The ribeye with the bone, was absolutely delicious and the crab rice was to die for... I would give them 5 + stars, kudos to chef...
Great service! Friendly staff, food was A M A Z I N G!
Overall the night was fantastic! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the history of the building and even gave us a little tour. Besides that he was very attentive and checked on us multiple times but not overbearing. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. Because it was a special occasion we got a complimentary cheesecake and it was delicious.
I thought the experience overall was excellent. I was dressed a bit too casual, but they were kind enough to accommodate me, although the need to rethink business casual in today’s environment. The food was excellent and service was exceptional, the floor managers are very attentive and really assist the servers with direction if we were low on drinks or needed something cleared away. I would recommend Del Friscos in Philly to anyone looking for a great meal and dining experience!
I was very excited to go back to Del Frisco's to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday; I held our company Xmas party there in 2019 and the food and service was fabulous. I called ahead for this reservation, and asked for a seafood tower and bottle of champagne to be set up at our table when we arrived, as a surprise for my husband. When we arrived there were about 3 parties ahead of us, and they were seated in order of arrival. Then about 5 more parties arrived, and were all seated before us. Finally the host, who could see my annoyance, proceeded to tell me, IN FRONT of my husband, that since I asked for something special it was taking longer, as we arrived right as the restaurant opened and they "needed time". I've worked in restaurants for many years during high school, and college, and worked for a catering company as well in very nice establishments, both as a waitress and a hostess. I know darn well that staff arrives at the restaurant AT LEAST an hour before opening, and if there is a table that requested celebrating something special, there is plenty of time to prepare. The shrimp, lobster and king crab leg on our platter tasted old, definitely NOT prepared that day, so the excuse that "they needed extra time to prepare" is BS. I'm guessing no one checked the reservations, no one checked the special request, and they didn't realize it was there until we arrived. The very least they could have done was acknowledge their error, and maybe offer a free round of cocktails, or something. But no, they ruined the surprise for my husband, and had us wait in the lobby for 20 minutes before taking us to our table, at the beginning of service, while others who came in after us were seated, leaving me both embarrassed and befuddled. I am not one to complain, but I was super disappointed in the lack of preparation. Our waiter was wonderful, and the rest of our dinner was as expected, but overall this was not the "special" experience I had expected.
Everything was absolutely amazing! Great ambiance!!!
excellent as usual!! can never go wrong coming here for dinner
My server was out of this world amazing. One of the best.....
Noting but nonsense since i arrived couldn’t find my reservation Service was horrible waiter didn’t even put my whole order in had to call a manger the food was good
Absolutely amazing. Came here to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and could not have had asked for more. Our server Damon made our experience unforgettable!
My husband and I love Del Frisco ‘s! We go there for anniversary dinner every year. And this year we feel that almost everything was delicious and we will still be returning in the future but we feel that the food was not up to its usual par. Our fillet was a little tougher than were used to. And the bee bread is terrible. We were curious if they change their food supplier since Covid.
Amazing steak, best steak I ever had and me and my wife eat out a lot. 10/10 would recommend this place.
I knew going into it, that dining at Del Frisco's was going to be a momentous occasion. Nothing, however, could have fully prepared my five faculties for the exquisite evening that my loved one and I were to share - all thanks to the hosting, serving, and cooking staff at the Philadelphia location. I highly recommend Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse to anyone looking to create hallmark dining memories and will undoubtedly return to try everything that I haven't yet!
Food was very good. Somewhat expensive drinks were very expensive. Very nice atmosphere. Waiters try to upsell food appetizers etc I’ve been here before and I will be here again, definitely recommend!
Food is always the best here the calamari, lobster Mac and cheese, creamed spinach are the absolute best. I love it here
It wasn’t what I expected
Usually no complaints. This time around was not up to the usual standard I’m used to when dining here.
Anniversary dinner. Delightful with complimentary dessert to celebrate!
Great meal. Beautiful restaurant with perfectly cooked food.
Del Frisco’s is one of my favorite restaurants so figured while I was in Philly for the weekend and my date had never been to Del Frisco’s why not check it out. The ambiance at this location is top tier. August was our waiter and he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was above average.
