Excellent meal, outstanding service and lots of fun!
Brad, waiter, was great. We weren’t rushed at all. Chris, Manager, stopped to help with wine selection! We don’t go out very often, but it really felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant! Thank you so much for all your service and taking such good care of us this last Friday night!
Amazing food with an even better service and atmosphere
Always great food and service. We will keep coming back.
Went to celebrate a birthday. The ambience was nice, even if the music didn’t quite fit (alternative) we still enjoyed it. The food was fantastic, but expensive, as expected.
We went here for Thanksgiving, and the service was horrendous. First, we had to wait for our waiter to handle his seven-top table before he could even greet us. He even apologized and said to bear with him, and I told him that I understood and we were fine with this, so you think that would make him up his game for the rest of the meal, but I guess to him, it meant he could completely ignore us throughout the entire dinner. It took him a while to give us our first drinks, and he even knew it because he apologized again and then said the drinks were on him. Salad was good, but it took a long time for us to get bread and water. It seemed like the servers were focusing on larger tables, not our two-top.
We ordered two steak and two sides. We got our steaks and our one side, but we never got the other side. And it was a good thirty minutes after we received our steaks and one side before the waiter came to check on us. We told him we had ordered another side, and he said he knew but it looks like they forgot. He didn’t offer to bring it or bag it up for us. I also wanted steak sauce with my food, but because he never checked in with us, I couldn’t ask for him. By the time he had checked in, we were so over it and done. So we asked him to bag our leftovers and opted out of dessert because we didn’t want to wait around for another hour for that and to just be forgotten about again. So we didn’t have any dessert on Thanksgiving! Really disappointed.
We tried to eat our leftovers the night after, but we discovered that the waiter only bagged our steaks and not our one side that we left half of so we could have leftover. I will never eat here again because of this and we are really put out by the whole experience. It ruined our Thanksgiving.
Our Thanksgiving tradition every year is to have dinner at Del Frisco’s and this year was very disappointing, to say the least. The service was terrible. They didn’t clear our plates, wipe up crumbs, or even provide bread. When we asked for a new drink it took over twenty minutes only after multiple requests. Two out of four of our steaks were under-done; they said it would take two minutes to get them to the correct doneness but it took almost twenty five minutes for them to return to the table. We also asked for scallops that were never delivered to the table. Our dinner was over 3.5 hours despite the fact our reservation was at 5:45p and we placed our order within the first thirty minutes of sitting down. We didn’t even have dessert because we were so unhappy with our experience and we wanted to leave the restaurant. Major disappointment!
Our third time to Del Frisco’s, and although our server was absolutely fantastic, the scallops excellent. I do not think I would make a repeat visit to the restraurant. Sorry to say the others are better , for this kind of money.
Del Frisco’s is our favorite restaurant and we look forward to dining there for special occasions. This is the first time ever that I was not happy with my experience there. I get the same thing every time I go there and this time things were definitely not the same. My VIP Martini was watered down, no flavor, A very short pour. All of us order a side of béarnaise with our steaks and the béarnaise was broken to the point it was almost like scrambled eggs. Our appetizer, Shanghai calamari was over deep fried. It was such a disappointment. Our waitress though was awesome. At the very end we found out that Del Frisco’s is being taken over by Landry’s and we’re wondering if this is the reason things were not great.
Oh my goodness, Dels! What a fabulous Thanksgiving they put on! I mean, everything is delicious but some of our favorites are the warm bacon vinaigrette salad because it’s out of this world & we wish it were an everyday menu item. The turkey is hands down the best we’ve ever had, we look forward to this special meal every year. The stuffing is so tasty & unique with the apples and herbs & spices. The pumpkin cheesecake is so rich but so creamy & light, it’s dreamy. There is also a kids portion of their thanksgiving meal which worked great for us because our son could not have finished the full size portion. Vip was awesome, as usual & my husband said that’s the best soda lime he’s ever had...it’s the little things, right? The only terrible thing about our experience is that we forgot to grab a few jelly beans on our way out!
Always excellent food and the wait staff is so nice and kind. I swear, they get nice and more professional every time we go there. Another excellent job. Thanks so much.
