Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Uptown
Excellent service and most importantly the beef was exquisite! Definitely worth future visits!
Overall a pretty good experience. We feel ae though the waiter had too many tables to help with the experience we expected. This did not feel like the special night we expected. This was a dinner for my wife's 39th birthday. Noone asked what brought us in for the night or anything. Maybe thats not apart of your presentation but it's what we've grown to expect from such highly praised establishments. We will not go as far to say we wouldn't come again, just expected a better experience for the wife. We felt as though we were sitting at a bar with friends because we were so close to it. We hope this review is read. Thanks.
Our waitress was very attentive and even helped suggested some alternate items to try since my husband cannot have shellfish. It was his first time dining here and he loved it.
Our waiter wasn’t as good as we expected him to be. He didn’t come check on us Very often.
We even had another waiter come wait on us because he saw we didn’t get the service. But over all it was a good experience, but we just wished we had a better server.
After a failed attempt at another restaurant, we found Del Frisco's had availability and jumped on the opportunity. What a treat it was! They have a great wine list. The carpaccio was fantastic, my wife had the lobster (24oz), and I had the Sea Bass, both were tremendous. Top it with a very professional waiter and you have a winner!
The apps were very good, Wagyu is good, but don’t think because it’s on the menu and an option, that it’s better than a prime filet or any other prime cut... it’s just different. I got the seared tuna and it was missing part of the dressing to it, and after we received our main course our waiter did not come around for awhile, didn’t ask if we were happy or anything. I have had better seared tuna at Trulucks. But I also got Wagyu, so it’s not like I went to a steak house and didn’t get steak. Overall, I will never return on a Friday or Saturday night. I have been during the week when it was busy and it was a much quieter place and respectful of what you are paying of dinner. But Friday and Saturday they play very loud music to cover the clientele that comes in to drink and hang out for hours, not for a romantic date. And the music is not even good. Also, manager didn’t come by once to check on us, and that’s a usual thing for a nicer restaurant.
Ive been here a couple times, and they really struggle with steaks. This time we had a crap cake and scallops, both of which were terrific. The scallops were huge, seared perfectly on the outside and like butter on the inside. However, the steaks are just not good. Last time we got a filet and a ribeye-This time I tried a porterhouse. They were slightly over cooked, gristly, and just lacked flavor. I would come here for sea food, but avoid their beef.
Celebrated my fiancé birthday and we loved it.
Outstanding, the best food I have ever had. Beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere and service. Wish I could go back weekly.
Our Wedding Anniversary & Valentines
We’ve always had a wonderful experience here, but Valentine’s Day was not as lovely as previous experiences . No need to highlight the details as the manager made it right and we will return.
We visited Dallas and had a wonderful dining experience at Del Frisco. The wait staff was so attentive. Thank you!
James was the perfect server. Very attentive when we needed something and discrete otherwise. Will absolutely return and ask for him.
Del Frisco's Double Eagle has been our go-to for special occasions for years. And, when we say special occasion we mean steak and when we say steak we mean Del Frisco's. They have the VERY BEST quality steaks with the VERY BEST attentive, knowledgable, fun service.
My husband always says his bone-in peppercorn rib eye is soooo f'ing GOOOOD! Just know this: NEVER interrupt me during my first bite of my rare-cool filet mignon. Seriously, I mean it! OMGEEEEEEEE!
Our waiter was great. He was helpful and friendly the entire time. The chilled shrimp and dipping sauces were great. All the sides and dishes were great except for my 14oz wagyu ribeye. Overall taste was good but it had entirely too much fat. I ordered it a few months ago and it was phenomenal. So a bit disappointed.
Great food and friendly staff
The food was great and the service was fine. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
Perfect place for a special occasion. They treat you special and very attentive to making your dining experience the best!
We entered and were told to follow the host to a table—which turned out to be upstairs. A third of the downstairs dining room was empty.
I requested a table downstairs and we were led to one.
My worry—two of our diners were obese. Was this fat-shaming?
We celebrate at DF two to 3 times a year. This was a birthday, so noted on our reservation. We anticipated sitting in the main room, as always.
We’ll think twice about reserving there again.
Great place for special occasions! Food was outstanding!
The food and service was good. I would recommend this restaurant.
Took clients here. The restaurant obviously was not expected to be that busy on a Tuesday. Bought 6 oz of wagyu and it was average at best. Very underwhelmed. Hopefully it was just an off night. The place was jumping and the atmosphere was good.
Luis the waiter was great. 2 nights in a row eating here.
Del Frisco's had a great menu, great food, and great service. Our waitress, Flor, had good recommendations, paced out our meal really well, and was a general delight to have as a server. Our steaks were outstanding, and we left the restaurant stuffed and wanting to come back!
Ryan, our server, was wonderful and very nice. The food was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The atmosphere was pleasant and elegant. This was my first time at Del Frisco's and I will definitely be back.
Amazing Experience. I brought my wife here for her birthday. From the start, the valet parking was simple. Walking to the restaurant was a breeze, and once inside, we were greeted immediately by a friendly smile and attitude. We were immediately seated upstairs, by the bar. It was still a bit early so the place wasn't packed, so noise levels were ok. It got busy for a minute when a large group came upstairs and were congregating by the bar, but once they got their drinks, they retreated to their table and noise level went to minimal.
Our server was outstanding, and each course that came out, the staff was courteous, and attentive.
The food was delicious, and compared to other upscale restaurants in town, the prices were very fair.
3 minutes before we left, I hailed valet to pull my truck around via text message, and right as we walked up, the truck pulled up.
Overall, excellent experience. I will definitely be returning to Del Frisco's DE Steakhouse!
Great service and ambiance but steaks were overcooked.
The steak was tough and the baked potato was hard and stale.
Our favorite steak house. We always make time for Dels when we’re in Dallas.
Good place for a business meeting. Great food and service - as always!
Service was terrible. Food was mediocre at best.
Jim, our waiter, was EXCEPTIONAL.
If you enjoy great food combined with incredible and friendly staff & service then don’t even consider going elsewhere. That’s all I have to say. If you don’t go, it will be your loss!
best Place to celebrate with friends and family!!!!
Service was great as always!
We took a client out for dinner. The lobster on the appetizer was either undercooked or bad, either way it was sent back. The wine and dinner was very good.
Rebekah was an outstanding waitress!!!
