We had a wonderful time celebrating two special birthdays. Our server Nick was excellent.
We dined at Del Frisco’s for my husband’s 60th birthday with several friends, and everyone now considers Del Frisco’s their favorite steak house after our experience. From the service to the unbelievably superior beef, this is one great place to eat. We tried a variety of dishes, including lobster, bone-in ribeye (the best ever), the filet (with different toppings), and filet medallions, and several sides (creamed corn, brussel sprouts, onion rings, and mashed potatoes). Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was also outstanding. The wait staff was there when you needed them for refills or questions, but did not hover.
Our waitress was also very sweet and brought out a small selection of complimentary chocolate and butter cakes, and what a nice surprise. It’s restaurants like this that separate good from excellent, and Del Frisco’s is definitely in the excellent category.
We are looking forward to our next dining experience with them.
Great table the server was excellent. You can’t go wrong going here for any occasion.
We went to Del Friscos for my daughters graduation celebration. It was outstanding! The waiter was great and so informative. The food was excellent and would definitley go back again!
Very expensive, but worth the experience. Quality food, service and the noticeable individual attention given to you by your waiter/waitress! All staff were very professional
And courteous, not snooty at all. The kind of experience you would expect when spending that kind of $$.
Great place to celebrate any special occasion. Thanks for the complimentary 40th birthday dessert. It was delicious.
Great crab cakes, tuna tartare and Alaskan crab legs. Entree Tuna arrived cold when we wanted it rare and warm sent it back and it was fine. Lobster Mac and cheese was undercooked. Lemon cake Is too sweet for our liking. Service was great, friendly and accommodating waitress.
Always a great dinning experience. This time we sat at the bar and it was just as nice.
The calamari was outstanding! The strip steak was excellent-very tender and delicious. The filet, however, was fair at best and the mashed potatoes were too peppery. The molten chocolate cake was tasty but not molten.
Excellent as usual. Del Manhattan a favorite. Pricey but centrally located , great service.
Poor service, long wait times and various menu items were not available.
We had a very bad start to the evening. After arriving on time for our scheduled reservation, we were kept waiting for about half an hour extra. The service was also not great and the staff were not very pleasant. Considering the price range of this restaurant, the quality of service should be a lot better.
I was very disappointed with tonight's dinner. Our food was cold. My mother's lobster tail was tough. And we waited a very longtime for our entrees. We arrived at 5:40, seated at 5:50. Ordered by 6:05. We received our meal at 7:20. We left at 7:45 pm. After informing the waitress about the temperature of the food she avoided us until we ask for the check. Unacceptable
Double eagle aged double bone prime ribeye is awesome, easily better than wagyu tomahawk chop! Would have them again on our next visit!
We were in there on Mother's Day and had the best service from John. Food was on point and so was the drinks. He was very nice and personal with us. Thanks John! He also took a group picture of us.
The steaks are second to none, over all a great experience. The service felt a bit rushed but I guess because it was mother's day it was kind of expected but when you spend more than $500 on a meal for 4, I thought maybe it would have felt less rushed. I would go back for the food.
I made reservations at Del Frisco for my mother-in-law and myself for Mother's Day. We both enjoyed the food and the mood of the restaurant. Del Frisco is an excellent restaurant to select for any occasion.
Hostess (Twins) are incredible!!! Michelle, was also wonderful.
Had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch!! Thank you!
Had a great dinner would recommend it to anyone rather their for a special occasion or just everyday dinner
It was a wonderful experience we had a great waitress Erin who took care of all our needs. The food was absolutely delicious as usual. We will definitely be back again.
Always a great meal and environment. Service is top notch, with nice recommendations and food is always terrific! If you want a classic fine dining experience - must visit.
Had dinner in the vault and really enjoyed the more private setting.
We took our Mother who is very hard to please being the retired chef that she is to Del Frisco's and she was in heaven the moment she took the first bite of her perfectly cooked medium rare steak,we laughed and enjoyed the food, atmosphere as well as the ambience provided via the well thought out floor plan. Our dining experience at Del Frisco's was nothing short of euphoric.
All staff member were frienly and courteous. Our server was knowlegeable and exemplified professionalism at its best. My wife and I really enjoyed the ambiance and great food. The special occasion was for Mother's Day
We were very well-accommodated at every turn. The food was phenomenal and the service was also superb. When I ordered a drink too strong for my tastes, the server intuitively picked up on my dislike of the cocktail even though I made no mention of it. Upon inquiring about my drink, she offered an extra lemonade (the original mixer component in the drink) on the side as a dilute option that I could use to make the drink more palatable to my tastes. It was a small detail and it was really a non-issue for me but the fact that she took the time to make sure even that small detail was just right really spoke to how attentive the staff was without being overbearing.
