Always great food and experience. M
Always the perfect place to go for a wonderful steak and great conversation.
Always a pleasure to dine here They know us and are acomodating...
It was pleasant and our waiter was very knowledgeable.
Food and service are excellent. The noise level is deafening; perhaps the large parties should be seated in a separate area than the 2, 4 and 6 tops. The steak knives look impressive but need sharpening.
Food was pretty slow for a weekday lunch service
I ordered a wedge salad, rib-eye, and asparagus. The salad was ok but had more blue cheese crumbles than I thought necessary. The steak was cooked as requested but way too salty. The asparagus didn’t appear to be prepped very well as the stems were very “woody”. I didn’t feel the quality of the food justified the high prices. If had better steak dinners for half the price!!
The food was good but honestly way too salty. I love salt but both my friends lunch and mine was way too salty. We had the business lunch special with the medallions.
We were happy to see the Sunday special that we didn’t know about! Great deal for great food! As always too much food but great for leftovers! My only complaint is steak was way too salty! We always enjoy Del Frisco’s over Shanahans because you didn’t salt your meat too much! Now you are doing the same!😞 Our waiter was great!
Sarah provided superb service guiding us through the special menu and advising us on choices. We ordered cocktails. The specialty Manhattan was the best I’ve had in any Denver restaurant. Dinner was equally special. The crab cake was delicious with emphasis on the crab and little if any breading. Our steaks were prepared to our order however I did return mine for extra cooking...it is so rare to have steak served so rare that I would return it. It came back prepared to perfection. The salads and sides were generous in portion and complimented the steaks for a complete meal. Sesame bread was served hot and melted the butter...we ate 2 loaves! Complimentary lemon cake delighted our palate and topped off our dining experience and evening with great pleasure.
Waiter was wrong about several menu options, steak was not cooked enough, then a bad cut of meat. Left without our leftovers cause the server threw them out.
I made my reservations for the wrong day and they was still able to accommodate my party. The guy Hudson was so amazing and understanding. We greatly appreciated him and his staff. He was so awesome and he even came and checked on us. Great job on the food and the staff. We can’t wait to come back and visit
The ambiance was a disappointment. This was a special occasion for my girlfriend and I. Unfortunately, from what I could see there were not any booths to set a mood, which would be more romantic and close.
The service was impeccable. The food amazing, and the cigar bar, fantastic. Unfortunately, the ambiance, or lack there of, puts a damper on the overall experience.
I would not recommend Del Frisco's for a romantic special occasion. If you need a business luncheon or dinner, enjoy a great drink and cigar, no better place to go.
I have been here for both business and personal occasions. The service is always great and they don't rush you unless you need to eat and go.
Food was excellent; however, the server, Mollie, was amazing! She remembers us each time we visit and takes exceptional care of us!
The food was amazing! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's a special occasion place for me due to the prices. It's quite pricey but well worth it (occasionally).
looked forward to a great evening which turned out terrible, service was very bad, we were ignored the whole night. salads were fine, but steak was on cold plate, steak wasn't even warm, spinach was not hot, my fish was brought to table and almost feel off plate, they did comp my fish, WON'T go back. Don't mind spending the money for a great experience, BUT this was not a great night. They have a lot to live up too
Ashley the server was excellent! As well of the rest of the staff.
Sam was amazing, as always.
courtney was great and took care of our every need
Valentines Day date night with hubby. We had 9pm reservations but were seated at 10:30 pm. By the time we were sat we were starved and ordered too much food. The one item we came for was sold OUT! Stone crab. I was looking forward to eating them all week . Our waiter was perfect and apologetic but it didn’t make things better. My husbands steak was dry and over cooked but was so hungry he didn’t send it back. We will give them a second chance only because I need to have the stone crab before season end.
Valentine’s day, booked 2 weeks out, confirmed 6 days ago...they had no table for us and an overflowing, loud waiting area. We left and will never return. Classless. Will spend $90/ plate elsewhere
We had a reservation for 8:30pm. We get there at 8:25 and we were told it'd be an hour wait. We decided to wait it out because this was one of our favorite restaurants. Fantastic food. We were seated about 2 hours later. I realize that when you make a reservation the seating time can fluctuate but 2 hours? We finally get to our table at 10:30pm. Waiter asks us if we are in a hurry and if we were planning on catching a show after dinner. Apparently this was code for "If we have nowhere to be then they'll take their damn time serving us." We had to ask management where our food was because by now it was after 11pm and we hadn't seen our waiter in a while. Food was served at 11:30pm. 3 hours after our "reservation" time.
They obviously overbooked that night. It's too bad. This is the place we go to treat ourselves once in a while. The food there is fantastic!
It was a terrible experience for my significant other and I. We will be looking for a new restaurant to treat ourselves to.
Went there for Valentine’s Day and it was a huge mistake. Had reservations for 7:45 and didn’t get seated until about 8:10. Waitress took so long to serve us we decided to walk out. We love Del Frisco’s but it was a terrible idea to go for Valentine’s Day. They shouldn’t let so many people book reservations if you get that bad of service. The number 1 reason we go so often is for service and that was missing completely.
They sat us an hour after our reservation, had no bread, poor service. For $250 they need to be better
We had reservations for 7:00pm. We did not get seated until 8:00pm. I ordered my steak medium well and it was one of the rarest served steaks I've had in a long time. The waitress tried to make it right by bringing me a hot plate so i could slice my steak and cook it on the plate. Not sure how cooking my own steak to my liking on a hot plate is a good choice. I will admit that she did try to make it right and it was a good effort, but it was already closing in on 9:00pm and I was hungry and did not expect to be eating my main course 2 hours after my reservations were to be. I don't blame our waitress. She did try really hard to make my meal right, but the entire experience was poor from being seated much later than our reservations to a disappointing showing by a kitchen that should know how to prepare a steak.
We find ourselves at Del Frisco a couple times a year. Usually it's a great experience but not this time on Valentine's Day. The ambience is in the main dining area and we were put in the back, which I imagine was a meeting room as noticeable by the large projector on the ceiling. Ceiling was very dirty and the setting was disappointing. Food was spilled on the floor and wasn't cleaned up until I asked. Love this restaurant just had a bad experience this time.
Terrible Valentine's experience. I was embarrassed for them. Not worth even 50$ a person let alone 140$. Management should be ashamed
Del Friscos is one of our favorite places for a special dinner out. I love their VIP Martinis, and the steaks were wonderful. It was Valentines Dinner, and it was obvious they were trying to turn tables as quickly as possible, which though understandable because of the holiday, when spending that kind of money for that kind of meal, it definitely took away from the experience.
We ordered the creamer spinach as a side, which we always love. Unfortunately, it was obvious they had the dishes of it lined up in the kitchen to grab because 2 dishes of it were so cold we couldn’t eat it.....and the 3rd time they rehearse in the microwave. They did comp us the spinach which was appreciated and a classy gesture given the expectation and quality expected at this level of Restsurant and price point of the dinner.
We will definitely return. It just was a bit rushed of an experience given the holiday, which should have spoken or relaxation and romance.
As always, great dining experience. Good food, good service!