Top notch for any occasion.
While visiting Philadelphia, I went to Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse for dinner on a Wednesday evening. I am pleased to say my expectations were met. The food, service, and ambiance were spot on.
We were greeted at the door and escorted to our table on the second floor. We inquired about moving to a booth to be seated further away from other tables, and our request was fulfilled. We ordered the jumbo lump crab cake, a classic Cesar, the au gratin potatoes and the 24 oz porterhouse (prepared medium). The crab cake was flavorful and the Cesar was fresh and not overly salted. Opting against traditional mashed potatoes, we ordered the au gratin potatoes and were certainly not disappointed. They were unquestionably the best thing we had all evening and were an excellent complement to the steak. We also order the butter cake for desert, which was moist and paired well with the butter pecan ice cream and the whipped cream. The cake was surprisingly crunchy on the outside, which initially threw us for a loop, but was a welcome change of textural pace from the softness of the rest of the plate. Saving the best for last of course, the porterhouse. Upon bringing the steak to our table, they asked us to cut the steak down the middle to see if it was prepared to our liking. Initially the steak was more medium rare than we would have liked, so they graciously took the steak back and let it cook through for an additional 7 minutes. Once returned, the steak was absolutely divine. I would highly recommend visiting for a special occasion or a random Wednesday thought.
Awful went to barclay prime instead. They have good desert I guess if you want great food go somewhere else
It was my wife’s birthday and everything was great. When your server is great, it’s makes your whole dining experience terrific.
We enjoyed ourselves for the most part, but the only issue was the size of the crab cake! It looked like a sampler size and for the price we thought it would of been bigger or at least two crab cakes per plate! The crab cake was good, but could of been bigger!
This is one of my favorites restaurant I love almost everything on the menu.
It was good but they are too quick to take away plates without asking if we are finished our food or not
They made valentines day perfect this year, will definitely be going back again
The food was cold and salty and the server sucked.
Beautiful Valentine's Day dinner, worth every penny.
It was a wonderful experience. Our waiter was amazing and the meal was amazing as well!
Solid choice on Valentines weekend. My wife’s steak came out a red for medium well, the Oscar was not too good. My steak was delish as was the appetizers. Our server was great.
Excellent food, best Steakhouse I’ve been to in Philly. Was my second time there & I can’t wait to go back again!
Excellent service, great food, and loved sitting in the vault!!
The Valentine’s Day dinner was absolutely delicious and memorable. Our server, Michaela, was attentive and gave great menu suggestions. We will definitely be back again!
Went here last night for my boyfriend’s birthday and the atmosphere was amazing. After each meal there was a small wait for the next course. During that time we were introduced to the Managers and other employees who made us feel comfortable and gave us a fulfilling experience.
I go 3-4 times a year. Food is usually exceptional. Went Friday night before valentines to beat the rush of valentines weekend. Ordered Lobster Bisque. Was salty and tasted very bad. Dinner ordered Filet and a 16oz Lobster tail to share with my wife. The lobster was so dried out that I did not eat it. Told server who sent over 2 managers. All they said was we will let the cook know. And they would comp us our dessert. Mine you Lo stet 130.00. Dessert 23.00.
Fist time I had a bad meal but very disappointed with the way they handled a problem. Yes I spent $550 for dinner which is normal. So not about the money it’s about the service.
My wife and I always have a wonderful time at Del Frisco's everything is always perfection from the parking attendant to the front desk and the wait staff , they all go out of their way to make your night out perfect.
My wife & I went to Del Frisco’s for an early Valentines celebration, on an always busy Friday night. We were greeted right away and seated within a few minutes. Due to pandemic regulations, the seating arrangement is a little different than usual but handled well by the staff. Our waiter was prompt, friendly & very helpful. Needless to say we have an awesome meal of the scallops (wife) and dry aged ribeye....fantastic!!! Always enjoy the Double Eagle and look forward to visiting again under better circumstances.
I would definitely recommend food was outstanding expectations meant. Ambiance was nice. Very professional and clean. social distancing guidelines.
Strong drinks nicely made. Hope to return for a 2nd round. Plenty food for the buck.
