2nd time going there in 3 weeks awesome service as usual!
We went for a birthday celebration and DelFriscos did not disappoint. Attentive staff, vibrant atmosphere, and superb steak! 5 stars!!
Our server Andy was top notch. The food and experience was spot on.
Lack luster service. Not a fan of the establishment anymore. Quality food but prices aren’t justified with the type of service provided. I believe it’s just this specific location but the staff seems quite unbothered in regards to ensuring an awesome dining experience. I’ll be checking at home more.
This time I didn’t have a steak which is pretty awesome! The seafood option Double Eagle Tasting was pretty good. Great ambiance and very good drinks. You definitely want to come back!
Birthday dinner for a group of 5. Overall we enjoyed the food and drinks. Del Frisco continues to be one of my favorite restaurants.
The outdoor dining bubble was nice, but the food and service wasn't as good. Server was nice enough but for the type of restaurant this is and prices, it was not acceptable. Filet was overcooked, strip steak wasn't an optimal strip cut, and drinks were average. I was disappointed.
My wife and I were expecting fine dining and that was not the case. I had to send my plate back twice to try and get a medium-rare steak and the lobster tail was overcooked and tough. The biggest disappointment was when I made the reservations they asked if this was a special occasion. I informed them it was my wife's birthday. She never even received a Happy Birthday wish. It would have been better to offer 3-course dinners.
It was our anniversary and Del Frisco celebrated us completely! Our waiter was spot on and made our night perfect❤️ The food was AMAZING, as always, and the atmosphere was romantic. This was our first “dress up” date since COVID and it felt wonderful. Thank you 😊
Everything was great: the service, the food, beverages and OMG that buttery cake. 💕 I look forward to my next visit.
1. We booked a 7pm reservation for outside dining on a Thursday night. Arrived at exactly 7pm and were told our table was inside and that if we wanted outside we would have to wait 45 minutes even though there were several empty outdoor tables. After see where our indoor table was located and realizing that we weren’t comfortable, we went down and spoke to another hostess who seated us immediately outside.
2. Our waiter couldn’t understand why we were seated without menus
3. We ordered 2 appetizers. A server (not our waiter) came over right after we ordered with 1 correct appetizer (shrimp) and 1 incorrect appetizer (tuna). We told him and, after much confusion on his part (he was sure we ordered the tuna), he set down the shrimp and left. 2 minutes later he came back telling us it was for the other table and he wanted to take the shrimp back from us and give it to the other table - which we had already started eating.
4. Our second appetizer ($21 raw oysters) came 45 minutes later WITH our dinner (and without the proper fork to eat it).
5. Our waiter never checked in and after several long stretches we finally flagged down another server and asked him to ask our waiter for the check.
6. Another long wait and the server comes over with the check but sees that someone is clearing our place so he turns and leaves again!
7. Two more extremely long stretches between him coming back to give us the check (We immediately give him our credit card) and then waiting again until he brought it back.
The food was very good but over $200 to sit for long stretches of time without food or anyone checking in to see if we needed anything was extremely disappointing. $21 for 6 oysters and we had to eat them quickly so our steaks didn’t get cold.... Not to mention the babysitting bill was significantly higher because the meal took over 2 hours.....
The food was excellent but my server was not very good. She was not attentive. However, I did notice other servers were provided excellent service.
The service on the patio was sub par. Apparently there is issue with the kitchen being far from the patio, however that is not on the client to feel the effects.
The service was excellent. The food on the other hand was lackluster and left us wanting more, especially at that price point.
The tuna tartar was more an unseasoned tuna poke with lots of tough bits. A "meh!"
The duo steak offering was seasoned well but needed to actually be seared in a hot pan, it was served gray and unappealing. Flavor was ok, but would have been better if they'd achieved an actual quality sear. If this is how they treat the standard prime beef I fear what they'd do to an A5Waygu.
Butter cake should be moist, this was anything but. Even with the ice cream this cake cried out for moisture.
We probably won't be back. Nearly $500 meal for two was not worth it at all.
Food was delicious, service was great. A great spot for a nice date.
Everything was awesome!!
Awesome experience, food was awesome, service was awesome!
Overall the experience was subpar. Titus, our server, was attentive. The food could have been better. More importantly, the fact that this restaurant served customers that were highly under dressed (e.g. extremely revealing outfits and/or casual clothing) was very disappointing and does not align with standards and expectations.
Such a wonderful restaurant. My wife and I had an amazing time.
The food was amazing. I got the chilean sea bass and crab fried rice which melted in my mouth like butter! Also loved the lobster Mac & cheese and the butter cake. We celebrated our birthdays and were treated as such! Our server Ebony always made sure we were taken care of and checked in on us consistently! She made our experience great because she provided us with the perfect meal/ drink recommendations and knew exactly what we needed. Overall loved the intimate ambiance and vibe.
