The food and ambiance was fabulous. Carly was a great server and we enjoyed our experience. Thanks!
Sad this place has fallen. Zero dress code enforcement and it was very warm inside. It was once a classy place...it is no longer.
Paid no attention to note I placed in reservation, did not have table ready, wanted to sit us right next to bar when I had requested a quieter area in reservation. The first time in several visits they did not notice in the reservation that it was our anniversary. Always before we were greeted with acknowledgement of event.
We’re not the type to spend this kind of money on food but if we do, it’s at Del Friscos.
Great experience and awesome food. Would definitely recommend
We went to celebrate our grandson's 15th birthday. From the moment we walked in, the staff made him feel great. Our food was perfect and delivered on time.
Great food with friends. Staff was friendly and attentive.
We had an incredible dinner at Del Friscos’s to celebrate our anniversary. The food (salad, steaks, sides) was perfect and we loved our wine. The Prosecco from the staff was such a nice gesture to toast our date. And the service was impeccable, as usual. We even had a waiter who was being trained and he did a great job and deserves a full-time gig.
We loved our dinner and cannot wait to go back.
The food, cocktails and service were exceptional!
Great service and fantastic evening for wife’s Birthday.
It was great & food was amazing
Everything was great except for the $56 steak. I asked for medium rare red on the inside but warm came back pink and inside but warm don’t like sending things back so that was the only problem everything else was excellent service was excellent
My wife and I felt like it is important for you to know about our experience last night dining at DelFrisco's. We were celebrating our 14th anniversary and our experience was less than celebratory. Last night was our first time visiting the "fine dining" restaurant and will more than likely be our last. My 1st detailed experience was too long, so here are the bullets.
-Terrible waitress (April)that was distant, culturally insensitive and not knowledgeable for stating she has done this for 15 years.
-Seated near restroom in the dark, when reservation stated Special Occasion for 14th Anniversary.
-$67 ribeye was overcooked, when it was requested to be medium. Ate the steak due to absence of waitress.
-Waitress seemed irritated to take a special picture for us, while other wait staff seemed ecstatic to oblige other tables.
-Still tipped over 20% for terrible service after seeming to be deemed a table not worth the time.
This was my first time here. Gorgeous restaurant with an amazing wine selection and great bar atmosphere. Our server, Ryan, provided impeccable service from beginning to end and multiple other staff members stopped by to assist our table throughout the night. I started out with The VIP cocktail and I loved it. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was great but took a while to come out. My boyfriend and I each had the 3 oz. Japanese A5 wagyu and a pound of king crab legs to share with a few side dishes. We were both disappointed with the wagyu, but the crab legs were delicious. The side dishes were lukewarm, and the cream corn was not creamy at all. Halfway through our dinner, the lights turned up all the way to indicate the restaurant was closed. This was very disruptive and annoying, but the staff claimed the lights were on auto-timers that had to be adjusted after 11pm. About 10 minutes later, the lights dimmed back down but we had already finished eating our dinner in the bright lights. Overall, it was okay.
Steak was ok. Little under cooked. Sides were decent. Waiter took about 30 minutes to bring our check. For the price, I expect 5 star everything, it was not.
Del Friscos was once again SUPERB!! Everything was perfect as usual! We requested Ryan as our waiter once again & he did not disappoint. He is the best waiter hands down of any place that we have ever been! The food was fantastic, the lobster was off the chain delicious. We topped the night off with the butter cake & lemon cake & those were phenomenal as well.
Thank-you Ryan & Del Friscos for making my Birthday one to remember.
Our waitress was amazing and very attentive. We always have a great experience when we go there!
I am a fan of Del Frisco's and have never had a bad experience there. I am a very picky eater and this place never disappoints accommodating my simple requests. I've been taken care of by wonderful servers but Alex is King. Omg, he strives to make me happy and always succeeds. So, great food, great service.
The whole experiencia was awesome!
Perfectly cooked delicious steaks and sides. Our server Ryan was outstanding. Will be asking to sit at one of his tables when I return!
Such an amazing experience all around! Highly recommend for any occasion!
Birthday party for wife with kids
Food was great as usual. The only reason it was not all 5 stars was they added on a tip of 18%. That cost the server about $25.00 as I would have tipped more then 18%. Everything else was good.
Great location for a business lunch. Excellent service.
We waited more than an hour for our meal and the manager never acknowledged the issue.
My husband and I went to Double Eagle for my birthday and received the worst service. It was noted that it was my birthday on the reservation, and we were not acknowledged for over 10 minutes after we were sat. The staff gave us bread and we finished two rolls before the drink orders were taken and delivered to us. The waiter was MIA most of the dinner, took 20-30 minutes between checking on us. After the food came, he did not check on us until we had to flag him down to get the check. At the 2 hour and 15 minute mark was when I stepped in and said I wanted the check to leave immediately. He proceeded to help the other tables and get them coffee and desserts before bringing the tab and then waiting more time to run the card before getting back to us. The restaurant changed some recipes on the sides that were not to our liking, but the service was so awful, it was unable to get anything corrected. Hesitant on coming back, otherwise I would avoid Nathaniel as a server if going.
Definitely, a beautiful evening in downtown Dallas. The valet was extremely nice and the crowd was great to see.. our server was very nice. Service came with a smile. The dress code is in full force. Restaurant was loud but not unpleasant. Everyone was having a good time. Excellent wine selection. I had the lobster trio. Flavorful and colorful. The oysters were full of kick. Our evening was an Anniversary outing.
Great experience with wonderful food!
The food is awesome, drinks are pretty good too, but the service was subpar considering we spent quite a bit of money on dinner. The server seemed to be avoiding our table, checking on everyone else more frequently than us. I tried to catch his attention with no luck, then when someone dropped off our appetizers I tried to ask him a question, but he just left.
I ended up having to go to the bar myself to get a cocktail. When my husband brought it up to the waiter to ensure he didn't charge us for it since I paid for it at the bar, the server didn't even apologize for forgetting my drink. He just said "Yeah I saw her go to the bar".
I also asked the server if he could clear our table of all of the wine glasses since only one person ordered wine, and he said "Yeah I was gonna do that", but they had been sitting on the table for at least 30 minutes after everyone ordered.
Ultimately I was just very unimpressed with the service. I think its possible we probably just got a very new waiter who didn't have much experience or maybe he was having a bad day.
I would be surprised if we come again since it left a bad taste in our mouth.
Overall experience was great.
Our waiter was great! The food was only ok...it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. It seemed to take a long time to get our food and the restaurant was too warm. We were not comfortable temperature wise at all. The calamari and creamed spinach was the best.
Omg the steak ? TO DIE FOR !! so tender and travels so well!!! & don’t even get me started on the Mac & Cheese …..sooooooo cheesy!
Service and food were good. Waitress was attentive. I would recommend ro friends.
The atmosphere was great, the customer service was excellent and our food exceeded what we expected. The portions were just right and the food was delicious!
With the exception of my guest and i sweating over dinner from it being extremely hot due to the AC being out all k
Dress code was enforcement, steak were tough, hostess Jessica was rude when ask about the dress code
Unacceptable to have people sitting at the bar tables wearing gym shorts. The definition of medium vs medium well should be explained better. The waitress rushed through it and got a sealed rare meat. Cooking it further is not optimum.
We got out of a movie and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat.
The food was overpriced and it was not worth it. I don't mind paying for great food but that was not the case. This place is more to go and have a
This was my 2nd time there I’m from out of town my first time was great this time my steak was not cooked correct twice