For our first time it was Exceptional it was my Girlfriend and I Anniversary and from the food to the service it was great I loved the setting the mood the atmosphere it was Great
From the time we arrived staff was friendly and helpful. From appetizers to dessert everything was prepared for a mouth watering experience. Excellent!
My first time to Philadelphia and on the last night of our business trip, myself and a co-worker decided to visit Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House and we were very satisfied with our experience. The food was delicious and the wait staff were very responsive and professional. A manager even greeted us and thanked us for our patronage as well.
From the minute we walked in and were greeted, at the bar and our waiter it was fabulous. The food is spectacular and let’s not forget about the heavenly lemon cake... the delicious thing ever to be eaten!!!
I just love the food, service, ambience. I love everything about Delfriscos
Was celebrating Birthday and enjoyed the experience.
Extremely disappointing lunch. First, the restaurant had to be 65 degrees- so cold I was uncomfortable and that’s usually not an issue for me. Our server, Meghan, was pleasant enough, but really fell flat on food delivery. Meals were brought out without serving the salad that I ordered or the soup my one guest ordered. My other guest ordered coffee during the meal, again because it was FREEZING, but the coffee was never served. After the lunch, no check in with us at the table, instead she just brought us the check. By then I had enough and complained. They comped one of the two appetizers as a make good, but that really wasn’t satisfactory. I thought when I entered I should bring my wife some time, by the time I left I said to myself I won’t be back. For a restaurant like this they should be able to deliver a much better experience. I’ve been there before and always left content, not this time.
We went to Del Friscos on Sunday. We had out of town guests and this is a beautiful building we thought our friends would love. I had been here before and felt the service has slipped a little. We did arrive 20 minutes before our reservation and couldn't be seated. This was no issue, we were told to wait in the bar area. There were several other parties in the same position and the servers/hostesses just seemed confused on which parties were where. Not a huge deal, but for a restaurant charging easily $50+ a plate, I expect a little more finesse. There is a Sunday special menu that we were not offered or told about when we were seated. Having been here on a Sunday, I knew it existed, the special is also listed on the website. I was not thrilled by the menu basically being hidden. And when we did ask about it, we were only brought 2 menus for our table of 4.
On to the food - it was good. The Sunday deal is a salad, steak (choice of 2 cuts) with crab cake, and choice of side. We all chose the Sunday pairing, but added some extra sides and appetizers. Steaks were cooked exactly as we ordered and mostly seasoned very well (one person in our party felt it was a little over-seasoned, but still very good). Sides were a mix - mashed potatoes and lobster mac and cheese were standard steak house fare. Creamed spinach was pretty awful. Caesar salad (generally a steak house staple) was weak.
For $59, the Sunday dinner is a good deal. The building is absolutely beautiful and is worth a visit for this or even just for pre- or post-dinner drinks if you are eating elsewhere. For normal night, when the same meal would cost double, it's way over priced and you should head to Butcher and Singer down the street. I certainly don't mind paying high-end prices, especially for a steak house, but at those as prices the food does need to be outstanding. Unfortunately, Del Friscos is good but not great.
My fiancée and I decided to come here for his birthday dinner since it’s one of his favorite places to get a good steak. Overall, it was a good experience. However, I gave the food 4 out of 5 stars since I ordered the sea bass and it came out cold. The server and floor manager offered to take it back and warm it up, but I didn’t want my fish to be reheated. It was good cold, but it would taste better if it was warm/hot. My fiancée did enjoy his perfect steak.
Can never go wrong with Del Frisco’s...although I will say that this time the service was a little sub par. The waiter Jeff started off great and then seemed to get annoyed that our party wanted to take their time ordering each course. By the end of the night, when we let him know we would be taking certain dishes home, he opted to drop to-go boxes off at the table rather than taking the food to the back and boxing it for us (like they’ve done every other time we’ve gone). Hey maybe he was just having a bad night, but overall good food and good times!
Cocktails and steaks were terrific! I had a delicious filet and my husband had one of the dry-aged steaks which he enjoyed. Cocktails, tasty versions of a martini and a Manhattan, were well made. The appetizers and side we ordered were not as extraordinary as the steaks. Caesar salad just okay, crab cake was tasty and a lot of crab, but again nothing special. The creamed spinach same. Great service from our waiter who willingly answered questions and gave recommendations when asked.
Food was phenomenal. Service was average. Hostess was very confused and seemed to be in over her head. First she didn't have our reservation. Then she had it down as the wrong time. Finally after waiting at the bar we were given our table 30 minutes late
