Excellent service by Luis and the rest of your staff.
We visit here often and it consistently delivers excellence. In a steak city you can count on Del Friscos to deliver at the top. The location is as prime as the steaks!
We love Del Frisco’s it never disappoints! We drive from Oklahoma for every birthday in our family!
Great upscale restaurant!
The manager Chris was outstanding. Very hospitable and customer service orientated. A great representation of the company. The food was outstanding. Can’t wait to comeback.
Excellent service and outstanding food. The steaks were terrific, but the crabcakes were out of this world.
Great anniversary experience!
Food was outstanding, per usual. All steaks cooked perfectly. Slightly disappointed we were seated in the bar section vs the dining room when our reservation was labeled as an anniversary dinner in advance. Dining room was not even full.
Phenomenal. Everything was spectacular. Service, food, treatment for birthday, drinks, dessert. Without a doubt a staple in our rotation now.
It was very impressive. The service and server was great, food and drinks was awesome, view/location wonderful.
The service was probably the best I have ever day. Everyone was so friendly. The food was absolutely great!
The atmosphere was welcoming from the time we walked through the doors! All the staff were amazingly helpful and so thoughtful with our anniversary card! Such a special event and the staff didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious and was presented beautifully with generous portions! We will be back!
Thank you for making our day so special!
Terrible drinks, low end Gin, flat tonic.
Tasteless lobster Mac and cheese, I guess they ran out of cheese.
Wait staff great at apologizing.
Bring your own drinks and sides.
The food is good, but the price you pay for the amount of food you get is unbelievably high. I got the seared tuna for lunch and it was $28 for 6 thin slices of tuna and that basically all you got and nothing else. I would not get that again.
The steaks were super high quality. Appetizers were good. We had the calimari, oysters and charred octopus. Surprisingly the octopus was very tasty, I wouldn’t have thought it would have been something I would have enjoyed but I did. I had one piece which was a 8” full tentacle. The 12 oz filet had good flavor and was a thick cut great for med rare to rare temperatures. Overall the party of 7 greatly enjoyed the meal. The service was a little slow and sporadic. We were ready to order appetizers but the server was no where to be found. Then they were a little slow taking the dinner orders. I would say the food is excellent, desserts were not as good as other restaurants I have eaten but still enjoyable. I would say that the price point was a little high. The meal came out to be about $200 per person.
Great service and fantastic food! waiter and manager were very friendly.
Always a great dining scene at Del's! Fantastic service and 10/10 food every time. Scattered Peaks Cabernet Sauvignon recommendation was especially worth the spend! Great time!
Birthday gave us a great dessert for free
Luis is the best! Very personable, very attentive. He always takes great care of me and whoever is in my party.
Our server was magnificent; his name was Brian. He was patient, helpful, he knew the menu and suggested a good wine for diner.
Inconsistent. I was really disappointed with my filet mignon. I ordered it medium, which I was told is a red center with pink to the edges. I cut into my steak and it was well done. Very small pink area in the middle and grey to the edges. The outside was also over charred. I never return my food, but just had to this time. They brought me another steak but it was still over cooked, more like a medium well. I went ahead and ate it and it wasn’t seasoned well and lacked flavor. There were two others in the party that ordered the same cut of steak at the same level. My wife’s steak was also overcooked, but she didn’t want to complain. My friend’s steak appeared to be cooked correctly at medium. This is my second time at the restaurant. The first time my steak was cooked correctly so they may just be very inconsistent.
Wife and I celebrated our first anniversary here. The restaurant greeted us with a card signed by all staff and a complimentary serving of champagne. The waitress, Heather, provided amazing service. When the kitchen made an error on our order, she seemed almost upset with the kitchen that the order wasn't perfect. She quickly fixed the error. I provide more weight to the way an establishment addresses an issue than if they're perfect every time. Heather gave us a few recommendations and they were spot on. Our server felt like a real person who was an advocate for our experience more than a stuffy suit type server. Very upper scale feel without being stuffy and pretentious. The manager, Steve, was more than willing to take a moment and hear our feedback on the experience, not concerned about rushing us off despite the restaurant being very busy. We don't normally go out for this pricey of a meal ($215 before tip) but we felt very comfortable and well taken care of the whole time. Highly recommend this place. Excellent food and stellar service
We went early on a Sunday. Beautiful restaurant and nice people there. We did their restaurant week menu. Filet with mashed potatoes. My steak was not cooked Medium a little on the rare side so I sent it back. It came back cooked ok but was very salty. So was my fiancé’s. Their mashed potatoes were filled with chunks of green onion which I thought were horrible. Not sure if I’d go back since there are quite a few other steakhouses in the area.
