Buttered Brioche Bun
Everything was good from the food to the service. It was a chilly in the restaurant, they could do better keeping the restaurant heated on colder evenings. Other than that our waiter Anthony was great, the manager was very nice he came to check in our table a few times to ensure we had a great experience.
Ate at the bar and service was great. Philly favorite.
Overall experience for myself and my husband was wonderful, food was delicious & staff were excellent!
Our waitress was amazing and Brian the waterboy needs a promotion! He is the truth
I have dined at De Frisco’s countless times, but had the worst experience recently. The food was horrible. The filet: mealy. The lobster Macaroni and cheese: flavorless, contained one piece of lobster, and was cold. The asparagus: hardly aldente and practically raw.
Del Frisco’s never disappoints. Our server, Ben, was excellent. He took the time to tell us a bit of history on the building - which we found very interesting. The food here is always exceptional, as are the drinks. It is a favorite for all of our special occasions.
Starters could be bigger
I love Del Frisco's. I was there Friday and the food as always very good. A couple of the staff made a special effort to come over and say hello because of past encounters. they even made me a crabmeat cocktail even though it was not on the menu!
my one criticism is that it would be helpful to list the preparation on know how the steak is prepared. Not everyone might like all the seasoning and cracked back pepper.
Amazing food and great service as always. I know it’s an expensive restaurant but it is a bit much to suggest additions to your steak without mentioning price. “Sure I’ll have 2 scallops”- $12 each might have made me reconsider. Asked for a glass of house cab- $25 glass from 1981. Certainly my fault for not asking but mentioning a price would have been nice.
The food was awful. Steak was overly seasoned salty and tough. The fries were even tasteless. Extremely disappointed. My husband had chicken that was dry and extremely salty.
Our waitress took 20 min to come by for the first time for our drink order. She never checked on us. At the end of dinner we were ordering dessert for the our table of 6. We had to get the manager. Once the manager came by the service improved and we had a new server. The desserts were not fresh.
We have been to del frisco’s many times and this has never been our experience in the past.
At the end of dinner when we got our bill from our original server. She had circled the total after tax as if to say we should tip on after tax amount. We always do that anyways but it was very insulting to have it circled especially after such horrible service.
FYI the restaurant wasn’t full. There were enough servers.
Family holiday get together- and it was great from top to bottom! Ambiance is great, food was excellent and Cody did a wonderful job as our waiter!
bone-in ribeye was excellent, the waygu steak was very small , very expensive cut of meat, and my wife did not really enjoy it. there was a lot of fat for a lean cut of meat
i know that adds to the flavor, but expected it to be better. don't get me wrong it wasn't terrible, but just expected more
It’s was nice and relaxing
I think there was so much racism in the air. It felt like we were being clocked and watched.
Amazing as always, our favorite restaurant by far!
I booked the reservation for NYE dinner at 11pm thinking it was going to be something special, but that was far from the truth. We ordered the 45d aged strip medium rare, and a regular NY strip medium au poivre. They messed up the order, and cooked the steaks in opposite ways. So I tell the waiter that the steaks were wrong, and he keep trying to convince me that I was wrong. Switched the plates on me and my boyf 3 times and tried to confuse me saying the 45d was the thinner steak (cooked medium rare) and the regular NY strip was the thicker one with the au poivre on it. I finally show him he is wrong by butting the steaks in half. He then “agrees” that the steaks were Wrong and took them back. He bring two “new steaks” back out. Ha-ha. This two steaks had the same cut in the middle, but they were upside down this time. My au poivre was burned because they simply added the pepper and recooked the same previous steak, and the 45d aged was not only already cut in half upside down on the plate but it was rough and tasteless. Having worked in the industry I can say with confidence that they simply WASHED the steak under water and sent it back out. Well, we sent the 45d aged steak back, manager says he “will take care of it”. HA-HA, again. The bill comes, and surprise! They took off the regular NY strip off of the tab and keep the 45d aged steak on it as it was more expensive. Had to deal with manager again.
In summary, they completely destroyed something that was supposed to be very special for us. Given some personal reasons we were extremely looking forward to have a very very very special dinner for our first NYE together, and this is something we just can’t get it back because time has passed and they could careless for it during the time.
