jesus has happened y'all...except he's not a carpenter...he's the head master chef of this restaurant!!!!! This was the most amazing meal I've ever had. I can die happy, knowing that my last meal was prepared by a God - because only a God can serve what this restaurant serves. The staff is the most superb staff I have ever encountered on planet Earth. Thank you for feeding me the meal of a lifetime. I will never forget this dining experience. And to Oddie, my master waitress, I'm coming back for you soon!!!
The place is beautiful! But the food is not worth the money . I ordered the 14oz lobster tail for $112 and had to send it back because of a ammonia smell and taste, and the second one they sent out was the exact same way the sides dishes were ok but not the best!! Most definitely won’t be back.
Everything was awesome.
I ordered Sea bass requested it to be well done, the server brought it out uncooked, fish was raw in the middle🤦🏽♀️
Food was delicious, and service outstanding. Lovely experience to celebrate wedding anniversary
Service was slow. Food was good, but portions were small. Ambiance was great.
Beautiful ambiance great for dates or special occasions. Our server was amazing one of the best servers I’ve ever experienced. I’m happy I found this place and am looking forward to going back
Terrible service, waited 45 minutes for water.
Horribly overstuffed, food not prepared to order, Waited over an hour for food ,.. manager even came by to apologize
We took my brother and his fiancé to del friscoe as a congratulatory dinner. The entire experience was off and we are unlikely to return. Our server, we later found out was on his second day ever being a server. We were seated more than 10 minutes before anyone took our drink or appetizer order. There was an event going on upstairs with a dj. Multiple times during dinner it felt and sounded like we’re were at a club rather than a fine dining restaurant. I had to teach the server how to open a wine bottle. The steaks and scallops were good. The augratin potatoes were undercooked. My wife’s soup came out after her entree, two sides were forgotten and later brought etc. The lobster Mac was ok. The most concerning part was I shared this feedback with their management (something I can’t remember the last time I did) and their response was “thank you for your feedback”. Our server was a nice young man who will eventually be really good. My expectations of the management’s training program is much higher than we observed last night. If you are looking for the traditional steak house experience go to Bones, McKendricks or Hal’s, you will be much happier.
The table that we sat in had the sun shining into my eyes for most of the meal. Having 4 people in a big booth all bunched together and not once did anyone ask if there was an issue. In addition the appetizers took over 20 minutes and the sides were not brought to the table until our entrees were done. Our server who was very nice told us it was his third day and I assume he didn’t feel comfortable telling a manager about our issues.
Ambiance was everything!!!!!!!!! Love the decor and vibe and the food was delicious
Beautiful place and amazing service
Thank you for a memorable meal. Our service was great and the food outstanding.
Great time celebrating 3 birthdays. Joe was great, so was Tracy. We will definitely be back😊
Service was horrible!!! The waiters and waitresses didn’t know what tables to bring the food to. We kept getting food that belonged to the tables next to us. It took a really long time to get our drinks. We had to ask for the bread for the table after waiting for an hour. When our food came out it wasn’t what we ordered. The food was cold. I was extremely disappointed with the experience we had that night. I expected so much more from them especially for the amount of money spent.
I was highly disappointed in our visit to this establishment. We were seated promptly upon arrival, however it took 23 minutes to get water. We never received our appetizer, and the food took an hour to come out and we sent it back and left. I asked for a manager after waiting 45 minutes for our appetizers. Steak was overcooked and dry. The sides were lukewarm when they were brought to us. Our server didn't seem to know what she was doing, as she never checked in on us while we were waiting. Another server actually took or order and brought water after the 20 minutes we were waiting after being seated. This was my first visit and I left hungry and disappointed. I definitely expected better service from a higher end establishment.
Not their best night.
Waited 3 hours for our food just for them to bring it out in to go boxes
We've eaten at Del Frisco's in Dallas many times and expected the same quality. I will never return or recommend the Atlanta location. Service was inexcusable and management really didn't make much of an effort to improve. We were 4 people and ordered 4 drinks. We were sitting right next to the bar upstairs, which, despite a full restaurant wasn't open. 20 minutes later, just 3 drinks arrived and we were told they didn't have the ingredients for the 4th drink. Took another 15 minutes to get the drink for our other guest -- no cheers for us. One of the appetizers didn't come - when we asked, the waiter checked and said, "oh, it's just been sitting in the window, do you still want it?". I have no idea where our waiter was all night, but it certainly wasn't bringing us our food or taking care of us. We told them to forget the appetizer. Then -2 hrs later when our food finally came- our medium rare steaks were WELL DONE. That was basically the last straw. We finally, reluctantly complained to the manager. He came out with two new steaks --- even more well done than the previous!!! It was shocking and embarrassing? What do you even say to a manager that can't even come out with a correct steak.... In a steak house. Then the manager only comped the "steak portion" of our meals (it was a lobster/steak combo). He honestly should have done a lot more to compensate how terribly the night went. Now, I'm looking at reviews and realizing it's not a one off for this location, unfortunately. Our first time to eat inside a restaurant in over a year....I wish it was a memorable meal for a different reason.
It was my first time in this restaurant that I tough was a very fine dine! What a deception!! It is the worse fine restaurant that I have ever been. I was there to celebrate my wife's birthday and our anniversary. First we order an appetizer (meatballs) that took forever to come to us, then our waiter disappear for a long period of time. When we got to the point to order our dinner it was kind a quick response but I order a drink and this took so long and by the time the waiter came to me to tell me the bar was behind I already finish my dinner. We wait more than 20 minutes to someone come to the table to ask for our check. And this just happen because I ask to speak with the manager. I wouldn't waste my time and money going to this restaurant!!!! Horrible experience!!!
Inconsistent food and service. Steaks overly peppery. 4 of our 5 steaks we had to send back due to messed up order or not cooked to proper temperature. 1 of 4 sent back twice. (Medium rare is normally warm pink center not oozing blood). Manager did a good job resolving things but overall it’s mediocre esp considering price levels.
Slow service, over-cooked food and lack of response by management equaled a horrible evening. Would not recommend.
Our server was amazing. Not sure his name but if you showed him this message he would know. It was only his 2nd shift on Sunday and he thought he wasent doing his best but I’ve been in the restaurant business for 5 years. Def one of the best I’ve had. Greg smith is a awesome employee as well. Both very good men. Thanks
The service was poor. I have been to multiple Del Friscos and this was the worst experience by far. I waited 25 minutes for my check to come back, then when I got it back they did not even swipe my card. I should have just left right there and not paid. To many other things happen it was just an overall bad experience.
The food was over cooked, the salmon was VERY dry and the lobster was over cooked and hard to get out of shell. The best part of the meal was the VIP. The lobster mac had NO CHEESE AND BARLEY LOBSTER. THE MEAL WAS NOT $396 WORTHY.
