Felt very rushed. Had a reservation for 330 but wasn’t sat until 4. The hostess was pretty rude about it when I asked how long our wait would be. Food was good but you could tell the waiter wanted to flip the table because we were ordering from the restaurant week menu.
Food and waiter were excellent. Front of house left a bad taste in my mouth.
Love it. Good food.
Great food experience! Great waiter service! Horrible front desk! Cold afternoon and ask to stay outside and rudely greeted when allowed to enter. Told we could complain if we did not like it....need more training on customer service and how to deal with difficult situations!
Our reservation on 1/20/19 at 4:00 pm. We arrived around 3:40 pm. The restaurant was not open yet. There was one door open where a few of us waited because it was so cold outside. A few of the workers knocked on the door and we let them in. The hostess screamed at us and said do not let anyone else in! Another worker knocked on the door and we were all afraid to let them in. The hostess unlocked the revolving door but she she did not give directions. The people that were in the doorway arrived first but a crowd of people started going through the revolving door at the restaurant first. She took my reservation, and we were one of the first tables seated, but we were one of the last people to be waited on. There was a crowd of people at the front door and waiting in the aisle downstairs waiting to be seated. We were only waited on because I kept asking people who was our server. After asking quite a few people, we were finally served by Maatia. He said that we were sitting at the wrong table so we did not get waited on. Our servers were nice and the food was delicious. Thank goodness for our servers and the delicious food because I really did not want to come to this restaurant again.
Food was awesome and delicious defintely coming back
Great value for restaurant week. For some reason every time I come to this restaurant we are always seated in the vault. It would be nice to sit upstairs sometime. Also the salted Carmel mousse had no salt and no Carmel. When we questioned our waitress about it she offered no explanation and said “I just work here.” Then made a comment that we sure ate enough of it to try and find the salt and Carmel. Never said we didn’t like, we were just wondering why there was no Carmel or salt. But ok, if that’s your response.
This was my second time hear for restaurant week. Food was great as usual. My only complaint is that my girlfriend and I ordered a glass of the house wine thinking it was cheaper than even the wine listed on the restaurant week menu, but the house wine was in fact more expensive. When we ordered it, the waiter never informed us if the major price difference. It was a minor inconvenience, but it would've been nice to have know that information prior to ordering it
Would have helped if their web site said what street the valet parking was on since it was not on the same street as the main entrance on
Great experience! Food was delicious and our server terry (I think) was very nice
First time here, we loved it! The building is very cool and the service was wonderful. Will definitely be returning!
The food was delisi
Our waiter Joey B did a great a true asset to the restaurant
Nick are Waiter was fabulous. Very attentive, knowledgeable and extremely friendly.
Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE Del Frisco's? This was my second time here and it was just as good, if not better, than the first time. The hostesses were professional and friendly. The server was attentive and the staff as a whole works as a team to ensure excellent service is provided to all. The crab cakes are my favorite as they are moist and flavorful. The cheesecake is creamy with the pecan crust giving it a uniqueness that separates it from any other. The chocolate mousse was smooth and sweet without being overpowering. Even the salad was good with just the right amount of ingredients to bring together the flavors. I will return over and over again as Del Frisco's has shown me what fine dining should be.
I’ve been there several times in the past and the food is always delicious!
The building was incredible and the food amazing. We really enjoyed trying this great restaurant.
Our party of six (and 20 month old baby) celebrated two birthdays and a wedding anniversary on Saturday evening. The food was delicious, service very attentive and atmosphere very nice. Our dessert was presented with burning candles for our birthdays--loved it!
Highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food, the meal took a while to come out but the server was polite and attentive as much as she could be, considering the loud/ busy ambience.
This was my third time having dinner at Del Frisco's. I must say that the food wasn't as good as the first 2 times. Please change restaurant week menu to offer a better selection. Overall, the waitress, staff, and ambiance made up for the not so tasty food.
The service was excellent but the food was good. Just not your normal top notch. Had better meals during non-restaurant week.