Have notified the restaurant in advance that it was our wedding anniversary however once we got there was not a mention of it is sort of disappointing
Our waitress, Ana was fabulous. We enjoyed her positive attitude and pleasantry. She is very good and an asset to your restaurant. We enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back!
The old saying you get what you pay for holds true here. Amazing service, steak, sides - the whole package for an upscale steak house. Modern decor but comfortable seating. Knowledgeable wait staff and sommelier. We went during restaurant week when the values were good and got one of the wines on special (had 5 teenagers in tow with my wife so had to keep overall cost somewhat reasonable) and cannot say how impressed I was. Great place!
We had a great couples date night while also celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious and the ambience was amazingly beautiful. Everyone had a great time.
Great food great ambience Great service Will be back again
The filet Mignon is amazing!! It’s seasoned and cooked to perfection! The staff is incredibly friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is perfect for a special occasion or anniversary dinner.
Great service! The steak was like butter! Best mashed potatoes of my life!
We had an amazing birthday day meal for my husband. Everything was perfect. My only complaint, and it is a very minor one at that, was that when we ordered our desserts to carry out (because we were so stuffed!), they gave us a strawberry cheesecake instead of the requested butterscotch. Thus, it was not discovered until the next day. That was the only slight disappointment. Everything else was perfect, and we loved our server Noah.
Great food and Service
First time trying out this location over the weekend. Food was as great as the Plano’s location. The services we received was nothing special though. It didn’t make us feel like we were at a $$ restaurant at all! My husband paid an arm and a leg for his 45 day dry-aged steak and only got to eat half of it because a customer walked by and accidenlty knocked down his glass of beer with her purse and spilled the beer all over his steak and on the table as well as on our clothes. She walked away without even noticing what she did...so no apologies there. Anyway, I know that wasn’t the restaurant fault so we didn’t give them a hard time or expecting anything so my husband basically wasted 1/2 of his meal there . Not to mention that we didn’t even get to enjoy our dinner at all since we had to stop eating and spent a good 5 minutes wiping down ourselves and the table while other customers were staring at us... It would be nice if our waitress showed some concerns about what had happened. She was informed about the incident but didn’t even care to ask if we need anything... one of the manager came out to check on us and offered to refill the glass of beer but nothing was done about the food, probably because what we ordered was too expensive. Anyway, that was an eventful night with a wasteful meal of $260 before tips.
Great trendy spot. Had great drinks. The food and service were outstanding! Would def return on our next trip.
With kids, date night is very rare. That's why when the opportunity presented itself, we wanted it to be special. Del Frisco's definitely lived up to our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and seated upstairs where we could view what was going on below as well as some of the uptown views. Our servers were exceptional and the food was outstanding. We would highly recommend the filet mignon, the 16 oz ribeye and last but not least - the lobster mac 'n cheese! Thanks to all of the staff who helped make this a very memorable evening!
The staff greeted us with a signed card wishing us a happy anniversary and 2 complimentary glasses of champagne. The waitress, El, was very great at giving tasty, yet cost effective recommendations. Both my wife and I commented that the 8oz filet cooked medium rare was the best steak we ever had. The $49 per person special during restaurant week was the way to go! It was an awesome experience. Can't wait to go back!
Went with a large group for lunch during restaurant week. This has to be the best value for $20 for all restaurants. Each of us had all the different combos....great salads, or lobster bisque.....6 oz filet, salmon, chicken wrap....great veggies....and either cheese cake or chocolate mousse. Service was great and the restaurant was fully staffed. The Del Frisco’s on McKinney is just a great restaurant period, and I was pleasantly shocked that the restaurant offered a $20 restaurant lunch experience.
Excellent food, great service. Validated parking receipt with garage next door makes it easy for uptown eating.
