Buttered Brioche Bun
Everything was perfect! We had lovely gin martinis alongside with tuna tartare followed by prime porterhouse and potato gratin. We completed the meal with some amazing espresso martinis, certainly one of the best I ever had.
The Butter Cake. Don’t leave without it
Happy birthday for Ofri , she was 6 year olds
Good experience overall
Food was very good
We are fans of DelFriscos. Always in love with their steaks, but this time I didn’t find the same consistency in the flavor. The service was excellent.
They have a great team, every one is nice and always on top of every thing. Making sure every guest is happy and have all there answer fulfilled. All I can say the food is perfect. Crab cake and lobster Mac and cheese is a must! Steak is based on your preference but all I can say is the steak will never disappoint. Also one thing with del Frisco is they do not prejudice people based on how cooked they want their steaks. They are not snobbish when you say you want a certain cook. But one thing is that tell them how you like your meat inside and out, don’t just say medium. They will cater to your cook preferences inside and out!
I have eaten here a few times and this is our go to restaurant but for some reason during COVID the quality of the food has gone down tremendously. The Mac and cheese used to be the most amazing thing, now it’s just tastes bland. I don’t know if the chef changed but this was a disappointment. However the waitress was great and the ambiance was amazing too
It was a real pleasure to be back inside dining at the Double Eagle again. Steaks remain among the best in NYC (try the 45 day aged ribeye), the wine list is as extensive as any in the City (and full of wonderful bottles), and the service remains knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and impeccable. The "spaced" tables have jeroboams and methuselahs on them so the generally enhance the decor rather than making it look like a police crime scene as in some other environments. Really not a single bad thing to say about the evening...and a bevy of good things.
Amazing ! This is my favorite restaurant
This has always been a favorite place for me as the dining experience is always exceptional. This time is was sadly disappointing and it was to celebrate my birthday. They never gave us the option for indoor dining so we were stuck outside and that evening was chilly. Even through we asked to be seated indoors before we sat down, they denied our request. The food came quickly. We have ordered the seafood tower and it comes with a variety of dipping sauces. Surprisingly, our waiter never described what the dipping sauces were. In the past they have always explained everything on my plate. My all time favorite dish is their seared tuna. Unfortunately that is no longer on their menu. Maybe it's be because of the pandemic...or maybe not. It will quite some time before I think about coming back.
The service was great ! The steak was great.
The problem was every seafood item was not fresh borderline inedible.
Started with my favorite crab cakes fishy tasting.
Lobster bisque fishy tasting and was thin almost like a chowder.
Then came the $90 king crab legs, this was awful wasted like the ocean / sewage.
A high end steak house should just throw away old seafood and start off fresh. Throughly worst dinning experience there to date.
The service was top notch though.
They cancelled are reservation and didn´t call or send an email or anything. We showed up and they told us that they decided to close early that day
Amazing as always. My favorite restaurant!
Amazing steak, crab cake and butter cake (dessert). Took a car service into nyc and was running late. I called ahead and they kept the kitchen open late for us. Would definitely go to again.
Eating outside just not the same. Such a beautiful restaurant. I am looking forward to being able to eat inside soon.
One of my favorite steakhouses in NYC, food was amazing and the service our waiter Jean gave my gf and I were out of this world.
Del Frisco’s is still a killer steakhouse despite the restrictions placed on it by inept politicians. Food, wine and service all top of the line. Started with crab cake, shrimp cocktail and Wagyu meatballs, followed with ribeye steaks that were grilled to perfection. Sides were corn, mashed potatoes and cream spinach. When ordering dessert don’t pass up the lemon cake and the butter cake. As for wine we chose a crisp Sancere. Jaime our server was great!
Very good food although pricey. Beware of cocktails and wines, they do not have prices on the menu. Could be a shock when the bill comes! One of the nicest outdoor seating in the city as the tables are far from the street and the extra wide sidewalk really helps.
Outdoor seating was great! Tables were spaced well apart from eachother for safe social distancing purposes. They made sure every staff member had a mask on and gloves to prevent spread. Overall our experience was great! Food is always good and can’t wait to return.
Thanks for making our anniversary a good experience!
Great service and meal despite it being outdoor dining!
Lovely outside dining experience.
Dinner was amazing and the service is excellent. Great outdoor space.
Outdoor dining, food is always good. they have the popular items on the menu not the usual full menu due to covid.
Good vibes and excellent food
This place & food is amazing 10 stars restaurant
Bathroom was extremely dirty.
There was a hair in the Mac and Cheese and the steak was well-done when we requested medium.
Could be the best steak in New York City. Dry aged ribeye is amazing.
Loved it. Server (Curtis?) was fantastic. We had a blast. Thank you.
I order a bunch of things and eat family style so I can try everything. They work with me. LOL. You will be full but make sure you get a Butter Cake to go...
Tough going being only outside seating but still overall things were great -- only wish they are more accommodating with dinner offerings during lunch time.
It was an experience to remember thanks to Curtis! :)
Our experience was wonderful! The outdoor dining area is very spaced out and feels intimate. We started with the VIP martini and the Vesper Rosa. They are not cheap with the alcohol and the drinks were very good. We had tuna tar tar and the meatballs for an appetizer. Both were tasty but felt like it was missing something. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it!
My boyfriend had the 28 oz. porterhouse and I had the 8 oz filet. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and were full of flavor. We also shared the mashed potatoes, which were yummy!
We finished off with the chocolate mousse cake which was light and delightful! A great experience overall!
I’ve been coming here for the steak & service, especially when I have visitors or friend’s birthday. It never disappoints me. This time I chose here to celebrate my birthday. I really love this outdoor dining setting. They keep other tables far to make us feeling more comfortable this uneasy time. They also made it beautifully. Our server was excellent, however other staffs weren’t paying any attention and few of them are standing & talking together. We tried to get there attended but had a hard time to get water or other things... I know it’s spacious and outside, but I wish they were a little more attentive, especially the waiter was busy to cover big areas. As for food, I ordered broiled oysters which I never tried before, and my usual porterhouse. Oyster was not something I expected. I thought it was broiled but they were raw. I had much better ones elsewhere. I wouldn’t order again. The porterhouse was cooked perfect temperature “medium rare”, however it was not juicy at all like other times. I would still come back here to enjoy this outdoor experience while I can. It’s really nice for a change.
Took my little brother here for his birthday great experience will be back soon
Everything was perfect! The outside dining was beautiful. Waiters wore masks as protection. The food was incredible!
