Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - New York City
Need to book at 8:45 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
I’ve had better tasting food. The lump crab cake was really good though. This was my first time and the overall experience was good.
The food here was amazing. Top 5 best steak restaurant in nyc. If you love steak
come here. I was so shocked of how good it was
Fantastic! Highly recommend.
This was an exceptional dining experience. Steak was perfectly cooked, still hot, and our waiter was well-informed on the menu. We were blown away by the dessert as well. This is a place my friends and I agreed we must go back to.
Delicious filet mignon and bernaise sauce, butter cake, and Uptown potatoes! The brussel sprouts were a little tart but everything else was very good!
Great place for special occasion. We split an appetizer and still didn't finish it.
We come to Del Frisco’s numerous times through out the year. We came the other day for our 16th anniversary. Our waiter was not the best we have had. He never mentioned specials or went over the menu. We had been their before and new what we wanted, I’ve just never had the wait staff not boast about the menu before. He also never mentioned our anniversary which I put on the reservation. On our last anniversary the waited brought out a desert, now I wasn’t expecting that but maybe an acknowledgement. Just not the service a $360 meal before tip should have received.
The worst steakhouse in NYC.
From not wanting the stroller in empty restaurant to the fries and onion rings being completely soggy (old oil or not hot enough)
Steak subpar based on any NYC steakhouse.
Lunch was $355 which I have no problem spending when food is good this on the other hand was HORRIBLE
The only thing they have going is the service our waiter was GREAT
My FAVORITE restaurant!
Food was Amazing as usual , this time I just didn’t like the waitress. We waited 40 minutes for Lobster Mac & Cheese and she charged us for it . Meanwhile a friend of mine was there the same day and her waiter gave it to them for free for the long wait. Plus the waitress we had rushed us with everything.. Overall this place is great
We made a reservation over a month ago for Valentines Day- we had a 9 pm reservation. After waiting in the lobby which was as chaotic as the subway we were taken to the basement and seated at a table that was not remotely level. We were seated in a room that had about 10 tables for two however only us and one other couple were seated there. It was a service bar adjacent to a function room which seemed like a wine cellar. It was also near the employee change room so during dinner we watched staff go in and leave in street clothes. We waited a bit for a server and when she came over we discussed leaving. Like fools we stayed. We were not offered bread, a wine list or a choice of sparkling water. We ordered drinks and waited awhile-then we had to request a glass for my husbands beer-amazing they dropped a non alcohol beer on the table in a bottle. It took one hour and 20 minutes for our entrees to arrive. We sat as our waitress mixed drinks at this bar, other staff ware glasses and staff gathers and grabbed in groups. Another couple was placed in the room as there table in the function room was so unleveled they could not put drinks down. We have eaten here many times and has many memorable family gatherings here. While the food was good we felt as if we were an imposition. We skipped dessert Ana’s we were so disappointed. We tipped a generous 30 percent however we usually tip much higher as we both worked as servers and approached the hard work. When we tried to leave we needed to wait 10. Minutes to get our coats as the coat room person was no where to be found. A security person helped us get our coats. This was a disaster and we are saddened by our treatment.
Broken escalator ruined a very expensive pair of shoes. Service was slow and hyper focused on upselling specials and extras. Server lost credit card, asked for info in case it was found, but no one called even though it was (I called to find out the next day). All in all, far better places to go.
we had to wait for almost half an hour even though we had resevations. The food was just ok,definately not the best steak. It was very chewy and hard to enjoy.
We love your restaurant! Every time a GREAT experience and wonderful service.
Valentine’s Day with the wife and two children. Great food, service, and ambiance as always. Truly one of our favorite restaurants.
Our server Jenny was amazing, the food amazing and the surrounds amazing even though it was Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was packed. One of our favorite places to eat in NYC
We had a 530 reservation, arrived on time and seated by 545 however, by 730 we still had not received our dinner. We had tickets to an 800 show (which we told our server) but our dinner never showed up. We had to leave at 745 after waiting 2 hours having not eaten dinner. Very disappointing.
We went for a nice Valentine's Day dinner prior to seeing a show. Being a party of two, we were seated in
a small nook on the second floor with other tables of two. The noise level was moderate and it was not a problem carrying on a conversation. We enjoyed what was probably the best lobster tail and filet mignon we've ever had (and certainly the most expensive!!) But if price is no object, I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was excellent, too.
Good food. Server was friendly and professional. Check in and seating process took quite a while even with reservation and eating dinner in early aide before it was very busy. Kind of felt like check in at a Cheesecake Factory.
Everything was fabulous. I Love it here.
Very nice but needs better table options for 2 people. Great place for lunch. Great food.
Beat place to go for the best steak in NYC. I plan on going here every year the staff is first class.
Awesome experience! Anytime again!
Server was attentive and helpful. Great experience overall.
Was very let down by the overall quality of the food - especially the steak. Ordered a rib-eye steak black & blue (less than rare). It came out medium-well and was at best, half an inch thick. When you're paying $70 for a steak you expect it to be at least 1.5 inches thick and cooked properly. At the very least the steak should have been comp'd, but all the restaurant gave us was a piece of cake. We left the meal very disappointed and with so many other options in the area, I don't think i will ever go back to Del Frisco's. We spent $500 and all of us left feeling like we just got robbed. Not a great experience for a friends 40th birthday.
Nice but has been better before
Why can’t they get it right from the first minute you walk on to door? The last thing that I want to do when I come into a nice place like Del friscos is to stand around while the host assigns me my table.
Had a great time. From the wedge salad to the steak to the lemon cake finale and the fabulous server everthinf was top notch. Never disappoints
Everything was absolutely excellent. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and all appetizers and sides were delicious.
Dinner for 4, celebrating our son’s new job! Delicious dinner including steak and lobster. Our server Robert had a great sense of humor and didn’t rush us in any way. Lovely evening!
Awesome dinner. We loved our salads to start and the side dishes are delicious. Of course the steak was great too.
Food was perfect. Our server Sean K was on his game great job Sean! Thanks for the special occasion desert.
Overall great experience. Food is great. service especially our server - Miller was awesome.
Food and service was amazing! Petite filet was perfectly prepared and melted in my mouth along with the potatoes.
Great spot for a business lunch! Friendly and efficient staff. Pleased overall.
Amazing food as always with great service! Very loud so not the place for a romantic dinner. With that aside, the ambiance is also wonderful.
Great food and drinks. Service was amazing very attentive
The food was spectacular ... our waiter was Brandon and he was simply the best!
