Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Every thing we ordered was delicious except our steaks. The wait staff was very accommodating and everyone helped to make us feel like we were the only people dining there that evening.
When I think of steak the first place I think of, always, is Del Friscos but this was not a good choice for steak that evening which was very disappointing. The steaks were tough , dry and over cooked, maybe it was an off night for who ever was cooking the steaks that night but, who ever heard of a 8oz filet being tough and grisley. Well this one was.
Hopefully my next trip to the Denver Del Friscos will be a better experience than this one!!
We love this restaurant so much that we brought our friends for their anniversary. The tinkling piano, the attentive waiters and exquisite food make for a very special night. The bar scene is also wonderful and they have a great happy hour. We love the place.
We felt that the service did not match the caliber of food on the menu and the prices. Our waitress was very nice, but very loud, her attire was not what you would expect in a fine steak house and the manager came by just as our salads arrived, and he insisted on shaking each of our hands, and didn't seem to notice that we were trying to eat, so he kept talking. His timing was poor and his demeanor was off-putting. Food was good, but our potatoes au gratin arrived cold. When taken back to be reheated, they came back just luke warm and the potatoes were under cooked. My mashed potatoes were cold. However, all of the steaks were perfect.
Walked in to the stench of overflowing sewage...and it got worse. Service is slow and the restaurant looks like it has not been updated or cleaned since 2005. The octopus tasted fishy and the potatoes with cheese were awful. The steaks were passable however they were poorly seasoned and not worth the high price. You can do much better for much less somewhere else. We were so glad to leave, we did not waste time telling Management about our experience. Why? We never plan to visit again unless the place is razed. Plus, for the price, they really should be ashamed of their overall value proposition.
We were here from Canada with friends and chose Del Frisco's from online reviews and trip advisor. Well it didn't disappoint. 1 of the best experiences we've all had and we've been to a lot of restaurants. Everything was top shelf and the service was over the top. Would recommend to everyone visiting Las Vegas.
We had a great anniversary dinner at Del Frisco’s. I think every staff member we encountered said “Happy Anniversary” and all were very attentive. Food was great....from the steaks right through salads, desserts, and potatoes. Don’t skip the tomato and burrata salad! Great wine and cocktail choices as well.
Went to Del Frisco's for our 15 Wedding Anniversary Dinner & it was well worth it. They have 5 Star Steaks , phenomenal wines & Excellent service from very knowledgeable staff ... . We live in NYC and know a good steak house & Del Frisco's is the Mecca in my Opinion ... They treat you like you are friends from the moment you sit down and really make you feel comfortable. They even brought us out a very nice Dessert to recognize our special dinner. Del Frisco's is worth the trip!
Service, food and the attention to detail was incredible. My one negative comment was discovered with our unfinished leftovers which were dumped into aluminum foil then put into nice to go containers. Why take such delicious leftovers, such as lobster mac n cheese, a beautiful rib-eye steak and the potatoes au gratin and put them in foil?
The food, wine, ambiance and staff of the Las Vegas location were all exemplary. If you want to learn how a restaurant should be operated and staffed, visit this place and do exactly as they do. Seafood, steaks and lamb were all incredible and made a lasting impression as did Chris, our waiter. Next time you're in Vegas, check it out.
The restaurant was all together a great place. The meals and appetizers were good, but in my opinion not up to par for the price tag. Service, atmosphere, wine selection, all were excellent. The meal was probably a 5 out of 10 for that price point. I wanted a $ 400.00 meal for two to be a memorable fine dining experience for the young executive I was taking out to dinner.
In a city full of steakhouses, Del Frisco's is a solid choice - top quality steaks without the celebrity chef pretensions many places have. Service was efficient and extremely friendly. Seafood appetizers were excellent. The corn and shishito pepper side dish is highly recommended. I chose a dry aged strip and it was perfect.
