Great service and even better food!
Perfection. We went for our wedding anniversary at lunch while kids were in daycare and school. It was great. Very attentive service and the food (appetizers, steaks, and desserts) were phenomenal. Forty-five dry aged ribeye did not disappoint, nor did the yellow cake dessert. Yum. We have already starting talking about returning from my birthday in a couple months.
We were here for our anniversary and as usual Del Frisco’s Double Eagle did not disappoint!
I celebrated my birthday here and as usual, the service was excellent and food delicious. I received a birthday card signed by the staff and the amazing butter cake that made it even more special.
THANK YOU Del Frisco Double Eagle for making my birthday special!
Good overall. Salad was too heavily dressed and fries were cold.
Excellent per usual!
Server didn’t place our food order in for 25 minutes but the manager resolved the issue.
Interior is awesome but the food was average at best.
It was the best service I've had in years. The food was delicious - we had the calamari, filets and the creamed corn.
This place was fantastic for celebrating our nuptials. We let them know ahead of time that we just got married that day and they have complimentary champagne and dessert.
Not real happy with rib eye, not cooked to request , waiter got busy at end of meal and attention was minimal, will eat again though
The service was excellent from the first encounter to the last encounter.
Amazing! Just Amazing. Will do every time I am in DC. Have the Butter Cake!
Food was delicious. Server was excellent. The noise level in the restaurant made it difficult to have quality conversations
Visiting D.C. for our anniversary, wanted to do something nice for dinner. We had a table with a window view. Staff, food, service were excellent and I've already been recommending it to friends!
Overall, Service, food everything was great
Just minor issue with the seating.
Upon arriving shortly before my reservation time i had to wait and there was no seating for dinners waiting on their tables. There was an infestation of mini fruit flies in the resturant which was annoying period but especially after being seated and my food came out. My waiter was not attentive at all and i had to have other servers constantly go find him when me or my mother needed something. It was mothers day for goodness sake he was supposed to be on point with service and he wasnt! By far my worst exspereince here thus far and i have been here multiple times now. Wish the $160.00 meal
would have been on the house with the nasty bugs flying around and rude unprofessional waiter.
Located in the heart of dc, great staff, and great food.
Great service and food. Blue cheese wedge salad was delicious. We ordered a porterhouse (can probably feed 3-4 people) and the seared tuna cooked medium rare - was just Perfect. I would recommend this restaurant for families or couples.
Cold food, indifferent preparation. Would not serve us a cheeseburger off the lunch menu at lunchtime, because we were not sitting at the bar. The bar, by the way, was less than 2 yards away from us. Any other restaurant in DC, at these prices, would want the customer to be pleased. But not here, not on mother’s day.
Went to Double Eagle for Mother’s Day and we absolutely loved it. The service, food and drinks were perfect.
Food was great. And importantly: Excellent service. High quality experience.
This was a fabulous steakhouse. From appetizer to dessert we were thoroughly satisfied and the perfect place to celebrate.
I’ve been there many times. This time was different I expect a superior steak, it wasn’t this time. When trying to select a wine the waiter said the new policy was that tasting to determine which $19.00 glass of wine to get was not allowed. Maybe it was a bad day. I will recommend to others based on my past experience but not this one. I will go back myself chasing that dream experience from the past. I am aware That there are other steak restaurants there are in DC
Hello and thank you for this survey. My day was fulfilled tremendously from the time arrived to the time I left. The atmosphere and setting made my dinner outing even more spectacular for a pre celebration on Mother’s Day. I felt very special and the memories will be everlasting. Thank you Del Frisco’s!!!!
The service was spotty but the food was delicious. Our entrees didn’t come out at the same time. We had to pour our own wine. We rarely saw our server but the food was spot on and the wine recommendation was wonderful!
I truly enjoyed my meal. It was my husband and I first time at Del Frisco’s and we truly enjoyed our experience. The manager was very pleasant and so was our server. Just a really great experience. Thank you look forward to my next visit!
