Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse - Atlanta
Del Frisco’s is rooted in a rich American tradition – the steakhouse. We stay true to time-honored principles, like chef-driven cuisine, impeccable wines and exceptional hospitality to give you an experience like no other.
Great experience dining at bar. Derrick was very attentive and recommended a great drink choice to go with my lunch.
I had an early 5 pm dinner on a Sunday, so naturally the restaurant was very quiet and I had my waiter almost to myself. Nevertheless, excellent ratings all around.
Beautiful restaurant. Disappointed in food quality. New York prices. High service level. Good vibe.
Amazing steakhouse...A must!!
The only thing that prevented a 5 across the board is that they do not validate parking. It is only $5 so no big deal but when you drop $300 on a dinner and drinks for 2 people I think it is cheesy and ruins an otherwise first class dining experiance.
This was our first trip to this location and we were not disappointed. Make sure to try the creamed corn.
Derrick is the best lunch bartender ever!!!! Keep up the good work.
Went there for 4 year anniversary and it was truly excellent!
Took my wife here for our Anniversary on Saturday night. Food and service was excellent! Naomi our server was awesome!!
My group of 5 enjoyed the meal. The food and ambiance were great!
Double Eagle has wonderful cocktails, an impressive wine list and outstanding food. The portions are ahareable. Come hungry.
It was my 60th birthday and I had quite a bad day as my dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer. We were seated with giovanni. He treated us with the most amazing respect, care, professionalism, words are not enough (he knew nothing of our ordeal that day). All of the associates there were amazing, stopping by our table to say "hi" and check on us. There was a slight delay in our entrees and the executive chef came out to our table to apoligize and explain. The food was beyond compare, the service was beyond compare, the atmosphere .....When Giovanni brought out my gratis birthday desert assortment, I lost it...I cried and Giovanni grabbed my hand and listened as I told him of my day. What a treasure your restuarant was to me and my husband that day, my 60th......will be remembered with love (yes, love, gio!!!)
Great steaks, good side dishes and desserts.
Love the food and ambiance
Booths are very private. Food is excellent! You won’t regret coming here.
New Years eve
Great New Year’s Eve
Wonderful experience. I’ve been to Del Friscos Double Eagle and to the Grille in many cities, as well as many other Steakhouses in NYC. This is one of my top 3 dinners! Great to have this steakhouse in our city (and a little north of Buckhead).
Me and my wife really enjoyed everything food and drinks. Waiter was great very friendly. Everything was fantastic will definitely be coming back....
Made for a very special Christmas dinner. Our waiter, Geovanni, was very attentive without being overbearing and got us another shrimp appetizer even though we had made the mistake in ordering it. The staff was all great.
What an experience! My family and I spent Christmas dinner here. The ambiance was perfect, quiet and relaxing. Our server, Tim was awesome. He was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. The food was exquisite and flavorful. I’m already planning my next visit.
The experience was absolute perfection! We went for Christmas dinner and the service and food were impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Very nice restaurant. Kinda pricey. Excellent wine and beverage selection.
Took the family there Christmas Eve and as expected Del Frisco’s did not disappoint. The atmosphere at this new place is terrific. The big windows make for a great ambiance. Will be even better once the weather warms up and the big outdoor patios can be used. Have been going to Del’s for over 15 years and always love it!
Service was bad on many fronts, took 35 minutes to get seated, 20 minutes to get first drink, wine steward didn't show up until 3rd bottle, brought wrong steak, hard to get drinks refilled.....
Took my family for my sister's birthday and had a wonderful meal. Service was excellent. The wine list is overwhelming - let the sommelier help!! He was invaluable!
Great food, amazing service! Pricing is on the higher end but it is worth it for sure!
First time on Christmas Eve. Great staff and good food! Enjoyed it.
Met expectations. Nice time.
