It was our anniversary and the service was exceptional! The food was delicious too! Thank you Christia for the awesome night! Money well spent!

I had an 8 pm reservation, but only got my table at 9 pm. Very disrespectful.

Das war wirklich mit Abstand der schlimmste Laden, in dem ich in NY je war. Ich hatte den Tisch ca. 8 Wochen im Voraus reserviert... ich wollte mit meinem Mann und meinen Eltern meinen Geburtstag feiern. aus diesem Grund hatte ich um einen schönen Platz gebeten... wir wurden nicht nur äußerst unfreundlich empfangen- der Platz, der uns angeboten wurde war die absolute Frechheit. Genau so wie die Person, die uns gleichgültig zum Platz führte, die Karten auf den Tisch knallte und mit den Worten „enjoy“ entschwand. Wir waren grade dabei, die Jacken auszuziehen, als ich meinenGästen kurz meine Meinung über die Situation mitteilte und wir innerhalb von Sekunden beschlossen, wieder zu gehen.
Ein solcher Umgang mit Gästen in Kombination mit den beachtlichen Preisen ist schlimme Geldgierige Abzocke.
Wir haben meinen Geburtstag spontan in meine liebste Brauerei mit Burger und Bier verlegt - und es war großartig.

Amazing food and service every time! Crab cake is great, but the ribeye steak with truffle butter if amazing! They spoiled us with a trio of desserts and the caramel butter cake was delicious! Must go!

While some of this disaster is on me because of choosing to go out on a Saturday, the rest of the blame falls squarely on the food and service. Thef food arrived randomly with the last starter arriving about 3 minutes before the first main. Our waiter seemed to be putting in an effort but completely disappeared; I had to track him down three times to order additional sides and drinks.
I lived in downtown Chicago where there were 16 top shelf steak houses within a 10 minute walk. The 45 day dry aged strip steak I ordered last night was the worst steak I have had since a Labor Day cook out in about 1963. The strip was replaced by a decent rib eye but the fact that the original steak showed up in front of me was the problem.

Highly recommended for special occasions. Food atmosphere and service were all world class. I went there for a birthday dinner and left there beyond satisfied and eager to return all thanks to our waiter Brad. Ask for Brad when you enter, he is the definition of what a waiter at a high end restaurant should be and Provided us with arguably the best service we’ve ever had at a premier restaurant. He helped made our special birthday weekend remarkable and thanks to his service, attitude and attention to detail (basically rattled off everything on the menu including some recommendations) he made us leave Delfiiscos feeling nothing but joy and anticipation wanting to come back. Thanks for helping us create a great memory Brad!!! We will be back again!

Service was very slow had to attend a show counld not enjoy my meal

This is our Favorite Steak House in New York. Food service and atmosphere are all fantastic. Try the Crab Cakes and Filet they are a must.

First time eating here. We had a reservation for 8:15 pm. We were seated at 9:00 pm. When we mentioned that to our server he apologized & immediately a manager came & talked yo us and again apologized to us. We received two free appetizers & a free dessert, which were were not really after. I thought that they were genuine about feeling bad that it took so long to seat us. We will return.

We had reservations at 5:15 on a Friday for a party of 6 and let our server know right away that we had to get to a 7:00 show. Unfortunately, we were only able to have our drinks and appetizers. We asked numerous times for drink refills and the status of our meals. By 6:45, our entrees were still not served. I would have given a much lower rating, but, once aware of the situation, the manager did the right thing. She was extremely apologetic and simply said our table “fell through the cracks”. She didn’t make up any excuse. The restaurant offered for us to come back after the show for our entrees. Our schedule did not allow us to do that. She then closed out our bill and assured us that a situation like this would never happen again. There are so many fantastic restaurants in NYC that I don’t think I’ll give Del Frisco’s a second chance. The appetizers were yummy though.

Outstanding attentive service, consistently excellent appetizers/entrees/sides. Our favorite place in NYC for steak and our friends' seafood entrees were equally exceptional. Always impressive dining experience.

this was our second time there in the last 4 weeks...our first was a Saturday
evening 5 pm reservation before radio city event....this was this past Thursday at 7pm...the noise level was ridiculous and the gentlemen (phrase used loosely) at the bar on the way into the dining room were blocking all access and were spread out like they were home....excuse me
must not have been taught to them...the prime reserve steak was full of grissel and the foie gras was raw

Grilled octopus was inconsistently cooked. Some sections were grilled, other sections were not. Some sections were warm, other sections were not; cappuccino was warm, not hot; asked for an ice cold cocktail, received a cold cocktail; specials should be prepared on a table card as they are too numerous and recited too quickly to allow consideration. Decided to dine at Del Friscos' based on my previous multiple visits to the fort Worth, Texas location which is flawless. Will not visit or recommend this location. Thank you.

The steak and au gratin potato are both extremely salty and was not edible at all. My waiter was very nice though and did not want to make a big fuss about it. And it is not my nature do so anyway. Maybe I could have settled for ShakeShack, unfortunately. I was very, very disappointed given that it was highly recommended by a colleague.

The steak was great, well cooked. Overall the food was tasty but the atmosphere was lacking on a Sunday night. It was so expensive too. Left feeling overly full and out of pocket.

Great meal. Worth the splurge for a special occassion.

Awesome dining experience. Food was good but little salty in my opinion(I ordered dry-aged steak and I just felt that there was too much salt on my steak. My friend thought the same) but service was very good. I recommend this place.

Had the bone in prime ribeye...asked for it medium rare..came out though and was a little cold.. probably sitting under a lamp a little to long,,Also the meat also had a lot of fat on it....wasnt the worst piece of meat, but for $75, it should have been a better cut...Was very dissatisfied with the steak though..dont know if I would go back

We had a great time dining here. The food was out of this world. Steaks were amazing and the lobster Mac and cheese was our favorite. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone.

We have been going to Del Friscos since they opened in NYC 18 years ago. It is our go-to place for any special trip we make into the city. They are always accommodating, friendly and excited to help.

The food was excellent, but I was somewhat disappointed with the touristy feel of the restaurant. I had expected a more upscale experience and I am always happy to pay premium prices for such an experience. However, it seemed that there was no dress code and that it was more of a tourist eatery than a fine dining restaurant.

I had my birthday here and I really enjoyed it from the service to the complimentary birthday cake &’ ice cream . I recommend .

One of the best meal experiences ive ever had. Maybe best steak ever. Great sides apps and dessert too.

Everything was amazing, we had a pre-dinner drink at the bar and the bar was lively with regulars and tourist. We had the crab cake for an appetizer and it was great, just all lump, no filler . I had the filet which was cooked perfectly and the extra crab truffle butter topper was unbelievable, I am so glad I added it. My husband was in heaven with his bone in ribeye cooked rare. He could not stop raving about it. The dinning room was cozy with a nice view, we had a nice waitress and the staff was very attentive. We found a resonalably priced cab to go with dinner which was nice, the place is pricey but YOLO , it was worth it! We were in the city for the weekend and I am glad we chose this restaurant.

This was nothing special - food and service were ok but not memorable / I felt like I was in a dated airport lounge — overlooking FOXnews building — someone should Make Steak Houses Great Again - this obviously isn’t —- this place is all about volume and moving people in/out. Special it’s not.
