Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - New York City
Book your next event with us
Servers were amazing. Chad, the manager attentive and provided stellar customer service. Never disappoints.
It was great! The food was great and the server was even better!
Do yourself a favor. Go to any other steakhouse in the city. Unless you’re a tourist. In that case - go to del Frisco’s. Wow. That was the most bland meal I’ve ever had.
After hearing all the hype of Del Frisco amazing food and upscale dining experience, I booked a special dinner for my boyfriend's birthday. Our table was so close to another table that was being set up for a table of 10. The waiters and staff kept bumping into my boyfriend's seat, he eventually had to move his chair to other end of the table.
The gentleman who sat us was very friendly and gave us the run down of the drinks and wine list. We opt to try a specialty cocktail. For 18$ a drink we expected a really great drink. My boyfriend’s drink was very very sweet and not how it was described in the menu. Luckily he was able to switch it for something that he enjoyed better.
The waiter came to the table and greeted us. Friendly and polite but was incredibly fast and hasty with his service. We felt very rushed the entire experience. He sped through the specials we had to ask him to repeat them 2x. When my boyfriend had asked to swap the drink, his was response was like "okay, great! But how about some food???? Are we gonna put something in?" It was really off putting. We just opened the menu and heard the specials? He became aware of our body language and gave us time to look over the menu and returned with a new drink.
We ordered Oysters on the Half Shell for appetizer. This was very good. Fresh and tasty!
For entree - I ordered the Trio Special. Excellent in all aspects of taste and presentation. However, the cooking temp is slightly off here - I ordered Medium Well and it came Medium.
My boyfriend ordered the Prime Ribeye - Medium & it came Red center -RARE. He let the waiter know and he told him to slice the steak and place it flat down on the plate to continue cooking. Um? What? He eventually was understanding of our concerns and brought it back to cook a little longer.
The ambience was loud and touristy, Sports bar. Not an upscale steakhouse at all. Think of a very expensive TGIFridays/Long Horn. Franchisey and not worth the price for the experience.
Great environment; knowledgeable service; timing food;
Food took way too long to come out for a business lunch. Seated on second floor; music was too loud which made it difficult to converse in a normal/relax volume. Had to strain to hear my client.
We had a wonderful dining experience! Our server, Jen H., greet me by name and thanked me for choosing DelFrisco’s.
top notch place. Classic new york steak house with the best meats in town
One would think that a Steak place, “the Steak Place” would know how to cook their meats at the right temp.... THEY DON’T!!!
For a place that has the balls to charge $75 por a piece of meat, it is absurd that they over cook it.
Then if you happen to be a mere mortal that falls for their “lunch special” you will be punked with a “medallion” of filet which is a tiny piece of shoe sole (it certainly looks and tastes like it) pictures attached.
I’d say this is ARROGANT spot where people go because people go.
Del Frisco’s is the best! Food drink ambiance service. Sara O was a great server. We requested table up
Top and they gave us a booth facing Radio City sign. Crab cake outstanding Porterhouse fantastic, buttercake & strawberry cheesecake delish!
Super great food and service. Eric was a fantastic server. 10th year anniversary and they took care of us well.
Food was phenomenal as always. Service was a bit off this time but was still good. We always live this del Frisco’s!
Excellent !!! I highly recommend Del Frisco. I can't wait to go back.
They were sold out of many items
Our first time there. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive!! Definitely will go back!!
It was our 6th time eating here(we are from Boston and come to NYC twice a year). Every other time was great, was one of our favorite steak houses. This time, only after we sat down they told us they were out of 12 ounce Filet, Prime boneless strip and ribeyes???. Then to add to it, the waiter said they were out of bread??? He claimed they were very busy on Saturday nigth? Every other time I been there they are busy so what happened Saturday nigth! I think next time we will try Ruth Cris or Capitol Grill.
The restaurant was cold my wife had to wear her coat at dinner. The quality of the food is declining.
Kelly was the best and happy that you have her at your establishment!!!...great experience!!!
I realized I am a repeat customer three times over while in the City!!!
Overpriced wine bottle $49.00 in store
157.00 in restaurant
Always a great time there!
Amazing food, and amazing service. Justin was our server, he was so sweet and attentive with such good knowledge of the menu! Definitely would go back
Food and service really could not ask for better service and quality.
