Love Del Frisco’s. Everything about it was beautiful- the food the service the ambiance. A perfect evening thanks to Del Frisco’s.
Everything was great! We recommend sharing the sides because you get a lot.
Overall, was a pretty good meal. Had chilled seafood and salad wedge to start, both excellent. We ordered bone-in Filet and Strip. Meat cuts were nice and thick, cooked perfect. Service by waitress we had was terrific.
On the downside, the side we ordered (Lobster Mashed Potatoes) was terrible and should not be offered as a special without major improvements. We have had this dish multiple time in other restaurants and this was truly awful...so bad we didn't even eat it after one bite. They simply poured lobster bisque over unseasoned bland potatoes. Please don't serve this to anyone again, just awful.
In terms of drinks, need to teach your bartenders how to make a Moscow Mule. Many restaurants struggle to make a Mule correctly, Del Friscos joined the club. First, make sure you put enough vodka in it. Mine received one shot rather than the two to balance the Ginger Beer. Also, the lime juice should have been 1/2 shot, instead it was overpoured and I think it was about 1 1/2 shots. All you could taste was the lime juice.
Lastly, please fix the check-in process with the hostesses. What a nightmare with people unable to enter and leave the restaurant, along with people having no place to wait once they check-in. It creates for a poor start to a dining experience to have to wait 8 minutes to check-in with your reservation while people are plowing through you to enter and leave the restaurant.
From the time you walk through the door until you leave, the service was phenomenal! Our waitress was very attentive to our needs - we had someone who had a seafood allergy at the table, made recommendations, and overall was such a pleasure to meet.
Ordered our steak medium well steak came out Med rare.. sent back and the steak came out the same as when I sent it back. Had potatoes aug and the potatoes were raw and very hard. Manager came to the table and only said that she could get us something else but by then we were already done eating by the time she came to the table.. so she said she was very sorry.
It was nice
Everything was awesome the food was great service was awesome
You a premium for the name. I’m glad I went for vday but wouldn’t go again. The bathroom attendant was a really tacky touch.
The atmosphere was the biggest letdown. The seat arrangement was awkward and the vibe of the restaurant was disappointing.
The Double Eagle was the best steak I’ve ever had, period.
You can’t die without eating here at some point in your life.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here for Valentine’s Day! Our waiter was great as well as the food. Best steaks we ever had! Highly recommend!
Steak salad was to die for lobster bisque was amazing and the drinks were on point
The salmon was sub par, but then again it is a steak house. Overall, everything else was great.
This was my first time dining at Del Friscos and was blown away by the quality of food, service, and atmosphere! Everything was fantastic, including our server, Michael! What a wonderful evening!
Our server _ massaro was excellent. Great guy and very personable. Will be back. (Forget his first name)
My husband and myself were celebrating our 8 year anniversary so he supersized me and bought me here everything was beautiful everything tasted great our service was great the waitress found the type of wine and taste we wanted and because we were celebrating our anniversary she gave us a free dessert which was the actually the dessert we were going to order it was just wonderful differently look forward to returning back thank you.
Food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. Would definitely recommend any one to go there for a romantic date night.
Food was amazing, atmosphere was great. Staff was exceptional. I had made a note during my reservation that it was my husban’s birthday. The hostess said happy birthday when we checked in and gave us a table with a great view. The waitress also came out at the end of the meal with 2 cakes and said happy birthday to him. It was a great night and I appreciated the personal touches.
Amazing food. Outstanding service. Perfect way to celebrate our dad’s 71st birthday!
We came here once before and loved it but we are very displeased after this visit. The service was very rushed since the moment we sat down. The waiter showed some attitude when we didn’t know what we were going to order right away. Our steak was cold in the middle and had to be sent back. They gave us the same steak that seemed liked it was microwaved and it was very tough. Once again everything was rushed and my husband wasn’t even asked if he would like another drink even though he had been sitting with an empty glass for a while. For what the price is and the type of restaurant, we didn’t feel like we should have felt this way
We had an excellent meal. It was our first time there and we would absolutely come back. Our server, Justin was fantastic!! Only downside, was the check-in process. We had reservations for four at 5 pm. The valet parking area was not easily visible (it's actually on the side of the building rather than the front of the restaurant), causing two of us to go inside and check in and the others to circle the block to find the parking lot. We were told to let the desk personnel know when we were all there. Within minutes, we were all present and still had to wait another 15 minutes for our table. The check in area seemed a bit chaotic. Other than that, it was a great evening.
The floor manager and waitress were very helpful getting us through dinner in time to get to our show at the Met. We were late getting to the restaurant and they both made sure we had timely service. I will be early on our next visit and enjoy the experience even more
Christian and Jen were awesome. Food was great. We will be back!
