Amazing romantic date night and food was amazing. I do wish you guys add mussels to the menu lol
My waiter Damien was phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable about each entree. His recommendations for me were spot on, especially the VIP.
Easter brunch. Everything was delicious, as always.
The food and service here is always impeccable. Love this place.
We come to Del Frisco’s often but this was definitely the best service we have ever received. Tark is a great server.
I'm no stranger to this restaurant, but last night was magical. We had one of the sommeliers come over to help us pick out a tempranillo. Our server Brandon was truly amazing and the food was perfect. Our crab cakes had a crust that thoroughly enjoyed. .... and buttercake!
Food was delicious as usual. Service was EXTREMELY slow. We had an 8:00 reservation but didn’t leave the restaurant until after 11:00.
Management is clearly trying to make the experience better. The steak is the best in town but the ambience needed improvement. Management is clearly trying to enforce the dress code which had been lacking. #trending upward. Great spot for a business meeting, pre-game Caps game...
Great experience, great service. Knowledgeable wine captains. Pricey.
Amazing food and service.
It was great
Our server was not professional nor attentive. He messed up our order, brought our food out well after it was cooked. The food was not hot. We ordered asparagus he did not make us aware of the nuts that came on top of them. He did not go over any specials with us.
There was another party there who were very loud. It was really distracting and unfair to the other patrons. The valet was rude. Overall not what I experienced when I went to Del Friscos four years ago. Waste of money. I will never go back.
A great experience all around. Our waiter was very attentive and was great with suggestions. The manager came over to introduce herself. The drinks were superb and the food was amazing!!
A beautiful restaurant with fantastic food and great service. A mistake from the bar on my dry martini was quickly rectified, and the wine service was excellent. Overall it was a sublime dining experience, and a fun splurge.
I took a group of 9 executives, board members, and some of their family members out for dinner while at a conference. This was easily one of the best restaurants I’ve ever dined at. Our server was attentive without being smothering, highly knowledgeable, and very friendly. The food was extraordinary, and our table had great views of DC. The prices are not for the faint of heart or light of wallet, but then again Del Frisco’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience you and your guests will remember for many years to come.
Simple, delicious menu, great service, relaxing ambiance and lovely cocktails. My steak was slightly overcooked but still delicious.
Food and service was great! I missed my reservations so I was not seated immediately but, There was not a long wait for a party of 5.
Took a long time to get our food. We had a reservation for 8:45 but ended up sitting downstairs because they still had no table for us by 9.pm. Which was fine. Service was very slow. We weren’t in a rush as we were with family and catching up, but after an hour and a half after our salads.. someone came out and said they were giving us extra sides because of the wait..
The food is always amazing.. but a little disappointed with this experience. We were a party of three, spent around $600......just expect more from del Frisco’s.
Great food and great atmosphere. The anejo old fashioned is one of the best drinks and the butter cake is to die for. Steaks are always prepared as ordered. Wait staff is friendly and attentive.
I can not rave enough about my wonderful experience at this restaurant. I first want to commend the Maitre D, Mathias Zeumer who was terrific and made the dinner fabulous. Each course was delicious. I started with a Caesar salad which was scrumptious. The anchovies were plentiful and tasty. The next course was a wonderful bone in prime rib. It was made perfectly. It was juicy, tender and great. The sides were also tasty and I highly recommend the cream spinach. At the recommendation of the Maitre D, we all tried the Butter Cake. It was delicious and not a single crumb was left over.
The place is top notch and nect time I am in DC, I will definitely return
Cream of the crop steakhouse...It's so much more than a steakhouse with different varieties of seafood. I recommend the long ribeye simple amazing...
What was supposed to be a celebratory birthday dinner quickly turned into disappointment. When checking in for our dinner reservation, the host proceeds to guide us to our table upstairs. And then mentions a "dress code." I copied and pasted this directly from the website:
"•Dress: Business casual attire. Thank you for not wearing tank tops, sleeveless shirts, flip-flops, gym wear, excessively revealing or torn clothing, or short shorts. Dress shorts are acceptable. Please remove your hat when entering the restaurant."
With that being said one of the guests in our party didn't have on any of the clothing items listed above but the hostess thought otherwise and we were instructed to wait for a manager. Although while we were waiting to be seated I saw several patrons wearing flip flops and I cant count the amount of people improperly dressed which were seated at the bar. Long story short no manager came to speak with us about the issue and we made the best of the situation and enjoyed our meals.
Our waiter Mathias, was very friendly and suggested several dishes which were not on the menu. He was attentive and professional. Mathias' great service made our party forget that we even had an issue with the hostess before dining.
I wont be back to Del Frisco's due to the whole "dress code," issue. You want a pleasant dining experience with no hiccups. This was not our first time here and we never have issues like that at similar restaurants such as Joes, Ruth Chris, or Eddie Vs. Sincerely, Suit & Tie...
Best dining experience I’ve ever had, it’s expensive but worth it, service was great from host, to server, to manger.
Food was amazing, drinks were amazing, presentation out of this world. Could not have been happier
My date and I had an awesome experience here and it was even more special since it was his first time dining here. The service was excellent and the food is always a great culinary experience.
The food was exceptional and so was the service, the only issue that we had was that the silverware and the plates weren't clean. The plates had old food stains on them. Other than that everything was good overall.
I would recommend Del Friscos to anyone in the DC area. By far it's the best restaurant in town.
Sunday Family Dinner with my teenage boys. They made us feel special
Although booked a table for 8.45 had a 15 minute wait. The table was opposite a bar with 2 tvs as well as a tv monitor above our head meaning customers were standing near us snd looking over us which was uncomfortable. The noise level was so bad we could not have a conversation and although the food and service were good we left early due to the noise. Would not go back.
They called to confirm which we did. They made it clear not to wear ball caps, ripped jeans or track suits. There was multiple people in track suits, three in ball caps, ripped jeans and two girls at the Bar who looked like tattooed rear ends where hanging out. If you are going to have a dress code then enforce it
Tremendous service and attention to detail. The wine list is expansive yet still has great wines at reasonable prices.
The food was impeccable and did not disappoint at all! The drinks were so good and you can tell the bartender was seasoned. I would definitely recommend!
Excellent Steaks! We had a fantastic dinner in DC here!!
Service and food are definitely outstanding,
and they have McCallan 25 !
Didn’t ask nor care we celebrated a birthday.
The service was amazing. The food was phenomenal. The atmosphere was ideal. The staff at Del Frisco’s made my mother’s birthday one to remember. Thank you.
Wonderful steak and salmon - cannot miss the calamari app - delicious! Extensive fabulous wine list!
Fabulous waitress. Paulina. Great service. Great ambiance. Great food. What you would expect of a Del Frisco’s.
I attended Del Friscos for my birthday dinner with a couple friends. I was running a little late and called the restaurant to let them know and they stated it was no problem. When I arrived at the restaurant, my party and I were seated after a brief wait at the bar (no more than 5min). The food and our server, Omar, was wonderful. And the restaurant even brought me a birthday treat!
Wonderful experience. Food was delicious, steak was cooked perfectly, and the butter cake was a nice finish. We we seated upstairs, and had a comfy booth, but was still able to take in the view and light from the windows. The waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Valet parking was relatively cheap and painless, though I did notice while waiting for the attendants to bring my car, a couple arrived on the direct opposite side of the street (literally 3 steps away from the attendant stand) and they told the driver he had to pull up to their side. The street is very tight, especially if there is oncoming traffic so the car had to go around, which I thought was a little douchey to make him do that. Other than that, everything - people, food and atmosphere- was perfect.