I was blown away by my experience at Del Friscos. From the valet, the decor, the staff, the food and our INCREDIBLE server Gabby it was a night to remember! I would definitely recommend this restaurant! Five star service across the board
Booked Del Frisco for 7 people for NYE and they stuck us in the basement/family section. The waitress was pushing for us to order more to make more tips. This place doesn't feel genuine and the food is mediocre for the price. I do not recommend.
New Year’s Eve
New Year's Eve was bound to be busy and noisy. We had a great time with excellent service.
Our server did not prioritize us. She brought drinks out for our table and instead of serving them she placed them behind us, told us to hold on and went to fulfill another table’s request. 40 minutes after placing our dinner order she lets us know at the last minute the dinner option was not available. Our appetizer came out wrong twice and because one thing was missing rather than taking it back she asked us to shift the vegetable/sides from one plate to another. Aside from the mistakes from the server, her attitude towards us did not make the matter any better. After speaking with the manager he helped in ensuring our original dinner order and compensated with a slightly improved attitude from our server. The overall experience was shattered due to first impressions. Also would not split check for party of 4 when it clearly states on the site they do not split checks for parties over 7.
We went for New Year’s Eve. The food was excellent but service was just ok. The waiter took a very long time to take our order. However, once he did take the order, the food came out quickly. We ordered the Chilean sea bass and dry aged steak. Both were delicious and we enjoyed the sides we ordered as well—mashed potatoes and lobster Mac n cheese. The portions are well-sized also. The drinks were good. There really was no ambiance. It was noisy throughout. Not exactly the nye setting we were expecting, but food was A+.
Filet had a delicious char. Sommelier recommended a terrific wine. Mashed potatoes not my favorite, but I like them creamier and not so chunky. Great vibe for New Year’s Eve.
Hostess broke glass on table when we sat down, glass all over so pur experience started off not good. Salmon was cold and had to be sent back, when i got it back it tasted bad so I could not eat it, dessert was good would have been better if waiter didn't take it before we were done, there was half lleft. We spent 600 at dinner and it was not a good experience
Celebrated early New Year's Eve dinner and it was just beautiful. Service and food was tremendous and it was a fun experience. Never felt rushed, great fresh food and creative menu.
Wonderful 1st time experience -looking forward to our return there soon!
Beautiful venue, really attentive staff. Food was delish, enjoyed our experience!
Amazing food, excellent service and fantastic cocktails.
I was disappointed in Double Eagle. It was noisy, and for what I paid gor dinner it was underwhelming. I ordered my filet done medium, but it was more medium-rare. My daughter and her friend shared a rib eye steak and it was fatty. The mashed potatoes were just okay. I thought our dinner would be great for New Year's Eve, but it was just okay. Our server Shannon was great!
One of the best meals I've ever eaten
New Year’s Eve. Food and ambiance was great, waiter was awkward.
After calling this place one of my top 5 for a few years before now, I was thoroughly disappointed this time, my Chilean Sea Bass was overcooked, which made it unbearable to eat and my dates steak lacked seasoning, it wasn’t a pleasant experience this time around.
Seriously wonderful service! Water glasses never empty, drinks and food came very quickly. The food was fantastic! Overall a truly awesome experience!
A wonderful meal to celebrate our son’s college graduation. My dry aged strip was excellent. It was the third time recently that I had a dry aged steak (the others were at other steakhouses)and it was the first one where I could taste much difference and it was fantastic. Tuna tartare app was excellent and my wife and son had the lobster app which was great. Sides were generous and very good. The waiter was good but less than enthusiastic. He was very accommodating for my wife who does not eat dairy and that is appreciated. Overall an excellent choice and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.
We expected better service from our sever for the price you pay. We did not get hot towels, the table in front of ours did. This was a bit disappointing, we expected better service for the price you pay.
It was my birthday and the entire evening was wonderful!
Reservation was for 7pm and we were sat at our table by 8:30. Obviously they are not doing a good job of managing reservations. Biggest complaint was how there was no apology or explaining the situation from the hostess.
Del Frisco’s is incredible restaurant, steaks are amazing. We come about 4 times a year, never disappointed! AAA++++
Awesome time with family. Our waiting staff was great and attentive. The food was what we expected from a top notch steak house. My wife and I went with the shared tomahawk steak and brought most of it home!! That’s because the sides and appetizers were so filling.