Took my family here for dinner in Atlanta for Christmas Eve. Restaurant was easy to find and parking was convenient. Everything else about this restaurant was just average. Nowhere near the level of Bones or Marcel's in Atlanta. The steaks were average, lobster Mac and cheese was good, but the desert was excellent. They do have an impressive wine list. This is not a place I will probably eat again in Atlanta as their are many more local restaurants with better food at a more reasonable price. Overall is was overpriced for the service level and quality of food we received.
I had experienced Double Eagle at a recent business happy hour and was very impressed with the space. I had also been to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle steak house in New York and had a very good meal. I suggested to our family that we go to a holiday dinner on Sunday, 12/22.
Restaurant is beautiful and provides a great atmosphere. Our server was very nice and did a good job, but it took too long to receive our food. Probably 30 to 40 minutes. The food was very good, but we had a couple of issues. The crab claw appetizer was extraordinarily small (1 crab claw) and very expensive! When we were given our sides, the servers actually dished the food onto our plates. This seemed odd and actually too much. We would have preferred to serve our own food so we can determine how much food we would like and when we would want it. I think the intent was well meaning and was an effort to provide a high level of service, but it was a miss.
We will in all likelihood give Double Eagle another chance, but we were underwhelmed for the most part.
Our server Buddy was fantastic and so was the food. It's pricey but worth it.
The food was exceptional! Most of us had the steak, one had the tuna, we all shared the octopus. Exceptional. The service was only ok, but it was ok.
First visit to Atlanta newest Double Eagle Del Frisco. In a crowded high end Steakhouse market this location will struggle to succeed. If this meal is an early indication failure is likely.
First valet is hard to find... it’s not where you think but on busy Hammond Drive and not on side entrance.
Second the reception staff is clueless. Even with a reservation and empty restaurant on Monday it took 10 minutes to find “appropriate open table.”
Third, ordered Pellegrino sparkling water.. brought us each a liter.. Wow. Never seen that!
Food was mixed. Carpaccio was sliced fairly thick like salami and very chewy. Caesar salad was very simple like a Longhorns and certainly not high end.
Steaks were high quality but servers not sure of chefs temperature abilities and ask you to cut into meat.. mine was so hot it melted the place mat under the plate. It went from a perfect medium rare to medium as it sat cooking on plate.
Creamed corn with peppers good but over cheesy and potatoes au gratin same.. coated with cheese!! I like cheese!!!
Overall mixed. Plastic table mats instead of linen cloths is a real bad look and I hope they can fix this... hoping to try again but I recommend McKendicks, Hal’s or even Capital Grill if you are serious about your Steakhouse night!!!!
This was our 3rd time at this restaurant and while the restaurant is beautiful and the host staff are warm, friendly and courteous the service has not been up to the standards of what I would imagine it should be. Two out of the three times we have visited (for lunch) our server has greeted us warmly , told us about the specials, took our order and then disappeared for the most part. Water glasses stayed empty, food was sent out wrong, had to ask repeatedly for things and then had to wait for what seemed like a really long time for them to bring the right plate. At the end of the meal our waiter was nowhere to be found. Both times we have had to ask a different waiter if they would find our server so we could pay and leave. Very disappointed because this is such an upscale restaurant and you would expect more from them. There are 3 other high end steak restaurants in the area that are well established and offer great food and excellent service.
Great first experience at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle. Excellent service with perfect guidance from the sommelier guiding us to the perfect bottle to compliment our double eagle steak. Several very nice personal touches by the staff to recognize our special evening to include a hand crafted welcome card. We will be back often!
Other than VERY poorly marked parking, it was a very good experience. Very pricey.
Great Food and Excellent Wine List.
I have Been for every day dining and a special event. Each time service is top top notch. Food you get a good quantity for the price, the taste is delicious!! but overall the restaurant itself is very expensive. However it is very much worth it. It was a very pleasant experience.
Fantastic experience. I can't believe this restaurant has been open less than 3 months. I have no doubt it will be the top steakhouse in Atlanta within the next 6 months. We had oysters, shrimp cocktail, a filet mignon and a dry-aged prime rib. The best part was we were there for my son's birthday. Almost everyone on the staff came by to wish him well. The customer experience was amazing!
