Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Went to Del Frisco's for our 15 Wedding Anniversary Dinner & it was well worth it. They have 5 Star Steaks , phenomenal wines & Excellent service from very knowledgeable staff ... . We live in NYC and know a good steak house & Del Frisco's is the Mecca in my Opinion ... They treat you like you are friends from the moment you sit down and really make you feel comfortable. They even brought us out a very nice Dessert to recognize our special dinner. Del Frisco's is worth the trip!
Service, food and the attention to detail was incredible. My one negative comment was discovered with our unfinished leftovers which were dumped into aluminum foil then put into nice to go containers. Why take such delicious leftovers, such as lobster mac n cheese, a beautiful rib-eye steak and the potatoes au gratin and put them in foil?
The food, wine, ambiance and staff of the Las Vegas location were all exemplary. If you want to learn how a restaurant should be operated and staffed, visit this place and do exactly as they do. Seafood, steaks and lamb were all incredible and made a lasting impression as did Chris, our waiter. Next time you're in Vegas, check it out.
The restaurant was all together a great place. The meals and appetizers were good, but in my opinion not up to par for the price tag. Service, atmosphere, wine selection, all were excellent. The meal was probably a 5 out of 10 for that price point. I wanted a $ 400.00 meal for two to be a memorable fine dining experience for the young executive I was taking out to dinner.
In a city full of steakhouses, Del Frisco's is a solid choice - top quality steaks without the celebrity chef pretensions many places have. Service was efficient and extremely friendly. Seafood appetizers were excellent. The corn and shishito pepper side dish is highly recommended. I chose a dry aged strip and it was perfect.
We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation. Wait staff was attentive without being bothersome. My wife requested a non-menu item(crab cake with her filet), which was happily provided. I had a bone in ribeye. Both steaks and were cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the crab cake was delicious The steaks were comparable to most upscale steakhouses. Also, had the best asian style calamari we have ever tasted. Side of augratin potatoes was spot on and the hot bread was mouth watering. Highly recommend.
beautiful dinner to celebrate our enagaement. the restaurant added a few rose petals and candle light to give it that extra touch of special and like always my steak was amazing. missing a star only because I loved the slivered almonds with grilled asparagus and they did a cheese tomato sauce garnish instead I wasn't into.
Our waiter, Roland, was fantastic as were the young ladies who assisted him. All 10 members of our party were extremely pleased with everything from the service to the food- outstanding! My family and I go to DelFriscos every time we are in Vegas, and plan on going back in December when we come in for the Penguins game on December 14. Looking forward to it .
The featured 45 day dry aged rib eye made best ever steak status for the two of us who selected it. As the plates were being placed in front of us, the difference in aroma from standard 28 day aged steaks was immediate and mouth watering. Deeper, nuttier, maybe even hint of cheese, flavor but still sweet notes as well. As always, cooked exactly as requested at rare plus. Side dish of Spaghetti Squash with Parmesan Cream and Toasted Pistachios was a perfect match for the steak flavors. For Dessert, I had my favorite, the Lemon Cake, while others had the Butter Cake and the Cheesecake. Recommend Butter Cake be had with both the ice cream and the caramel sauce on the side.
Seems like we always come here when we visit Las Vegas now! Service was great, as always, except that even though we arrived a little early for our reservation, they made us wait (past our reservation time) to seat us. We found a new side dish on the menu (Spaghetti Squash Gratin), and tried it despite never having had spaghetti squash before - we LOVED it! Everyone order this so they keep It on the menu!
As usual, I was extremely pleased with just about every aspect of our dining experience at Del Frisco's. Our waiter Christian was superb, and although very busy, managed to spend some time taking a few minutes to talk to us. He oversaw all the courses being brought to the table and was very attentive to our satisfaction with the meal. The sommelier, Amanda was superb and proved some great guidance on our wine selection, a 2012 Anomaly Cabernet.
The best part was Christian, our waiter brought out a special dessert for our anniversary, compliments of the house! Job well done, its these little perks and surprises and the attention to detail that keep me coming back to this place.
I Cant wait to get back to Las Vegas again just so I can eat at Del Frisco's.
Had a great meal! Entertained my staff (6 in total) and Chris our server and his team were attentive and gracious. Melody , (Manager) came by to say hello and welcome all of us. I know her from when she was the Manager at Sullivan’s in Palm Desert, CA and now she has even greater responsibility at Del Frisco’s in Las Vegas and you can tell why she got the promotion. She is phenomenal!!! You really need to dine here if you are in Las Vegas!!!!!
Any time I’m Las Vegas we visit Del Frisco’s. From Amanda the Wine Director to our servers the service and attention to detail was incredible. The food and presentation is wonderful. Never a disappointment!! I highly recommend for anyone who wants a special and memorable meal.
Best dinner I've ever eaten and I have been to a lot of excellent restaurants. Our first time - went for my wife's birthday - our waiter Brendan was awesome. All his recommendations were spot on. Had an amazing old fashioned, steak, uptown del's potato. Ridiculously delicious. Then they brought an awesome dessert for my wife and a card. Service, food and atmosphere were perfect.
Had a great meal here with 2 of my friends on our Annual Boys Weekend to Vegas. Looking forward to coming back in a few months with my wife and friends. All 3 of us had the Dry-Aged Rib-eye Steak and it was fantastic. I would have to say the Cream Spinach side was the best that I have ever had and it is something that I would not usually order, but definitely will again! Our waitress was fantastic and the drinks went down smooth. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Our server, Alex, either had too many tables or was otherwise distracted as he never came by to check on us after our entrees were delivered. Tea glasses were left empty and it took two requests to get one iced tea delivered. It was a busy night with three large tables in the house, but I’m not sure these were our server’s responsibility. The food was wonderful and the manager did come by to thank us and explain all the delays. The thoughtful gesture was noted and did make a good impression.