Short review. My bone in strip steak was awful. Not marbling at al. Came initially cold and blue. There are better places for steak! I will not return.
Very nice place to enjoy fine dinning. Make sure to make a reservation in advance.
Came for the ALWAYS consistent great food and atmosphere. Had the most wonderful waiter, Curtis! And thank you for making up for the forgotten crab cakes at our last visit. What a wonderful surprise.
Excellent!! LOVE this restaurant!
I have been to Del Frisco’s several times. This time it was not a great experience. A very long wait for the table, although we were perfectly on time. Crab Cake was good as usual, but steak came twice in the wrong state. I wanted it medium and first time it was “raw” second time it was medium-rare. Side dishes were fine. Second beer I ordered was completely forgotten. When I asked the waiter if he is still working on my beer, he realized. For a restaurant that has no beer on tab, it should be no problem. I ordered a double espresso instead and go the beer and the espresso. Cannot drink both at the same time...
However, ghe bear was taken off my bill.
Originally wanted to go to Keen’s, but there was no table available, so we decided to go to Del Frisco’s. Bad idea. Next time I will make sure to reserve a table at Keen’s or nothing.
Service and atmosphere are excellent. Food is very good but not excellent.
When first seated, we were put exactly where we requested not to sit. Once seated in the tight "quiet room", they put a "Happy Anniversary" card on our table, I assume so the staff can see as well. When our waiter Randy finally came over, he did not acknowledge our special night and only took our drink order (after hearing him say Happy Anniversary to another table). Drinks took almost 10 minutes to receive, and Cosmo poured 3/4 of the way for $21.50 seems like highway robbery. Burrata mozzarella was tiny for the price and the tomatoes were terribly mushy. I ordered the Filet Medallions medium well, and they came to our table purple. I ate sides while my husband ate his main course so it wouldn't get cold. Our water glasses were empty. For our 10th Anniversary especially, I wanted to eat together. When dinner came out, it was tasty but definitely salty, and so was the creamed spinach. However, my husband's 12oz filet mignon was absolutely delicious. The manager was very accommodating and apologetic. They also sent us dessert which was nice. On the way out, the waiter Randy did not acknowledge us. While our night was absolutely disappointing all around, it gave my husband and I some good laughs.
Outstanding service and food!! A beautiful atmosphere, with friendly staff, that went above and beyond to make sure we had and wonderful experience. We went for our wedding anniversary and they were so kind to give us a card and dessert in celebration of the special event. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!!
The food was amazing ,great drinks and wonderful place to go in a group.
Lunch at Del Frisco was excellent. The business persons special was an excellent value and extremely well prepared and presented. Wine list is extensive though on high side price wise. Service was friendly and prompt
One of our favorite restaurants in New York. We celebrate our anniversary after an evening at Radio City.
We were greeted as returnees with a very warm welcome. Our server (Dan) was very professional and helpful. He made for a delightful dining experience. As always the food was delicious and the VIP drinks are one reason for our returning.
This was our second visit to Del Frisco's and it was just as good as our first dining experience. Although we booked for 7:30 we weren't shown to our table until nearly 8 pm but at least it was in a quieter corner of the restaurant so we could at least have a conversation without having to shout! We chose New York strip and Ribeye steaks - both of which were very tasty and cooked to our requirements. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We'll be returning next timer we're in NYC.
Excelente servicio y atención .. pedimos una ensalada con aderezo al cilantro y un Rib Eye termino medio que estaba espectacular .. celebramos mi cumpleaños y me entregaron una tarjeta y pastel con vela
Very nice atmosphere and setvice overall. Everything, including the food were great. Will go again.
One of the best ever. Sea bass with crab fried rice. Amazing.
They rushed out the courses and then pushed us out so they could turn the table. Seriously? At almost $200 a person for our meal, have a little respect for your customer. Your restaurant isn’t that special. The manager even flat out tried to bribe us to get up by getting us a drink at the bar if we left. No thanks.
Food was very good. Service was ok, steak was ordered medium plus and came out rare, purple inside. Had to wait another 15 mins to get my steak. Server should learn to keep her political views less thinly veiled.
Excellent as usual and nice touch for anniversary
