Always outstanding service and food!!
Our server was great!... her name was Erin or Erica. I dont remember her name, but she was the pretty lady with long braids. The server assistants were awesome! Drinks were great made by the bartender with the man bun :) ambiance was awesome. Grown and sexy atmosphere but very chill. We will be back!
They were on a limited menu, which was disappointing but understandable considering the circumstances. We didn't expect the full, normal experience. However, what shouldn't have been affected was the service, which was well below the standards we've become accustom to here and the prices we pay to dine here.
It may be unfair to judge the restaurant based on our experience Saturday, May 16, 2020 due to the strict government guidelines they are compelled to follow so please know my review is likely of their first week being reopened.
Service was pleasant yet totally substandard: steaks were wrong, bread came after main course was served, second round of drinks appeared after the meal, and had to pay $15 to park (at a Dunwoody restaurant that's absurd). I've eaten at other Double Eagles before and this one did not live up to the standard. Definitely not worth the $600 we paid.
We celebrated out 30th wedding anniversary and noted so when making the reservation. The host recognized it. However, there wasn't anything special provided by the restaurant (e.g., complementary champagne, dessert, etc.). We have celebrated at other restaurants over the years that marked the occasion in celebratory ways. Other than that, while the food and service was very good, the prices are too high for no frills.
Great Mother’s Day thank you for being open! The food was great!
The appetizers were cold and the service from the waiter was slow and incompetent.
Food was pretty delicious (even though the asparagus appetizer was poorly cooked) Our service was SUPER slow and our server Dean only checked on us once with a brief walk by. He wasn’t at all concerned about our satisfaction.
Best place to dine. Highly recommended!
Another excellent meal. One of the nicest waitresses. Only bad thing is that they no longer have key lime pie on menu. Hope they bring that back! Once this Coronavirus thing has passed, I definitely recommend going to Del Frisco’s.
When you go to a supposed high-end steakhouse and order a tuner that you were told is sushi grade and she says she wants a rare rare rare seared. And it’s brown except for a slight pink in the middle. That’s not good. The food was OK and priced for excellence. Won’t go back. The weather was good though.
This was my second time at this restaurant, both the service and the food were worse this time than last. I ordered the same dry aged ribeye as I had last time. Then, it was one of the best steaks I‘be ever had, this time was very mediocre. The service was pushy and awkward. Not sure if I’ll be back.
Great food but bread served before/with dinner not very good. Suggest to restaurant to skip the bread or serve bread that matches the rest of the food in quality and taset. While we thought that the food was all very good and top notch, all we keep talking about is how bad the bread was; not how a restaurant experience should be remembered! An outstanding wine menu.
Great experience and great food!
I've had better experiences but I'm willing to give them another shot the staff was apologetic about everything I will reserve my comments to a later date.
This was our first time at del frisco’s. I’ll start by saying that the dry aged steak we had was phenomenal. We absolutely loved that. The service was on the slow side and my drink had to be remade a couple of times. One of our sides didn’t come until after we were done eating, but our server was Apologetic and took it off our bill without question. We heard that the staff was new so this could have very well been why service was a little rocky while they are working out new kinks. The steak alone is reason enough for us to give it another try soon!
They were about 15 minutes late seating us from reservation time, not the end of the world on a Saturday evening. Tried to order Oysters to start but they were out, wanted to share a Porterhouse, but they were out( was also advised Lamb Chops were sold out too). We settled on the Filet Special that was supposed to be served with a Lobster and Scallop topping, they brought the filet plain and we had to ask for topping which they ended up bringing 10 minutes later on a small plate. Au Gratin potatoes were ok, cream corn tasted like a box of salt. It’s too bad they can’t figure things out, the location in New York is one of my favorite places to eat but unfortunately will not be going back to this one
Awful service. I explained to the hostess, waiter, and 2 managers how important the evening was. I tipped the waiter at the begging of the meal.
The restaurant staff made it clear that we were not welcome. Our server all but ignored us.
My husband hosted a work event at the restaurant for 25 people or more earlier in the year. Despite this, we were treated horribly.
We will not return.