Was there to celebrated three (3) birthdays in our group. After being seated, we waited 15-minutes for the server to arrive and ask if we wanted anything to drink. After the drinks and diner menus were provided, we then waited 20-minutes for the server to return. She then asked if we were ready to order, then her cell phone "binged" (incoming text?) and while taking our order she checked her cell phone. After 15 or 20-minutes, my wife asked a different server if we could have an order of bread. The other server indicated he would let our server know. After about 10-minutes, the other server walked by and noticed our order of bread had not arrived, so he went into the kitchen and brought us our bread, which was very nice since he was not our server. When our server did return she took our order, and then left right after the last order was place, without asking if we had any questions or needed anything.
The meals were brought out by food-runners and all of the meals were on par with other dining restaurants in the downtown DC area. Usually, at least in some restaurants, a Manager will stop by the table and ask "how is everything"? This courtesy was not provided, however I understand Managers are responsible for overall operations of the dining facility, not individual tables. We will not be returning and will not recommend to our friends and co-workers. Maybe service will improve after server training and management explaining expectations of the servers, however until services improves we will dine and celebrate at other restaurants.

One of my favorite places to dine in DC! I absolutely love it!
Had to wait 45 mins to be seated in spite of arriving on time for the reservation. Had a nice table by the window when we were finally seated. Obviously the restaurant was busier than usual. Service was poor, waited another 20 mins for our server to take our order. Ordered a spicy cocktail which I have ordered at this restaurant many times before, was unable to taste the habanero, seemed like the drink was made without it. Asked for the sommelier who never came to the table. Finally flagged someone down to ask for a wine list and ordered a bottle of wine, our server brought it to the table, but left for more than 15 mins to take orders from another table. Had to ask a manager passing by to have the bottle opened. Ordered the seafood plateau as appetizer, plate was at the table for so long after we were finished the ice melted all over the table so the tablecloth was saturated. Had to put my napkin on the tablecloth to avoid having it leak onto my clothing. Tablecloth was never cleaned or replaced before entree was served but I was given a fresh napkin. Scallops were extremely salty. With the way the evening went we decided to skip dessert. The manager did apologize for the service, clearly they were busier than usual.
Just randomly poor. Appetizers arrived fine, and were great. The empty appetizer plates, etc were never removed from table. 3 times we were told our entrees were coming any minute - which when they finally did, the warning of hot plate didn’t mean anything. The plate was not hot. Our steaks were not hot. Not saying they were cold. But they had definitely been sitting out. Our sides were not hot. We were never asked how our food was or anything. Never.
Great staff, very caring and helpful. The steaks were great. Best I've had at a high end "steak restaurant." A tad light on the veggies, but that me, I like some veggies to balance the dinner out.
Outstanding service from the restaurant manager (Matthew I think, wedding ring with wood inlay) and waiter (gentleman with a single white streak in his hair) in celebrating a new job offer and big move for us. Meat was cooked perfectly and sides were served which was a nice touch. Sat downstairs near the bar and liked the indoor/outdoor flow and liveliness.
It was just ok. Not a premier steak house. Lots of goopy sauces on food. Quite ordinary.
One word GREAT. Service and food was exceptional
Amazing as always, but the tv at bar is tacky and should be removed.
The staff and level of service are excellent. The food was just great! One of the best steaks I have had and the drinks are good.
I'm rating my meal or shall I say feast! I absolutely adore the heirloom tomatoes and burrata cheese! We also ate the oysters as we don't have everyday access in good old Oklahoma. You can't go wrong with the wonderful filet but it's really more on the rare side despite ordering medium. You also get delicious bread and butter as an appetizer so go easy on ordering too much. Since we were out on the town we ordered desert! The butter pecan butter cake is without a doubt something to loosen the belt for! We love this restaurant and have eaten in both NYC and D.C.
