Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - New York City
The food was just average and overpriced. The atmosphere was like you were on a big cruise ship
Was an excellent meal at Del Frisco's. I've been to the Vegas one several times. The steaks were excellent as always. Just really didn't like the mushroom side dish this time. They felt a little mushy and like they added sugar.
Overall this is a high end steakhouse on par with all the others in the category. Nothing really distinguishing it above the others and the cost is prohibitive to the average client.
Had a wonderful dining experience with Brian! Food & service were perfect!
Amazing service (Brandon -Waiter). Food was delicious and everything was served hot.
Drinks were filled to the rim (even alcohol). Great time, wonderful memories made with family.
Perfection... food and service 10+ the steak is done on the money and the service is unlike no other. Try the lobster Mac and cheese you will
be hooked and for the dessert the butter cake... I wouldn’t normally order this cake, but this one is worth ordering.
Worth every penny. Food was amazing. Side dishes are huge and can be shared between 2 or 3 people.
So we’ve eaten here a few times and it was always at dinner and always excellent. The service is excellent. This time we went for lunch. There was really no one there. The drinks were awesome. The appetizers and sides were great. The steaks were a complete disappointment. We ordered 6 steaks and one steak sandwich. 5 steaks were ordered medium rare, and 1 medium. 3 steaks were very rare, and 2 steaks were well done. I know we could’ve sent the steaks that were rare back, but the well done, there was no helping them. But with how empty the place was, I felt our steaks should’ve been cooked properly, and then what about all the sides? So it was upsetting. But I do enjoy it there, sometimes these things happen, and I highly recommend. It just might’ve been an off day.
My husband, 24 year old son and I had lunch at Del Frisco's recently before theatre. Wow, wow, wow!! Everything was absolutely delicious! We had the following and cannot say one negative thing about any of it! Lobster bisque, Pacific Coast Cobb with Lobster, Prime Steak Salad and the Seared Salmon on the business lunch menu. The presentations were beautiful. Our server was very attentive and friendly. But, what I am still dreaming about and will until I get there again is the Butter Cake. Top 5 desserts for me of all time! Looking forward to having dinner next time.
Good service and good food.
The food was delicious. Our server made some great suggestions for appetizers and dessert. Our starter was a crab cake it was delicious. Also, the butter cake was amazing. We ate in the wine cellar and it was beautiful.
Chris was amazing
Our server, Paul, was excellent. He was like a guide on a food expedition. Made my wife and I feel great celebrating her birthday. Food was phenomenal. Worth every penney. This one is a winner!!
Fantastic service, great wine selection and wonderful food!
From the welcome, the table service, the delicious food, the Del Frisco's entire staff provides a top notch dining experience. Excellent.
Great food and service
Great food and service
A wonderful and enjoyable night
Consistency is a remarkable feature to achieve in any endeavor. Yet, Del Frisco's continues to be consistently superb in everything they do, every time I frequent that establishment. The food is always good; the service cordial and professional; the ambiance perfect. That's why I return...consistently.
It was great !
great as always.
Great time. Curtis was a phenomenal server. Booth 60 is the best
Great food and great service
I’ve had better tasting food. The lump crab cake was really good though. This was my first time and the overall experience was good.
The food here was amazing. Top 5 best steak restaurant in nyc. If you love steak
come here. I was so shocked of how good it was
Consistent high level service, steaks and sides always outstanding.
Our server Brian Duryea was and is the best ever!!
Food and service was great. Recommend to everyone
Steak was undercooked. Did not send back since I did not mind eating it RARE. Would have preferred MEDIUM RARE
We got to restaurant the greeting was great they ask us if we wanted to sit in the action or quiet table that’s a A+ for me, dinner was awesome very good and service was excellent can wait to go back 😊
Fantastic! Highly recommend.
This was an exceptional dining experience. Steak was perfectly cooked, still hot, and our waiter was well-informed on the menu. We were blown away by the dessert as well. This is a place my friends and I agreed we must go back to.
The food was great, the service impeccable, and the ambiance finished off a great evening with Friends.
Delicious filet mignon and bernaise sauce, butter cake, and Uptown potatoes! The brussel sprouts were a little tart but everything else was very good!
Great place for special occasion. We split an appetizer and still didn't finish it.
We come to Del Frisco’s numerous times through out the year. We came the other day for our 16th anniversary. Our waiter was not the best we have had. He never mentioned specials or went over the menu. We had been their before and new what we wanted, I’ve just never had the wait staff not boast about the menu before. He also never mentioned our anniversary which I put on the reservation. On our last anniversary the waited brought out a desert, now I wasn’t expecting that but maybe an acknowledgement. Just not the service a $360 meal before tip should have received.
The worst steakhouse in NYC.
From not wanting the stroller in empty restaurant to the fries and onion rings being completely soggy (old oil or not hot enough)
Steak subpar based on any NYC steakhouse.
Lunch was $355 which I have no problem spending when food is good this on the other hand was HORRIBLE
The only thing they have going is the service our waiter was GREAT
My FAVORITE restaurant!
Food was Amazing as usual , this time I just didn’t like the waitress. We waited 40 minutes for Lobster Mac & Cheese and she charged us for it . Meanwhile a friend of mine was there the same day and her waiter gave it to them for free for the long wait. Plus the waitress we had rushed us with everything.. Overall this place is great
We made a reservation over a month ago for Valentines Day- we had a 9 pm reservation. After waiting in the lobby which was as chaotic as the subway we were taken to the basement and seated at a table that was not remotely level. We were seated in a room that had about 10 tables for two however only us and one other couple were seated there. It was a service bar adjacent to a function room which seemed like a wine cellar. It was also near the employee change room so during dinner we watched staff go in and leave in street clothes. We waited a bit for a server and when she came over we discussed leaving. Like fools we stayed. We were not offered bread, a wine list or a choice of sparkling water. We ordered drinks and waited awhile-then we had to request a glass for my husbands beer-amazing they dropped a non alcohol beer on the table in a bottle. It took one hour and 20 minutes for our entrees to arrive. We sat as our waitress mixed drinks at this bar, other staff ware glasses and staff gathers and grabbed in groups. Another couple was placed in the room as there table in the function room was so unleveled they could not put drinks down. We have eaten here many times and has many memorable family gatherings here. While the food was good we felt as if we were an imposition. We skipped dessert Ana’s we were so disappointed. We tipped a generous 30 percent however we usually tip much higher as we both worked as servers and approached the hard work. When we tried to leave we needed to wait 10. Minutes to get our coats as the coat room person was no where to be found. A security person helped us get our coats. This was a disaster and we are saddened by our treatment.
Broken escalator ruined a very expensive pair of shoes. Service was slow and hyper focused on upselling specials and extras. Server lost credit card, asked for info in case it was found, but no one called even though it was (I called to find out the next day). All in all, far better places to go.