Having been to Del Frisco’s several times before, it has become aware that there seems to be a decline. My wife and I haven’t ate there in over a year and the last time we did my wife’s lobster was barely cooked. Now they corrected the issue but again this evening we waited almost a half hour over our reservation time. We even arrived before our reservation was scheduled. They obviously were experiencing timing & congestion issues but after finally being seated and ordered our food her sea bass was under cooked like the lobster. I don’t see us returning in the future any time soon. The service was fine and the Real House Wives ambiance was nice people watching with slightly cartoon looking folks scurrying about was interesting.
Valentine’s Day dinner.
The service on Saturday night was really slow. Drinks took an extraordinarily long time to receive. I don’t think they had enough people working because we couldn’t find our server to order drinks or food in a timely manner. The food tasted good, but for the price you pay, it should! I will not visit again.
We had to wait 15 minutes for any server to come to our table. Finally ordered a round of drinks. Another 15 minutes passed and were never asked for our order, or even if we wanted an appetizer. A "manager" approached our table and I told him about the very slow service. This did have a positive reaction and I admit the service was much better after I voiced my displeasure. The food is very over-priced. It is not bad, but if you are paying this type of money, there are much better choices than Del Frisco's. I ordered the 22oz bone-in rib-eye, which I believe listed on the menu at about $60. It was not a $60 steak. We tried Del Frisco's twice in Buckhead and now this new location in Dunwoody. It will be my last time at Del Frisco's.
I believe they need more workers in every area from the host stand to the kitchen to the servers. Service was slow. Food was good but did not equal other steak houses in the area. I think our server was trying hard but he had too much to handle.
The waitress was great as she could be regarding the circumstances, even though she clearly being spreader very thin. She still showed much customer service and professionalism. The conflicting part about our experience was that it took over a hour and a half to get our entree. No matter how many smiles they gave they just could not get our food out in time. Due to us having prior engagements we had to have our food boxed up and ready to go without even tasting it. Leaving a bad taste in my mouth for the restaurant. Everything else was great however the daunting question was why did the family that sat next to us, sit down after us get there food before us. A question no one could answer.
The atmosphere was very nice. Our seafood tower was awesome. But from there on it went downhill. Although the Atlanta location has been around for over a year it felt like they just opened in that the waitstaff looked and acted disoriented and brand new. They would bring food out from the kitchen to the wrong table. It was so bad that during our dessert a runner brought out an appetizer to our table. It could not have been more obvious that we were eating dessert and the appetizer was not ours. As they say, common sense it’s not common. I could understand it happening once but as I mentioned my wife and I watched it happen time and time again.
The food was just Ok for the price. My father-in-law raves about the Del Frisco’s location in NY so we figured let’s give the place a try. I think Mckendricks steakhouse is a much better meal for the price.
This was our 3rd time dining and a total disappointment. The server had no personality, which I can live with but we consistently had to ask for empty glasses and dishes to be removed to make room for the next course. My husband ordered the porterhouse and 15 min after we placed our order they informed us they were out of that cut so we had to wait another 30-40 min after he re-ordered his meal for all of our main courses to come out. We were a party of 4, it was my parents first visit and my husbands birthday. After I shared my experience with a manager after our first course I insisted that I did not want any deductions from our bill, only the service that we were accustomed to. The service never got better and I watched the manager speak with our server and his attitude was even flatter afterwards. My husband actually wanted to settle the check after cocktails and the appetizers and go to Fleming’s where we ALWAYS have stellar service. Sadly, with all the other options here in Atlanta we will not be returning here under any circumstances.
The food & waiter were great!! The host at the front had a bad attitude and skipped over our reservation.
We we waited 15 minutes before we were served water after we asked for it. We requested lemon and a straw four times before it was brought. The food was lukewarm. The waitress was not service oriented and did not ask how the meal was or if we wanted anything else. We waited 1 hour before the food was served. The waitress was not service-oriented. Not worth it for $200.
It was a great the food was phenomenal and our waiter and everyone we interacted with was fantastic. Such a great place for date night or special occasion. The one thing I will mention is the climate it was freezing. The weather was cooler so not sure if that played a factor or based on the architecture with lots of glass. Overall I will continue to return. 😀
This is a good place to get a Dry aged steak. Make sure to order the Thick Cut Bacon as an appetizer
Loved it...tge food, the waiter, the place...everything was great...we can't wait to go again...im still talking about it...
