Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
The restaurant was nice with a good ambiance as well as the service being spectacular. The dinner was great until the main course was served which consisted of steaks. One was severely undercooked after sending it back to the kitchen 2-3 times and the other steak was overcooked and dry. It could have been the cook but as far as tenderness, seasoning, and cooked to perfection....Ruth Chris has better steaks.
Went with my wife and two adult daughters for my wife's birthday. Very crowded with convention people, but we had reservations at a peak time and were seated with almost no wait. Food, cocktails, and deserts were outstanding. Wife's salmon was slightly under cooked but good.
This restaurant is always excellent. However, this time I am giving it a lower rating as we were put on the patio for dinner in January. Heaters were poor and cigar smoke from the smokers outside was strong. We eventually were moved inside, but that took quite sometime. Food was outside
The service and food were great. The only issue I had was that we had an 8:30 pm reservation and we didn’t get seated until 9:35! Luckily, our customer was good about the extra wait. Some customers would not be so understanding. Take care of your customers who planned ahead!
Del Frisco's is touted as one of the finer places for getting amazing steaks. To be honest, it was probably one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Not at all worth what they charge. ALL of the seafood they served to us and everyone around us had the worst odor. The steaks were really not that great of quality compared to a few of the other notable steakhouses in Las Vegas that are in the same price range. It is just an old musty place that used to have a good name and now is just a place that serves overpriced food because of their location near the strip. Never did a manager visit our table to ask how our experience was. This could have been an easy opportunity to grab a lifelong customer. They really need to clean up the place and revisit their food quality. Especially for the prices they are charging. For what it costs to eat here, you should easily be able to expect excellence. Del Frisco's really missed the ball and it is showing on other reviews online recently.
Have already sent a review to the restaurant, but will tell you as well......amazing as usual! Food out of this world, customer service outstanding. They always make you feel like you being there is a priority for them. Very attentive to our requests and always remember that we have been there before and are quick to welcome us back. Our server was Roland and he was more than accommodating. They even treated us to a beautiful dessert tray complete with a lit birthday candle and Birthday card to help us celebrate my husbands birthday that night. Can’t say enough, SUPER establishment and always our go to restaurant when we are in Vegas, which is 3 or 4 times a year.
I found this to be not up to Del Frisco expectations. Service was very erratic and after two and one half hours we had to ask for our check, forgoing dessert. The bone in prime ribeye was loaded with an unusual amount of fat and somewhat tough. If I were a first time guest I would not go back and I definitely will not go back to the Vegas location.
My first experience was on New Year’s Eve so I’m not sure if it’s always the same. The prix fix menu was $90 each. It contained a 4 course meal. I upgraded to a 45 day dry age rib eye which was $20 more. The meal was good but too much to handle. My wife and I could of shared the meal. We brought our own bottle of wine. They charged a ridiculous $50 corkage fee. Never paid that much anywhere. Our meal lasted 3 hours. We couldn’t even get to a spot to celebrate midnight. We liked the vibe of the restaurant but not sure if we will return when we are back in Vegas. The steaks were great but you get what you pay for. With our drinks at the bar combined with our meal and tip, we were above $300
My bf and I went for NYE/Anniversary. Everyone was very nice and the food was great, except the shrimp cocktail tasted frozen and defrosted on the plate. We had the pri fixed menu and there were a lot of wonderful choices. The uptown del potatoes were some of the best i've ever had. I also smiled with the small bottled coke :) will be back for another special occasion, our pockets need to fill up first lol
Went for New Years. The preset menu was spectacular. There were 4 in our party and more food than any of us could eat. The bacon and carpaccio appetizers were a big hit, as were the steaks and fish for the entrees. However, I think this night the butter cake with pecan ice cream stole the show. I just wish they offered this menu every night.
The flavor of the food was on point, however our steak was a little dry. Was so disappointed when they brought out our steaks, but took too long to bring out our sides. I must have ate 10 pieces of my steak before the sides came out. I was very irritated by that! With that said, the service was great, and we want to give it another shot.
My wife and i go to the NFR rodeo every year, just as important as the rodeo is ,making our dinner date at this, our favorite steak house on the planet! We always leave with the very best of food and service. As long as we are able, this wonderful place is on our must do, and most looked forward to dining experiance. WE LOVE IT!
Our best to all the staff,
Mark and Rondi Coffey