One of the best of all the top steakhouses in the entire country.
Great experience at Del Frisco’s on 11/22
Filet and cream cake dinner superb. Caesar salad was just okay nothing great by any means. Lobster bisque excellent.
The waiter, Genesis, was very knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating. The meals were delicious and the birthday desserts were wonderful. All of the staff were courteous and friendly.
Del Frisco's meals are always outstanding! However on this trip the service was sub-par at best which I must say is not typical of them.
I think I caught our waiter having a bad day which he took our experience that direction unfortunately.
Our steaks were well done :(
If you enjoy boisterous patrons bragging about their Rolex and Mercedes this is your “Steakhouse”. In addition, a quick stroll down the back hallway will produce the most braggadocious atmosphere of the evening in the Piano Cigar Bar. While the quality, preparation, and presentation of their steaks is quite lovely, everything else is mediocre and obnoxious. I suppose the exorbitant pricing is merely another area for the boisterous patrons to spew their story telling on their next impressionable dinner guest.
We came for our 50th wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been better!! The manager brought complimentary champagne and congratulated us. Our server was excellent -his name was Genesis. He was very friendly and accommodating. We had lobster bisque that was beyond excellent and the bread was fabulous too! The steak was perfect and we love the au gratin potatoes. They gave us not one but two complementary desserts and they were delicious! So glad we chose to go to Del Frisco‘s. It was an excellent experience!
Thank you Sara
Always a good value. Great food, outstanding staff and wonderful experience.
Always amazing service, food and atmosphere. Thank you!
Would be closer to a 5 except bar experience before dinner. Smelled like fish. Not very clean. Pretty much ignored by bartenders. Seemed to take a long timed to get a drink and definitely got the feeling they didn’t want to be there. Also took a long time to settle bar bill when our table was ready.
Food was not at the level one would expect at this steakhouse. My wife ordered the porterhouse and had to send it back because it was over cooked. The second porterhouse tasted bad. Then changed to a filet which was just "ok". Note: the other couple in our party also ordered the porterhouse and said that their cut was very salty and did not taste good. Will not be planning a return trip anytime soon.
We cane to celebrate my birthday. Del Frisco’s knocked it out of the park. Although it was very crowded, we were seated promptly, and in a place that shielded us from the noise of a busy bustling great restaurant. The steak was cooked perfectly, and our server was very very good. I will go back. Consistently one of the best steaks in the state.
Usually happy with Del Frisco’s, but this visit was sub par! Had a 6:30pm reservation and we were seated after 7pm. Everything took a great deal of time from getting wine, appetizer, entree, etc. and we left the restaurant about 10pm. No offer to make it right with dessert or any adjustment to our check- just a couple apologies from the server at the end of the night. Not acceptable for a meal that cost about $140 per person by that time it was all said and done.
Not the best place for a family. Service took a very long time between courses. Otherwise, food was good, wine was better.
Kurt did a great job for us! My wife and I were visiting Denver and we had a wonderful experience.
Amazing atmosphere and food. Our waitress Laura was very attentive and helpful.
Delicious. Great service good atmosphere.
The service level was less than I have expect from Del Friscos.
The service was great along with the food!!
Our service was impeccable. The food was absolutely delicious. The room was a little to brightly lite for a fine dining restaurant, and the small room made the noise louder than it should of been. But overall it was a great experience. The waiter picked a perfect wine for my tasting, and dinner to pair with.
great anniversary dinner
Always a great place to eat and enjoy a quiet dinner. Great food and service!
Always superb. And if you like to smoke the occasional cigar do take advantage of the cigar lounge.
One of the best steaks in Denver hands down. Great for a business lunch or special occasion
This was the best meal we’ve had out in years! My wife’s fillet was melt in your mouth tender and my sea bass was cooked to perfection. Our server Kirk was awesome and very helpful in picking the wines to go with our meals. This will now be out go to place for a quality night out. It is quite pricey so it’s not an every month kind of place, at least on our budget, but celebrating a birthday or in our case an anniversary is a nice splurge.
Prime ribeye was store bought quality. Very tough and chewy. I know .... I should have returned it.