Went for my Anniversary dinner and the experience was ok. I'm very frequent with Del Frisco's and being my wife's first time I was slightly sadden by the service with a $600 bill.
Our server Justin was amazing!
Enjoyed my birthday lunch!
First time there, I will be coming back and making recommendations
Great - nice wine list and beautiful setting outside. Bloom has rentable igloos.
We dined in one of the outside tents. Super cute n cozy! The food was phenomenal. Make sure you have the cheesesteak egg rolls (they are not on the menu). And the lobster mac. Steven was our server & he was awesome.
Service was below average. The waygu steak was very fatty and not worth anywhere near the $110+ price.
I have been to Del Friscos in dc on a few occasions. And other del Friscos in other cities.
I feel like the quality was lacking the most recent visit.
The steak was mediocre. The ambiance was mediocre.
We had a reservation and had to wait at the hostess stand both up and downstairs for probably a combine 20 min. First when were downstairs they told us to go upstairs and someone would seat us. . When we got upstairs, no one came by to seat us for at least 10 min.
The bathroom also wasn’t kept clean. No towels for wiping your hands. Toilet paper all over. Just not what you’d expect from a finer establishment
Our server, the bartender, was great. He did a great job.
I understand covid has taken a toll on everyone, in general things are tougher. But just wasn’t the experiencing I was hoping for.
We really enjoyed our dinner and the service. We will dine here again.
This was my second time here and my boyfriend first and we enjoyed ourselves. Our server Tariq was excellent and he truly made sure we enjoyed every part of the experience.
I love Del Frisco's but on this occassion I was very disappointed. I went to celebrate my birthday with my family as i normally do every year. The drinks were not as good as I rememebered. I actually sent my last drink back because it was awful. My steak came out cold and I had to remind the waiter that I ordered lobster mac and cheese because it did not come out with my cold steak and after the steak was refired , the mac still was not out. Not the Del Friscos that I know and love.
1st time dining here and will definitely return. Excellent service from our waiter James and overall excellent experience.
Overall the lunch was great. The food was fresh and well seasoned EXCEPT for the calamari, which was tough, double-fried and just bad. Thankfully they had great service and replaced it without any fuss or delay. Esthetically, the restaurant is nice, but the table tops are showing some wear. Trust me, thats not part of the decor. I was annoyed that I didn’t know about their outdoor dining pods (bubbles) as an option during the intake process - very romantic and sooo cute 🌸
Several items on the menu were not available
Food was served lukewarm
It took 20 mins to get our drink order gin and tonic and hot tea
the restaurant was not crowded.
Food took an hour and a half. No exaggeration at all. The server never asked us if we wanted any refills. I felt robbed especially because the gratuity was included (which was $100). I just felt forgotten about. Don’t plan on returning ever.
First let me say Del Frisco’s was highly recommended by a co worker of mine to take my wife out to eat for our 6year wedding anniversary. When we first walked thru the door I had a bottle of Moët in my hand I was going to pay the corking fee for my server to pop the bottle so me and wife could chill sip on the bottle and reflect and enjoy our outing for our honeymoon. The greeter at the door told me I could not bring the bottle in the building. I kindly told him I was planning on paying the corking fee to pop the bottle and did he mind if I ask the young lady at the front desk if the information he was telling me was true that I couldn’t bring the bottle in the building. The young lady said yes I could bring it in and the corking fee was $45. I said cool and me and my wife checked in for our reservation and was seated. The server can to our table and noticed the bottle and said he would be happy to pop the bottle for us and the corking fee was $50. I told him the young lady at the front desk said it was $45. He told me no she was wrong the corking fee is $50. I told him no problem cool and had him pop the bottle. Our food came out and my wife wanted some butter but our server took 10 minutes to come and ask was it anything we needed after we had been waiting to tell him she would like some butter. We had leftovers we told our server we wanted to take with us and he just brought to boxes to the table and that was it we boxed our own leftovers. This wouldn’t be a problem but the table next to us we watched our server box there leftovers up for the in boxes. I was just wondering why he didn’t box our leftovers up as well. Overall we made the most of our dinner but both were disappointed in the overall service of the restaurant.
We celebrated a birthday for my daughter and had a wonderful evening! Danielle was a delight as our server and everyone was attentive to our needs. The upstairs view was lovely and the food, as always, was delicious.
Del Frisco's is a lovely restaurant located in Washington, DC overlooking the city. The waitstaff and hosts were wonderful and the food was to die for! In fact the food was so good that I indulged in dessert which was just as good as the food. I highly recommend it for special occasions or if you're just craving a scrumptious steak!
A fight or something broke out while i was dining.. police came