Del Frisco’s is stunningly beautiful, great food, excellent service and they topped our evening off with a special dessert for the birthday girl! Thanks DF!!!
Cocktail drinks took a while to get served each time we ordered. Staff was nice and brought out free dessert and did not charge for the round of drinks that was supposed to be served with dinner. Food was still delicious!
We were celebrating a “special occasion” so we thought until our special occasion was not special enough for the restaurant. The hostess’s at the front asked what our occasion was and we said “girl’s night and early birthdays.” After being mocked for that response from the first hostess and then hearing the second say “girls night is NOT a special occasion” in a snarky tone, we were left feeling extremely uncomfortable and had a bad taste in our mouth before even getting to our table. My friend is going through a really rough time so we wanted to take her out to celebrate the good things in life and that experience was tainted by the staff at this restaurant. They spent about 5 minutes looking for a new table because apparently we were not worthy of the first one we were put at. We were finally led to our table upstairs. We were greeted by an extremely kind server, but for all of the money you pay to eat here he forgot two of our drinks and got our order wrong. I will definitely not be back. Next time we do another “girls night” I’ll be sure to take my business to the capital grille.
Wonderful!! Service was great, food was exceptional!
The shrimp cocktail was fresh, oversized & delicious. The salmon & filet were cooked perfectly & of the highest quality. The cocktails & service were also spot-on.
Went in on a Thursday evening for hubby's birthday and it was busy with the happy hour crowd. Beautiful, spacious, with a 3 story wine cellar. We were seated in a comfy booth and Kristin took very good care of us. We had the wagyu beef carpaccio to start which was so delicious! We then decided to share an entree special of beef filet 3 ways, as well as sides of creamed spinach and lobster mashed potatoes. All were absolutely perfect in preparation and presentation. Then they brought out this beautiful dessert of chocolate souffle cake and their homemade butter cake with whipped cream and ice cream which were outstanding - even though we had little room left to eat it all! The management periodically checked in on us to make sure we were well taken care of - which we were. When the check came we saw that the dessert was comped. We thank you for such a wonderful birthday dinner, and we'll be back!!
I've eaten here before, and always had a good experience. This time however, they made us wait quite a while, even though we had a reservation. I ordered the steak medium rare, which the waiter confirmed meant warm, red center. The steak came out with cold red center. I should have sent it back, but didn't since we waited so long for our table. The waiter was very good, so no issues there, but the whole experience was not up to snuff for the $ paid.
Great service. Great food
great food beautiful place great great people working best place in philly
Incredible service !!
The ribeye was cooked just right with a great selection of sides
We had a wonderful lunch and the service was great. We went for a co-workers birthday and late holiday lunch and the food and atmosphere was great. Will definitely come back again.
I feel like this restaurant has gotten comfortable. It is on of the best places in Philly to actually get the best steak for the expensive price and this time they missed the mark. The bone-in rib eye is my favorite cut of steak. I had it there multiple times and have always been impressed by the cut and the taste of this cut from there. That night they were off and the food was over cooked. I also ordered the cheese steak egg rolls. These are usually very good, but again that night they were over cooked and dry. They took those off of my bill, but i will give them a break for now until they do some soul searching and improve.
This was our first time dining at Del Frisco's and let me tell you, it exceeded our expectations. We were seated earlier than our reservation when we arrived ahead of schedule with light traffic without any issue. Our table was spacious and comfortable and afforded us the most amazing views of this incredible building and its architecture. I found myself looking up at the ornate ceiling quite often. JP was our server and could not have been more attentive and knowledgeable. While I was slightly disappointed that they did not have veal chops that evening, the melt-in-your-mouth filet more than made up for it. JP's recommendation on wine for our meal was spot on and we finished the night with two mouth watering deserts and coffee. The only thing I could possible have wished different is that we would have tried the lobster mashed potatoes that he recommended but I would have needed another stomach for all of the food. NEXT TIME!!!! And yes, there will be a next time for sure!
Food was delicious I had the calamari which melted in my mouth, and the steak was sooo tender and juicy I can’t wait to visit again. Also the entire Staff was very inviting and atmosphere was comfortable.
The food and service were very good. The only issue was being seated approximately 40 minutes after our reservation.
I was pretty disappointed with our meal at Del Frisco's. Firs of all, when we arrived we had to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. We walked in and everything felt extremely chaotic. People were just loitering around the restaurant, those standing by the bar were obstructing the walking space in the dining area. The restaurant was also surprisingly loud. Food was sub-par at best (my father ordered the Wagyu sampler to celebrate his birthday and half of it was inedible) and service was slow. The one redeeming quality of our meal was the celebratory dessert that was gifted to us- we received a generous plate of cakes with ice cream and it was delicious! If anything, I'd recommend skipping the steak dinner and just going for dessert!
