Food and service is great. Bacon appetizer one of the best things I’ve ever had. Servers are motivated and in good moods. Nice place to go.
The host seating us didn't read the card to see that we had requested to be seated outside. Easy fix. They were out of a few items that we had wanted. Overall the service felt "scant". It honestly seemed that there was only one server (two at most) on the whole floor. I understand we are living in a post Covid world, but I've been to another steakhouse under the same circumstances and it was an entirely different experience.
Waygu beef was way over salted/seasoned. Waiter was so slow and unprofessional for this type of steak house. I’ve been here many times and it will be awhile before I return. Also my steak was over cooked. I imagine it’s because it was sitting in the window for 20 mins as my plate was on fire and no warning so practically burned my fingers when touching it. Also brought my own wine and had to ask to get it corked and waiter didn’t even give me the first taste before decanted. Manager was the only saving grace who kindly bought me and my date a drink at the bar after dinner and discussing how disappointed we were in the meal.
Went for my birthday dinner with a group of friends. The staff was nice, the ambiance was perfect and the good was delicious!!! This was the perfect choice for my birthday!
Great service and good food! I definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Not COVID ready: Reduced menu, and sells out of what is offered. Terrible, neglectful service. Would think running at half capacity would be very attentive, but instead it was the opposite. Very, very underwhelming. Steaks marked MP rather than priced even though using paper menus. Steak not cooked correctly, as it was close to raw in center while charred on outside (ordered medium). Told to reference a web address for wine list. Worst experience of 2020 with no other restaurant even close.
Absolutely fabulous dinner and exceptional service. The waiter assisted in selecting my meal and he was spot on. I’ll definitively return and recommend to others. It’s a great atmosphere and ample out door dining space if you prefer. Loved the signature cocktail—- it added the perfect touch to a great experience!!
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the steaks were amazing!
Del Frisco's is always a good experience. Food was great. The only drawback I think is they need more selections on the menu. Possibly a few more steak options and more seafood options.
Fathers Day celebration during COVID-19 pandemic. Restaurant atmosphere was perfect for social distancing. Staff wore masks and gloves. I certainly appreciated that! We had a great server - forgive me, I forgot his name - but he was on point!
It was great service. The steaks were unevenly cooked but had a good sear. Could have had more seasoning. Nice place and friendly people
The food was great but we waited quite some time for dinner before it finally came. The restaurant was not full at all and my though was that the kitchen shouldn't be behind on food orders.
Nonetheless, we enjoyed the dinner and the steak was quite delicious.
One of the most disappointing dining experiences we have ever had. Our main concern is that, for us, they did not follow social distancing guidelines. Twice during our meal they sat dinners in booths immediately behind us. The proximity was well less than 6 feet. We had to move ourselves and our meal. The service was awful, with our waiter disappearing for 20 to 30 minutes at a time. No refills on bread or water. Drink orders took forever to be delivered. The food itself is average, and certainly not in line with the extremely high prices. Many, many, many better steakhouses in Dunwoody and Atlanta.
Always outstanding service and food!!
Our server was great!... her name was Erin or Erica. I dont remember her name, but she was the pretty lady with long braids. The server assistants were awesome! Drinks were great made by the bartender with the man bun :) ambiance was awesome. Grown and sexy atmosphere but very chill. We will be back!
They were on a limited menu, which was disappointing but understandable considering the circumstances. We didn't expect the full, normal experience. However, what shouldn't have been affected was the service, which was well below the standards we've become accustom to here and the prices we pay to dine here.
It may be unfair to judge the restaurant based on our experience Saturday, May 16, 2020 due to the strict government guidelines they are compelled to follow so please know my review is likely of their first week being reopened.
Service was pleasant yet totally substandard: steaks were wrong, bread came after main course was served, second round of drinks appeared after the meal, and had to pay $15 to park (at a Dunwoody restaurant that's absurd). I've eaten at other Double Eagles before and this one did not live up to the standard. Definitely not worth the $600 we paid.
We celebrated out 30th wedding anniversary and noted so when making the reservation. The host recognized it. However, there wasn't anything special provided by the restaurant (e.g., complementary champagne, dessert, etc.). We have celebrated at other restaurants over the years that marked the occasion in celebratory ways. Other than that, while the food and service was very good, the prices are too high for no frills.
Great Mother’s Day thank you for being open! The food was great!
The appetizers were cold and the service from the waiter was slow and incompetent.
Food was pretty delicious (even though the asparagus appetizer was poorly cooked) Our service was SUPER slow and our server Dean only checked on us once with a brief walk by. He wasn’t at all concerned about our satisfaction.
Best place to dine. Highly recommended!
Another excellent meal. One of the nicest waitresses. Only bad thing is that they no longer have key lime pie on menu. Hope they bring that back! Once this Coronavirus thing has passed, I definitely recommend going to Del Frisco’s.
When you go to a supposed high-end steakhouse and order a tuner that you were told is sushi grade and she says she wants a rare rare rare seared. And it’s brown except for a slight pink in the middle. That’s not good. The food was OK and priced for excellence. Won’t go back. The weather was good though.
This was my second time at this restaurant, both the service and the food were worse this time than last. I ordered the same dry aged ribeye as I had last time. Then, it was one of the best steaks I‘be ever had, this time was very mediocre. The service was pushy and awkward. Not sure if I’ll be back.
Great food and service!
Great food but bread served before/with dinner not very good. Suggest to restaurant to skip the bread or serve bread that matches the rest of the food in quality and taset. While we thought that the food was all very good and top notch, all we keep talking about is how bad the bread was; not how a restaurant experience should be remembered! An outstanding wine menu.
Great experience and great food!
I've had better experiences but I'm willing to give them another shot the staff was apologetic about everything I will reserve my comments to a later date.
This was our first time at del frisco’s. I’ll start by saying that the dry aged steak we had was phenomenal. We absolutely loved that. The service was on the slow side and my drink had to be remade a couple of times. One of our sides didn’t come until after we were done eating, but our server was Apologetic and took it off our bill without question. We heard that the staff was new so this could have very well been why service was a little rocky while they are working out new kinks. The steak alone is reason enough for us to give it another try soon!
They were about 15 minutes late seating us from reservation time, not the end of the world on a Saturday evening. Tried to order Oysters to start but they were out, wanted to share a Porterhouse, but they were out( was also advised Lamb Chops were sold out too). We settled on the Filet Special that was supposed to be served with a Lobster and Scallop topping, they brought the filet plain and we had to ask for topping which they ended up bringing 10 minutes later on a small plate. Au Gratin potatoes were ok, cream corn tasted like a box of salt. It’s too bad they can’t figure things out, the location in New York is one of my favorite places to eat but unfortunately will not be going back to this one
Awful service. I explained to the hostess, waiter, and 2 managers how important the evening was. I tipped the waiter at the begging of the meal.
The restaurant staff made it clear that we were not welcome. Our server all but ignored us.
My husband hosted a work event at the restaurant for 25 people or more earlier in the year. Despite this, we were treated horribly.
We will not return.