It was a very wonderful day experience. We were seated very quickly. The waiters and waitresses were very well-dressed and provided great services along with managers that walk the floor conversating to make sure your experience was great. The food was absolutely mouth-watering delicious.
I’ve eaten at all the top steakhouses and my dinner at Del Frisco’s was the best steak dinner I’ve had. Thank you for great service, ambiance and most importantly the perfectly cooked steaks.
We went to DelFrisco Double Eagle Steakhouse for dinner during restaurant week. The building was built as a bank almost 100 years ago and the restaurant is gorgeous! The giant marble pillars, the enormous stairway leading to the 2nd floor balcony and of course the lower level vault. You can actually eat inside the vault but I would recommend the upstairs balcony. The lobster bisque was good but served at room temperature. I prefer it served a bit warmer.
Filet mignon was tender and very tasty. The chateau potatoes were excellent as was the cheesecake for dessert. All in all an excellent meal served in a gorgeous setting.
My daughter thought it was the best steak she has ever eaten
Del Friscos is my fave--my goto spot whenever I can get there. My only issue is there is a bad draft (during the cold weather months) in the table seating along the stairs (and pillar) to the right as you enter the main dining area. During the warm weather months, this area is situated directly under the AC vent. I've sat there recently on two separate occasions and the wind draft and blast from the AC is quite unpleasant. Other than that, I love this place!
Terrible during Restaurant Week. Tiny tables, bad attitude of the hostesses...Not a place to go again.
My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary. Perhaps it was because we went during restaurant week that it was very much crowded and noisy, and not quite the romantic vibe I was hoping for. Our food was tasty, however my boyfriend’s steak that he ordered to be cooked medium was ice cold in the middle. We didn’t fuss however he just let it warm up on the sizzling hot plate it was served on. Our server was very warm and friendly which made our experience. Overall we had an ok time, not sure it was something I’m dying to go back for.
Clearly overbooked. Wait 30 minutes after reservation to get seated. Servers had too many tables. Attention to our table was lacking.
I went to Del Frisco’s last year for restaurant week and was expecting the same level of great food, but I was disappointed. The lobster bisque (that had fresh poached lobster on top of the soup last year) was lacking any lobster; the additional sauce I ordered on my steak tasted “old” and I could not finish my meal. I ended up sending the filet mignon back and ordered the crab cakes to go.
Food was just ok when I'm paying 75 plus for a plate. Had to send my three of the five steak back because I asked for medium and received well done. Waitor was nice.
We were there to celebrate two birthdays during Restaurant Week. Service was outstanding but the food was average.
Enjoyed a great dinner during restaurant. Great food, good service!
Excellent food; friendly, helpful service. The atmosphere is amazing. Must see the vault area.
We dined during Center City District Restaurant week. The food was delicious. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered. A fine meal.
Beautiful place. Food was delicious although a bit salty to my taste!
We went to Del Frisco's for Restaurant Week: you can't beat lobster bisque, a filet, and chocolate mousse for $20! Filet was delicious and cooked perfectly (rare w/warm center). Lobster bisque was blah - no lobster! Mousse was delicious. Overall, great ambiance and great deal!
Restaurant week. Food was average. Lobster bisque was very thin.
Dinner was great until the end where we saw a mice 🐭. Told the waitress, Kimberly about it. She saw it with her own eyes and said “Wow. I’m so sorry, but that is disgusting.” When we paid for our dinner and walked out of vault, my fiancé mention it to the manager, Eric. All he said was, “Did you guys finished your meal?” My fiancé replied, “Yes. Just want to let you guys know so you can take care of this problem since other guest around us was disgusted.”
A group of 6 of us went here for restaurant week. We could not have been happier with our evening. The restaurant is beautiful, the food absolutely delicious and our waiter could not have been better!! The menu for restaurant week was really perfect and we were able to enjoy some delicious drinks with a great bartender prior to our reservation. I have been to many steak houses downtown and it has been hit or miss on the steak being cooked to perfection, but they nailed it. It was perfectly medium rare as ordered. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
